Straightforward budget hotel with an indoor pool & a hot tub, plus free breakfast, parking & WiFi. This straightforward budget hotel off I-35 is a 3-minute drive from Hill College and a 7-minute drive from downtown. All rooms and suites (sleeping up to 6 guests) include en suite bathrooms and TVs with cable/satellite channels, plus minifridges, microwaves and coffeemakers. Some suites have whirlpool tubs. There's free WiFi in every room and kids 17 and under stay free with an adult. Complimentary continental breakfast is served in a relaxed dining area. Amenities include an indoor pool with a hot tub, a fitness center and a BBQ grill. There's also a business center and a meeting room, as well as free parking for large vehicles.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: Correct he understood the mistake at the time. Your company then reversed the return. I’m sure he was very rude you would be too if someone had taken $500 of your money. It is theft because my insurance paid you so there was no reason to cancel the pending return. We haven’t reported anything to you… why would we? We reported to the proper authorities. No one is trying to ruin your business man but you need to educate yourself on some things. Everyone is trying to tell you that in the reviews. Humble yourself and see that not everyone is against you and you need to change some things. Stop assuming everyone is a liar and self reflect. Look at my other reviews I rarely leave bad reviews because I know it’s important to people’s business. You brush people off then say they didn’t communicate when we tried to go to you first. You had attitude and said it wasn’t your problem.My bank can’t control YOUR COMPANY CANCELLING THE MONEY BEING RETURNED. This isn’t on your employees this is on you!DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. A tornado hit our home and our insurance paid for us to have two rooms at this hotel. The hotel needed our credit card for any possible damages. Which was fine BUT she ended up charging our card for the amount of the rooms instead of the insurance’s card. She instantly apologized and said she would reverse it. It has been a week and it was still pending on our credit card so we called capital one and she did reverse the payment at first BUT then CANCELLED THE REVERSAL after we checked out!! This was over $500!!! My insurance paid them I have the receipts. And we left those rooms clean we took videos before we left as our insurance advised to make sure they’re had no reason to charge our credit card. I’m sure I will be called a liar reading their other reviews. But we have all the proof and we will be taking legal action. DO NOT STAY HERE. As far as our stay it was okay they are very blunt and upfront and can come off rude. We didn’t take it to heart. The rooms were decently clean. Top floor did smell like marijuana but I know they can’t control every guest. Owner needs to do the right things and they wouldn’t have the negative reviews that they have. It’s never too late too change.

I was tired of listening to all the fussing going on at where I am renting..and I went to eat the weather had gotten worse there was a Super 8 right down the road from where I had dinner so I pulled in and got me a room for the night. So quite and peaceful. I woke up refreshed. Thank u..for ur hospitality when. It was needed. I will return.Sherry Kreiter

My husband decided to book a room here after 14+ hour day at work. That night I decided spontaneously to come stay with him since it was only 1 hour away. I brought our infant daughter along. As soon as we ( Husband, child and self) walked in- we were harassed by the staff they demanded to know if my child and myself would stay the night?! My husband said what did it matter if the room was paid for?! They said we had to pay an additional $10 for our infant. Which is not a problem the problem is the way they treated us and how they harassed us as if we were criminals. The lady literally stood in our way and wouldn’t move. It was crazy!Hope the $10 bucks were worth it because we will never use this hotel again. Very poor customer service!!!Response to owner-My husband NOT the company booked this room. Yes thru the app. He chose to give this hotel a try!! We were most definitely harassed and we were honest about me staying and that’s why he paid the additional fee, which AGAIN is not the issue. The issue is how it was handled!!! Never again!!!

I called ahead and they held my room for me.Great! We have stayed at this place on multiple occasions for the past several years. We always enjoy our stay for many reasons including nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms, affordability, and great amenities. We always enjoy the amazing indoor pool and the jacuzzi is also relaxing even in the summer. The breakfast is also nice especially since many other places don't serve anything at all even at higher rates. There are many places to eat also within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a affordable place to stay as it is is extremely clean, comfortable, and worth every dollar.

