Great food at the masala express. Rice is seasoned very well with cashews and other spices. Meal big enough for 2 and comes with a side salad that is fresh and light. Very good aroma when you walk in.Large selection of gifts and products to buy.

Thrilled to have Masala Express in Hooks! I enjoyed both the Butter Chicken and Mutton Masala. Very tasty and the heat was about medium, which is as much as I can handle comfortably. My wife asked for the Butter Chicken to be 0 heat but it was just as hot as the other. It was too much heat for her so if you don’t like heat in your Indian food, this may not be for you. My mouth was quite warm but not painful, so I was happy with it.

What sort of gas station in Texas doesn't have water available? Driving cross country I expect to be able to fill up my reusable water bottle when I fill up for gas. This place doesn't offer water. I feel like this should be illegal.

They have done lots of remodeling. Gas is not as cheap as in New Boston. So if headed west stop at 201 mile marker and fuel is cheaper.

We stopped at the 7 Star Travel Plaza to grab drinks and snacks for our trip. It was a Valero station. After choosing our fountain drinks and snacks, we went up to pay. They did not take Valero cards! The people behind the counter could not answer our questions because they didn't know any English or Spanish.

Dont use this place for the Mudflap app. You think youre saving 7 or 8 cents per gallon until you look at your reciept and see they charged you $10 for a credit transaction. Mudflap should throw deceptive stops like this off their app. Youre not saving any money coming here theyre just manipulating the app to draw in more trucks. 👎

I'm sure it's a fine place to get gas as well as any other product. But the gas pump's "yes" button wouldn't work so I could not have my receipt printed at the pump and then the employees weren't even competent enough to print my receipt inside. Had to leave with no receipt. First time ever...

The MasalaExpress here is great. Was pleasantly surprised to be able to get Indian food at a truck stop in Texas, and it’s good quality too! They even make their naan in an authentic clay oven.

I don't know where the pictures come from. Must be very old. The place us completely run-down. Even windows are missing, restrooms are an absolute mess. Next time I surely stop across the road. Much nicer placeTwo stars only because of the good diesel price, but you get this price at the other station as well.

Hard to rate this location as I only got gas and paid at the pump. Fuel court was clean enough. From the pumps it looked OK inside. But I didn't actually go inside.

Today I filled up on a truck, I had half a tank, I filled up about 40 gallons, the amount was about $ 120, I filled up on Mudflap, I usually don’t go for a check, it comes by SMS and mail, when I have already driven 30 miles from refueling and stopped, I read the SMS and was very surprised, they charged me 218 $ and wrote that I filled 73 gallons, although I can fill up the maximum 70 gallons, I don’t speak English and I can’t call, so I leave this review , the next time I refuel here I will immediately check, but I am very dissatisfied, I thought that I saved money on refueling, but in the end I overpaid a lot😡😡😡

They have excellent customer service. The Hunt's Brothers pizza is good. The Krispy Krunchy Cajun chicken is great and they are now serving different curry dishes which are really good!

This places doesn't look like much but the owners are improving the place and it should be a in good shape soon I hopeThey always have cheap diesel here cheaper than a lot of other places so if your a truck driver come fill up here

Would be five if the fountain drink machines were working. They have Pepsi and Coke on tap. Friendly store clerk. Well lit. Great bathrooms for the ladies. Men's could use a door at main entrance. Would definitely stop here again!

Traveling though and even though staff was nice the store was small and crowded, the store smells of cigarette smoke and the bathrooms are not very sanitary and have not toilet paper
