Enroute from Amarillo to Trophy Club Texas. This roadside diner popped up on Google Maps. The SE highway direction we were on , I don't recall any road sign indication the Diner was near other then we were on the lookout for it as we were driving and spotted it across on the other side of the split highway.Took the median road crossing the highway and glad we stopped !Was greeted as we entered the Diner and we both ordered the Pork Chops.They were cooked to perfection and delicious. Sides complimented the Pork very fine.Not certain there really was a rattler in the cage and wasn't going to get any closer .Worth the stop.

Stopped twice here on my way traveling through. I bought some good pickles, jerky, pork rinds, soda, Butter Pecan fudge and a frozen bacon wrapped 6oz filet steak medallion on my first visit. Came back for some more steak. Very well priced and delicious. Also, they were serving up St. Louis style ribs in the kitchen so tried those. Yummy!! Glad I went back. The coconut pie was good too. Don't just drive by this place. Make sure to stop. Lots of goodies to be had.

I love texas best,but every one I go to is different,this one is nothing like the ones in fort worth or dallas people are nice but don't really know the cuts of meat,and the sides were bad,asked for pound of brisket cut from the butt got the opposite..this place to expensive not to get orders correct..will not stop in Henrietta again👎

A favorite and tradition for many years. Every time business takes me through there I look forward to a hot link sandwich, fried peach pie, and root beer plus I load up on Turkey jerky, smoked cheese and hot links to take home. Not a big fan of the beef jerky but my wife likes it. The place has been run by the same family for many years. They have steaks and beef from their meat business. Parking is easy access for my Hotshot rig and Bobby always takes care of us.

Awesome (spot/hole in the wall) for good ole Texas barbecue! Friendly family oriented environment & the folks that work in this establishment are awesome as well!! The brisket is definitely worth the money for sure!!! Can't make everyone happy but y'all for sure made: my wife & I & 4 little ones that are very picky eaters very happy!!!!

Best beef jerky plus they remodeled. They now have a kitchen & dining area. Best chicken fried steak, home made onion rings, & okra I've had in years.Will I go back? Heck yes!

I definitely wouldn’t consider them the “best”. Friendly staff but they only offer 4 different flavors of jerky. We bought some and tasted it and it was ok, but doesn’t live up to the hype.

Love this place. Everything is so good. Homemade fudge and pies. Probably one of the best old fashioned, imperfect hamburgers I have ever eaten. Brisket sandwiches and hot link sandwiches to die for. My son is in a food coma from the Texas sized burrito that had brisket and pinto beans with salsa and cheese. So so good, plus they sell antiques. Already planning our next trip.

The absolute creamiest, best pecan fudge I've ever had. The lady working there was a sweetheart. The brisket sandwiches were good and priced reasonably and the shop was fun to look around. Will definitely be making a special trip for the fudge in the future. (And I live 5 hours away) lol A good place to stop and stretch your legs while traveling. I'm so glad we did!

Stopped on my way through from Dallas to Amarillo. Sweetest little lady running the place was very kind. She made me a deal I couldn't refuse on beef jerky and let my dog run around in their grassy area to stretch her legs. Loved the place, jerky and the kindness. Will be back when I'm traveling through.

The fudge is sooo good, the chocolate pecan is so creamy and melts in your mouth. We also tried German chocolate and butter pecan also very very good! The Beef jerkey has good flavor! Very nice service.

4 of us made the mistake of having chopped beef sandwiches. The meat was very tough and fatty. Teenagers would not eat. I was hungry enough to eat it but it definitely was not worth it. Took the leftover meat to our golden retriever and she literally would not eat it. What dog passes up meat? She normally doesn’t so concerned if she wouldn’t even eat it if my husband and I are going to end up sick from eating it.

We used to stop by at this shop whenever we went to Dallas from Fort Sill, Lawton. The lady there was very nice. We love the beef jerky. The beef jerky are the best. We missed eating those beef jerky now that we moved to Los Angeles. We are thinking about ordering online, but the shipping is so expensive😢 more expensive than the products.

My review is for the beef jerky only. After searching google for the best jerky I ran across this place. My usual is Whittington as there is no better beef jerky.For this place the beef jerky really has no flavor. I purchased the original and I am very disappointed considering all the good reviews.

Delicious, scratch made BBQ, sauce isn't necessary but an awesome compliment, will definitely be coming back.