I very rarely leave a review on anything and If I do it is almost always a positive review but this stay was so bad I have to leave a review. The “non smoking” room had a very strong odor of smoke. The smoke detector was ripped off the ceiling and placed on a shelf in the closet. The toilet tank did not have any water going into it so it would not flush. After reading a lot of other reviews, I am sure I will be called a liar. I do however have video of the concerns other than the smoke smell.EDIT: As predicted, the owner has come back with a negative response on a concern. I didn’t voice the concern all day??!! I checked in between midnight and 1am after being on the road all day. That is why I only asked for a 50 percent refund. The room DID smell like a dirty ash tray. I went downstairs and when I returned I didn’t smell any smoke in the hallway but when I entered the room it was VERY bad!! As far as the toilet, I DIDN’T turn off the water!! I have used Wyndham for over 20 years and never had a stay like this one or seen a reply to reviews like this owner gives. I will be contacting Wyndham customer service and filing a official complaint about both items. I am sure the owner does not care but the company that his independent hotel represents needs to know what the real truth is.

This property is by far the cleanest and most beautiful Super 8 I have stayed at. Everything from the exterior, lobby, rooms and public areas are in great condition. I have had a great stay every time I come to Hillsboro and would highly recommend it over the pricier properties in town. The staff is extremely friendly, the breakfast is great and the pool and jacuzzi are great amenities to enjoy after a long drive. Thank you Super 8 Hillsboro!

Ive stayed at numerous super 8 all over. I always pay the standard pet fee of $20When I talked with the girl over the phone after I had booked online & couldn’t change my booking, she asked me how much my dog weighted. That determines the price??? I said does the extra weight affect the stability of the room? If it’s a shedding issue, lots of dogs don’t shed. I was charged $30 as my dog is 80 lbs. I could have told her anything, not once did she ever see my dog. Is there a dog scale?I’m totally fine to pay the standard pet fee as all other hotels, but never have I heard about a “ size” price! Will not stay again until I get an explanation that makes sense!I asked for the manager number. Wouldn’t give. I asked her to have manager call me, was also told that’s not something she could do!Why offer a “ breakfast”. Barely edible items avail. Very limited selection.Looked forward to hot tub. Of course that & pool out of order. Not disclosed when booking online

Pool is not accessible, although website didn't indicate that until I pointed it out. Hot Tub was accessible, but not clean. I stayed 2 nights, elevator trouble both days. Coffee pot in room had not been cleaned. Breakfast was pitiful. We had to ask for the waffle batter to be refilled, the milk to be refilled and the coffee to be refilled. Staff unprofessionally dressed. Wyndham needs to up its game at this facility.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help. I was there in town for my daughter's wedding. I had booked the 2 rooms with 3 queen beds in each room. The rooms where very big and that was awesome. The beds however are HORRIBLE. Extremely hard. Every guest woke unrested and in pain. There is an odor throughout the hotel and rooms. Not if it was the chemicals they use to clean or what.

Staff was very nice and helpful!! We came with our little dog who had never ridden in an elevator and by the time we left she loved the ride!! The room was spacious...the TV was huge but confusing and we did get to watch Yellowstone so that was a super plus! 4 stars BC the towels were rough very rough...all of them and the small bottle of shampoo was enough for 1 person and there was not shower soap, but luckily I thought to bring our items from home!! We did not eat the breakfast so cannot comment on that! They did recommend a pizza place that did deliver and it would recommend the pizza but that would be at .lacked flavor a lot! Overall for the price you get what you pay for and deal with it! Just prepare before you stop!!

Had a pretty decent experience here. Price was reasonable. Hotel desk clerk was nice and polite. Check in was simple, room was clean. Beds were pretty firm but hubby prefers it that way so it was fine. Desk clerk happily gave my hubby extra towels when he went down to ask for some. Breakfast was the typical diy texas shaped Waffles with plenty of butter and syrup provided Also could make toast. As well as hot and cold cereal with milk/juice/coffee etc. Best part is dogs are welcome for a small extra fee.

