Mummes has anything agricultural, Clothing, boots, shoes, belts, jewelry, purses, hats, and a gun room that is the place to go if your looking for a firearm, and I mean wall to wall, plus more of just rifles, and shotguns, the pistols are just as plentiful, and any hard to find item pertaining to a firearm, a really big selection of holsters, plus scopes, with mounting, and bore sighting done on sight, binoculars, and suppressors, wall to wall ammo as well, with a new kiosk for fingerprinting.

I called and spoke to Jennifer on Friday August 11th about mounting a scope on my hunting rifle. I made arrangements with her to bring it in on Saturday the 12th not only did she mount the scope, but she bore sightedit as well. She had the whole thing done in under 20 minutes. The price was half of what I was quoted from a gun store in San Antonio, and they wanted me to leave my gun with them for a week. The gun room at Mumme'sis like a candy store to anyone who likes the outdoors all the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and are willing to help and answer any questions you may haveI give Mumme's gun room an A+ ratingand highly recommend if anyone wants to buy a gun, ammo or have some work done on their guns go to Mumme's in Hondo Texas you will not be disappointed.Kudos to you all at Mumme's 😊👍Thanks again for your service.Mark J White

This is always a last resort purchase place for me anyways, but when every other place was closed Monday, Jan 2, I stopped in to purchase a ton of corn.Before it was loaded, I questioned the staff member about the price, because I could buy Mummie’s corn cheaper at H‑E‑B….which didn’t make any sense. The guy behind the counter got really rude with me and said, “Because H‑E‑B can price their stuff however the hell they want to, that’s why!!” Quite taken aback at his tone and disregard to any type of courtesy, I told him I didn't need the order and would wait to pick it up elsewhere tomorrow. It wasn’t about the price, but being spoken to that way was uncalled for. I will not and have not recommended to anyone to shop or purchase here. Even at a last resort place, decent manners by the staff should be implemented.The ONE STAR is because when Jennifer is in the gun shop, she tends to business and is efficient.

Don’t know that I have ever been when they haven’t been busy but it never feels slow. Great, friendly service whether you are getting feed or supplies in the store. We never pass up a trip to browse through the gun store while we are there. Great location makes it easy to get what we need and get back to work easily.

There corn is the cleanest and the best smelling that you're going to find. Saves on trying to keeping your feeders from plugging and keeps them feeding. The employees at the front counter are some of the nicest and most helpful people and they're not trying to sale you a bunch of BS you don't need. Same goes for the guys working on the loading docks they try to get you loaded and back on your way hunting not wasting your time. All in all the Hondo store is one of the best feed stores and hunting supplie stores I've ever been in.

They have the best apple scented corn for deer, opening up a bag of it smells like a box of fruit loops. I have tried others and seen the difference on my game cam. Their feed prices are always in line with other suppliers and the workers are professional. I've been getting my deer corn here for over 10 years now.

Went in because my gun I use to shoot snakes keeps jamming. The gentleman whose helped me explained the different bullets to use and explained the problem I was having with my rat shots. He was very polite and didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions. He was very professional and polite. I would go back there again and advise anyone to do the same

I come here weekly for feed. Staff is helpful and prices are good. Alfalfa pellets can be dusty, and usually have corn or milo in them. Otherwise good quality, and cheapest in the area.

Prices run a bit high on many non-feed items. Also there is a notable lack of natural, non-GMO, and organic feed choices. But they have a wide variety of goods, are open long hours, and the staff is always friendly amd helpful.
