They do have everything and they're getting better about the long wait times in the line. I know it's not the cashiers faults because they literally only schedule like one employee at a time so that one person is stuck running around doing everything when there should really be at least 2 or 3 people working in there!

So this never happens! I ran into the store yesterday, got the items I needed then checked out on the self help register and decided to get $20 so I could have some cash. I then proceeded to walk right out of the store. Today out of the blue I remembered it and just took a chance that someone might have come in behind me and turned it in. Well DD was behind the counter and as I was telling her the story she just said, YES I'll be right back and came back with an envelope with my picture and the $20 inside the envelope. WHAT??? LOL. I love this place. Thank you DD and whoever else was involved with stepping up and being incredibly honest. ❤️

Do not recommend this site for a FedEx hold location. My package was within the size limits according to FedEx, and they weren't supposed to refuse my package. Manager was hateful. FedEx Corporate will rip them a new one for refusing a package within specified size limits.

I was in the other day to get ice. Leonard walked me out to get the ice and as I was walking to my car, I noticed a lot of trash on the ground. As usual, lazy and trashy people can’t wait until they find a trash can. They just dump it on the ground by their car. We are very close to the bay and marsh so it’s upsetting that trashy people have no regard for our waterways. Before I backed out, Leonard was already coming out with a trash can and started picking up all trash. I was so happy to see that and I thanked him for not ignoring it and picking it up. Thank you Leonard. Dollar General should recognize his exceptional work! ☺️

Bought a gift card for my grandson for Christmas here. When he went to use it he was told it had no value. The store said they can’t help me. They don’t keep any records on transactions. Really? Not even possible. Corporate said the same thing. That’s ludicrous!

I went into this store two days ago and the young boy running the register was first off NOT wearing a mask so I pointed to the sign that stated Mask are required he throws his hands up and says "what" I said why are you not wearing a mask he replied because I am standing back here and I dont enforce it after he has been typing on his phone the entire time. This kid is new because this was the first time I had seen him in there he had no name tag on, I told him I was contacting DG corporate he said so!! Then as I am pulling out he comes out the store throwing his hands up at me trying to instigate something. Filed a complaint and waiting on DM to contact me. This is NOT ok to have this kind of person working in the public wearing no mask and has no concern for health or public safety.

7/11/18 6:15 pmDollar Gen says, "July 11 veterans get 11% off their purchases!" HAHAHAHAHA! I saw the sign posted at the cash register stating this and I asked the checkout gal about it. Blank stare. She is totally unaware of the policy. Poor management communication perhaps? After she looks at it she seems troubled. "Ummm I don't know how to give you the discount" she says. She says I guess I can go try to find out. I said I'll skip it as I can see myself twiddling my thumbs for 15 minutes. Anyway congrats to Dollar General for the empty gesture. Y'all scored some points with me! No worries. As a Vietnam vet I'm used to it.

The store stays messy. They need to gut it and start over. The lack of organization is a problem with shoppers being able to locate the products they want. The location is very convenient.

Find everything I need at this location everything is well put together and organized only problem I have is that some of the workers are very slow and doesn't help with the customers need as well sometimes things are in wrong place but overall good store...

This store was dark and dingy, the clerk's were rude and unkind. I'm glad I don't live here. I'd have to drive further for a more decent experience at a different DG.

Staff seems less interested in checking out the customers, they must have a ton of people just walk out with stuff! Hard to locate things, but are usually well stocked.