Not a bad place to stay. Large hotel large lobby large breakfast room. Room was adequate with a TV, fridge, ironing board and iron, all the essentials. Bed was comfortable. Ice machine on my floor. Look to be a pretty clean property walking through the Halls and using the elevator. I left before breakfast was served however I was told they're still doing just a basic Continental breakfast. Only hot item is waffles. The rest are cereals and bars. Still no eggs biscuits gravy sausage, etc. Very disappointing. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Gas station and convenience store right next door. Easy access on and off the highway. I recommend this location for your stay

We had a wonderful unexpected stay after having some trouble on the road and needed to stop for a few hours. Unfortunately I forgot to get her name, but the woman who helped me was absolutely amazing, she was so sweet and kind and welcoming! I can’t thank her enough.The room was very clean and well kept, and the price was so much cheaper than I expected, even staying with a pet. I’ve had my fair share of hotel horror stories during long travels, so let me say that I *highly* recommend this hotel to anyone stopping through!!

It's the newest package with the best new room I've enjoyed of Super 8 yet. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bring your own shampoo tho in case it's late when you realize housekeeping forgot to leave anything but one little hand bar.Super nice people/owners. And they're even bold enough to serve breakfast!!!

I called an ask how much room was and I got there confirmed who I was got all checked in w ID she gave me total and when she seen I was paying cash she said there would be a deposit, quickly she gave me new amount and the deposit was more than the room to rent. She stated since I didn't have a card there would be deposit. I needed a two night stay. So next morn I have to leave early for appt and told her I would be back to rent again when I got back she happily returned my deposit and said I didn't know if you were coming back or not so someone called an reserved that room so all I have is a double queen . I wish all you India would go back to your own country where you belong and treat your own people the way you treat us with no respect.

Something that looked like bodily fluids left on the blankets of both beds. Crunchy and stiff, not just a stain. Offered to move us rooms or replace the blankets, but not the full bedding because they are short staffed. All i wanted was the bedding replaced. We left and went to the holiday inn. Just couldn't trust the cleanliness of the beds after they refused to remake them. I was even asked if the fluid went through to the sheets as if the willingness to do a change hinged upon a yes. I was told multiple times that it was just her and the manager there but she could get me a new blanket. We had 3 interactions attempting to rectify the situation. All of which she was woefully undertrained for and her manager left her out to dry.

Very basic. Front desk not so friendly. We asked for a couple of forks she claim to only have spoons, she gave us 2 sounds from subway. There was only one soap bar and one shampoo, 2 towels. Reservation was set up for 2 adults 2 children. We asked for 2 shampoos and 2 towels the front desk questioned on why did we need them! My husband told her it's 4 of us in the room. She told him to wait and answered her ringing phone . Breakfast was bare and we had at 7am it consist of cereal toast and waffles, nothing savory all sugary, there was one banana that everyone skipped over. Smh. Just not what you expect from Wyndham hotel.

This place has a really nice appearance. The style of that of a more expensive hotel. The pool was nice. In our room, only 3/5 of the lights worked (one didn't even have a bulb). The a/c got REALLY cold! The second floor vending machines had signs that said that all of the drinks and snacks were only available at the front desk or three machine in the hotel entrance. We reserved a room for foot people and only got totals for three people. Staff was very nice and willing to chit chat. Breakfast bar was better than most hotels with the same options. This one had a protein source (scrambled eggs - +1 star just for that!). If it wasn't due to the towels and lamps, I would give this a 5-star rating.

It's the best motel I've ever been in, that costs less than $200 for 2 nights. Very clean and spacious room. The King Deluxe room I was in had a love seat that pulls out as another bed. There was a 2nd chair, coffee table, plenty of lamps, and outlets. There is even an indoor pool, which was open to a limited number of people at a time. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

As you will read in many reviews the pool is never open. They told me it was closed just the one night I was staying for maintenance. I asked why this wasn’t disclosed prior to check-in and requested a refund. Was told I couldn’t do that. Had to have Expedia get the refund from them since they flat out refused to do anything.
