Disneyland style gas station, because it's Texas. I can't even begin to list everything they have. Bbq place inside, great smoked brisket. Definitely a worthy stop if one is traveling, but they did have the highest price for gas out of the entire drive from Houston to Denver. One of the pump hoses didn't look safe. They did have actual windshield fluid and not just actual water, so that was nice as well!

THE perfect stop if you want to get gas before Wichita Falls. They are very welcoming the moment you walk inside! It’s a combination, Texas smokehouse, Pilot\Shell, Stuckeys, and Steak ‘n Shake, therefore, they’ve got everything you need! TONS of different drinks and nibbles for the road trip. Oh, and there are Tesla charging stations outside as well. They’ve really got it all, and the bathrooms are excellent!

AND a dinosaur parade???? What a fun surprise! Great smoked meats, fun souvenirs, clean restrooms. Definitely a new regular stop point. Husband had been nostalgic about Stuckies.

This is the nicest place I’ve ever charged my Tesla at. Trash cans at each end of 12 charging stations. They even have three little buckets to wash your windshield. Filled with good quality cleaner not watered down cheap junk.

It's a gas station with something extra! It's a neat stop on a long highway. The store is well laid out and welcoming. The smell coming from the barbecue is intoxicating. I only stopped for a drink and to see the awesome dinosaur display in their landscape. Actually, it was the dinosaurs that made me stop. I break for dinosaurs!

This bbq was really good!!! we have stopped by here a few times in our travels.However, if you can train your employees to be less miserable looking that would be great.We had to ask for our breadThe brisket had way too much fat (half of my serving was fat)And the ribs were cold Things, that if the employees cared about what they were serving, would not happen. I know it sucks having to work, but not the customers fault.Otherwise this is great bbq!!Additionally this store is amazing.There are so many Texas souvenirs you cannot find anywhere else.Love this place.

The best BBQ I ever enjoyed in a gas station for sure. Probably some of the best BBQ I have eaten on the road anywhere. Friendly and efficient counter staff. Tried the brisket and the pulled pork both are great. Coleslaw and rosemary potatoes are good.

Brisket dinner was very good, tender, great flavor and a nice spicy sauce. Would recommend Texas Best Smokehouse to all brisket lovers. Service was quick and very accommodating.

Driving past and needed to pull over and rest a little bit... I was so excited to find Texas Best Smokehouse at the Shell station! I've been to one in East Texas and I'll just tell you right now, wherever I find one, I'm stopping for their brisket! It was about 12 bucks to get a half pound brisket sandwich. You can get sides too but I chose not to this time. They've got wonderful stuff everywhere! Cowboy hats, Mexican blankets, various types of fudge, Cinnabons, stuffy- stuff everywhere! And outside they have some wood benches and swings and things! Oh my goodness! If you haven't been here you need to come!

Large, nice, clean stop for your road trip. Excellent BBQ, extensive convenience store, lots of indoor and outdoor decor, beer and wine, gas and diesel, Tesla charging stations, etc. The large wooden swings were pretty nice, with multiple different designs.

It was nice to have a hot meal on the road. The BBQ perfumes the air as soon as you open the door.. the store is well stocked and has nice clean restrooms. There is also a steak an shake at this location.

Best stop on 287! Ashley is always there to greet me and the guys with a smile. She makes it feel like I’m walking into a friends house! Always quick to jump on a register to make sure everyone gets taken care of too. They’ve got clean restrooms, good food, and plenty of fuel pumps and parking. We travel all over Texas for work and this place is by far one of the best places to stop in. I highly recommend y’all check it out!

This place is a must experience. We were just passing by and stopped for potty break and snacks. We decided to try the pulled pork sandwich and the 5 rack of beef ribs with sides. Simply delicious, we ended up getting a full meal for each of our 3 boys and ate there. Then we got a few more to go!! Best smoked bbq house ever!! The staff is super friendly and it's very well maintained and managed. The best gas store we have been at and we road trip a lot. They also have a Cinnabon! And we got a box and a couple of other goodies. Super excited they had this in there too.Seriously, if you're around stop by and have some amazing smoked bbq and delicious sides with great service.

We stopped in for dinner on our drive home to Colorado. I got the Double Barrel baked potato with chicken, and oh my goodness, the chicken was some of the best and most tender I have ever had! And the seasoning on the chicken was really tasty. The potato was delicious as well, with the perfect amount of melty butter slathered on it. Can’t wait to stop in again!

Just stopped for the first time at this travel stop and was so pleasantly surprised! If you are hungry on a road trip- this is the place to stop! They essentially have a food court on the inside with Steak N Shake, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, and a BBQ joint. They also have all the other standard gas station snack foods, sodas, and candies. They have super clean and large restrooms as well! Also, if you are a Tesla owner then they have about 10 different station for you to charge your vehicles.

Great place to get some really good bbq.!!! Staff is always as sweet as ever.!!! And they always take great care of my puppies.!!! (I get the brisket fat for my fur babies) my personal favorite is the jalapeño sausage, but everything I’ve ever eaten from there is absolutely delicious 🤤

The BBQ place is useless, I stopped stopping there around a year ago for breakfast cause everytime I would order a bkf burrito they said gotta wait 10 minutes for bacon. So my wife and I stopped this morning around 6am to get breakfast and they said they don't open until around 07:15. 07:15???! I guess they're not worried about the working man. So i won't ever stop again ever.

If you want to enjoy a shower, this is not the place. No hot water, dirty, unpleasant smell. We changed the shower, but the situation did not improve! The worker said she would clean up, but that didn't happen! Please avoid. The store itself is unusual, you can find a lot of interesting things.

Food is good BUT no one is in any hurry. Make sure you aren't in a rush.Steak N Shake and the BBQ stops were both very slow. They were also out of Babyback Ribs which seemed odd for a weekend.

The smell of Brisket smacks you in the face as soon as you walk in the truck stop!!! Absolutely one of the best B.B.Q. I have ever had. It was a bit late, but the gentleman and the young ladie behind the counter were very nice and professional.
