A model of what a well-run Walmart store looks like. ALL of the employees are cheerful, helpful, and the store is neat and orderly. Seeing the manager present and engaging with customers is a welcome sight. Other stores need to pay attention and step up their game.

Has anyone ever been forced to go to self checkout and had the pleasure of having the older half bald gentleman have to actually do a tiny bit of his job and get his nasty attitude and roll his eyes and act like it bends him 9 ways from Sunday to do the bare minimum?????? Had just been getting worse over the years with my last visit being on this past Sunday a employee working the online orders actually ran me over with her cart a didn’t even stop or turn around I had my 4 year old son with me that she came very close to hitting as well horrible going in there any more the employees take up the isles with all their carts cut u off and it’s one of my least favorite places to go I try to avoid it at all cost and to top it off they stop u at the door even if u go to a cashier instead of self checkout

You know for a Walmart the store is terrible and only like two or three employers know what they're doing and they're always out of merchandise and a lot of stuff doesn't work properly very disappointed in it the Walmart corporation needs to upgrade that store. Overall it's a shame to call that store a "super Walmart" ,I'm just saying.

You really can't go wrong here. It's a huge store that has nearly anything you could ever need or want to shop for. Everything from groceries, electronics, cosmetics, school supplies, auto accessories and everything in between. I usually get my groceries here. It's usually a decent shopping experience, and in the rare cases that I do need an employees assistance, they are usually very eager to help me locate what I'm seeking. I'd recommend it based on the fact that I haven't really had a bad experience at this location yet. I do recommend shopping here.

I did not like the tone that the clerk at the self checkout used. I was bagging my goods from using the scan and go feature on the mobile app only to be approached by them to say that I must weigh food items that were clearly sold as quantity. I don't like to call the racist card but as an Indigenous "Mexican" woman I felt targeted. Even after showing him my mobile receipt he was hesitant to allow me to continue to bag my items. I told him if he wasn't content with the receipt and how the scan and go feature worked then he should take it up with his manager or corporate. This was unacceptable, long story short I'll never use the scan and go feature again and allow myself to be humiliated again. As a multi-million dollar organization I suggest y'all better train your staff. P.s. I enjoy bagging at self checkout because I don't like certain items being together. I'm very particular when it comes to my bagging call me OCD.

I usually shop at Hillsboro Walmart because they never seem to have what I'm looking for. It is a clean store and employees are very nice.

There are a whole laundry list of problems with this store.First, the parking lot is in terrible condition most of the time as they let truckers park overnight/daylong, which creates some pretty substantial potholes.EDIT PENDING: The parking lot has been refinished for some time, but they keep letting truckers park on top of the newly laid asphalt for hours at a time. Not sure why they're going through this much effort and expense just to let semis ruin it all in no time.Second, even given Walmart's tendency to jump ahead on seasonal items, rotating stock weeks ahead of time, this store has a pretty bad track record for item consistency and consistent pricing. When smaller local stores in the area can carry things like soda at cheaper prices (while still paying competitive employee wages!) it's pretty bad.Third, they keep making excuses for why they still won't reopen the store 24/7 (e.g., they need to sanitize the store at night, even though they still won't enforce other COVID procedures like mask wearing or social distancing) when according to most of the employees I've talked to it's just because they don't want to get back to paying the overnight pay differential.Fourth, they recently blocked off ALL of the parking spaces closest to the store for Pickup orders. THIS IS ASININE, AS HARDLY ANYONE EVER USES THAT OVERPRICED WALMART+ SERVICE.Fifth, for as much as they seem to need employees to work the sales floor, there hardly being anyone to run the registers or work the sales floor, they seem to have an excess of supervisors and managers wandering around at any respective point throughout the day.As I said, there's a lot more problems here but that would take too long for a Google review.

It was very nice to be able to get everything that I needed as far as what I needed to buy. I was very disappointed that I was not able to make a return from an online purchase because the machine was broke down. As we know there is a time limit on when you have to have that back and I am hoping that their machine is up and running because it is a our drive for me to get to this Walmart and home.

Love the store and the employees to. Atmosphere is comfortable and customer service is great. Even the self check outs have dramatically improved. Nice store to shop in.

Since my last review, I would like to update. They don't sometimes have what I need at the time; however, I can order the product online to have it delivered to the store or directly to me. That is very helpful, along with the order and pickup. The scanners at the self-serve are a nice update. I wish the blue carry carts could be readily available.

I go to this Walmart reluctantly. This store does not have much of a selection. I haven't purchased meat from this store in years (the meat was bad). Fresh vegetables are a hit and miss, never consistent with freshness. If you are just looking for can goods or pantry staples you are probably safe. The employees need more customer service training. Just in general bad vibes.

This Walmart was pretty nice for the most part. The staff were very friendly and helpful, kind of hometown kind of feel; but they were out of stock on an item or two I was looking for. The produce was decent, too. Not the case at some locations... Overall had a better than average experience here compared to many Walmarts I've been too and I'm a long distance truck driver. So I've been to most of them.

This place could use some smarter people more honest employees. Recently had issue with automotive with not changing our oil filter and come to find out a customer in line behind us had same issue. Beware future customers check your vehicle to make sure they didn't lie to you also.

Changing my rating to 4 stars 🌟 I love that they have pick up now. Staff is always super friendly when I pick up my order....which I really appreciate. In my experience, all ot most food items I have gotten are fresh and good quality. I think there was only one time a spaghetti box looked like it had mold in it but i was unable to see it until it i opened it and it wasn't expired so there was no way for them to see it when they put it in for my order.

This is the worst Walmart EVER! The are always out of everyday use items...bottled water, tp, coffe creamer, vegetables, ect...I haven't seen mgmt on the floor managing yet. we saw pies in the bakery stocked sideways instead of flat recently. sad that the only Walmart in Hill co is run so poorly.
