Awful service the gay guy at the front register lied to me about providing a service that you guys offer claiming that the computer system was "new". Then proceeded to get angry and start raising his voice like a little teenage girl. Zero out of zero that guy should not have that job.

I love Dollar General and this is one of the best locations in my area. Especially, when two particular people are working. The two of them are so sweet and so patient when my best friend and I have our kids with us!

I visit this location often, it's conveniently close to home. Friendly employees, and great service. But I think they may need more employees, because the aisle are always packed with inventory, and Ive only seen 2 employees working, one checking, and one stocking. But over all a great neighborhood DG.

For a discount store in the country this one is pretty busy, its pretty much the only store here except for gas stations. And for a dollar general they are for the most part pretty organized and not messy. Most of them look like they have been in a tornado inside. This one is pretty clean and organized they are usually out of a lot of things but like i said the only store in this area. The cashiers are all so friendly and helpful... they are not rude when you come up with a lot of stuff and ask questions about price they help you. Not many dollar stores have employees that actually know prices and sales. These workers do. I come here almost every other day for something while here. Sometimes its better than going to walmart.

The store was a complete disaster. The aisles were packed with freight and merchandise just thrown everywhere. The line to checkout was so long and the other register was broke down. 2 employees for that store. That was unacceptable. That store needs supervision and it needs a crew to go in and clean it up, stock the shelves and free the aisles of clutter.

Super stocked!! Wasnt hard to find what I needed either. Cashier was fast had 4 people in front of me and I only had a few things and thought I'd be there for a while but she got everyone rang up and put at a speedy time!!

Quick and easy to get in and out. It was a little messy which is unusual . This store used to be so organized and clean. Probably because Dollar General does not have more employees in any of their stores in this area .

Great store, and only other store than Walmart :(Small, is mostly cluttered in isles, trip hazard, fire hazard. But other than that, you get mostly what you need, instead of having to go to Walmart.Giving it a 4 out of 5 stars. I need to call Corp. and get them involved more in the Hitchcock community.

We have shopped the Dollar Store probably more than 30 times in the last 6 months. 90% of the employees are pleasant and hard working - a few can try your patience. Also, they have less merchandise than many of the larger Dollar Stores, but, it is the only store in Hitchcock except for a convenience store (and another dollar store). They do have a tendency to leave large carts of merchandise blocking the aisles which can be frustrating as you can't get around them and have to turn your cart around. Even with these drawbacks, I still go in there every couple of days, so I still gave it 4 stars! Plus, it's a great place to pick up boxes!

Terriable...a transgender lady working the register...failed to realize I was using a foodstamp card..and obviously I was left standing there not being able to pop at for my things ...very embarrassing...had to leave my stuff there...not realizing till on my way home..that I had the funds on my card..and he/she thought it was a credit card...

Theyve had been big pot holes comming in to this store.so if you ruin your tires they will not helo u out.but they are now fixing the problem after ive ruined my tires.

The one here in hitchcock is good, just looks like they need alot of help stocking stuff boxes every where. The employees are very nice and helpful.

The store is ok. It used to be a huge mess but it seems like they cleared away most of the clutter. The checkers seem to gossip about customers a lot every time I come here.
