We lost tread on a trailer tire while going up US 287 on an Easter Sunday. We had no usable spare and wanted to get back on the road ASAP.I reached out to Skelton's Towing in Henrietta, TX and they could fix us up. The man with the money opted for something else, but I was impressed with Mr. Sketon's good nature and additional text messages suggesting the type of tire ply we would need when we did get replacement tires.The gentleman had no need to do this, yet his effort to help out even without a paying job is very commendable. I doubt if I'll ever be in the area again, but the fact that a decent, caring human being would go a few extra steps to help out some temporarily stranded travelers speaks well of the man and his business ethos.Thank you, sir!

We were stuck just South of Henrietta with a horse trailer with a broken hub and burnt up bearing Saturday evening. We had a 600 pound cow in the trailer and no way to have the hub replaced until the repair shops opened the following Monday. Cody came out to our location, rigged the trailer so we could continue our trip to New Mexico 650 miles away. I am extremely grateful for all Cody did for us. It is good to have that man on your side.

I use Skelton's Shop for all my vehicle repair needs. They are very trustworthy and extremely accommodating. I recently had a flat and needed a new set of tires, so I bought the tires from them. I needed to move to an all terrain tire, so they sent me details and price for 4 options along with Cody's recommendation for which one he thought would be best for me. They were very reasonably priced, so I went with them. They ordered them and put them on the next day. I had a bit of a time crunch that day, and they worked with me to make sure I got my car back when I needed it. They even delivered it to me, so I didn't have to get someone to take me to get it. I still had the jack and all of the parts of the handle laying in the back of my car, from when the tire was changed. They packed them all back up and put them back in the storage area where they are secured. They always go above and beyond the call of duty to make everything an easy process, and they know their stuff! I highly recommend Skelton's Shop!!

My boyfriend and I were driving home to Louisiana from Wichita Falls on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 and his truck breaks down in the middle of no where. We find Skeltons on google and thank goodness we did. Cody came and picked us up in his tow truck and took us to his shop. It was New Years weekend. He called some places but all were closed until Tuesday, since Monday was New Years! We had no idea where to go and we couldn’t spend a lot of money. So Cody got his wife to drive us about 20 to 25 miles to Witchita Falls to rent a hotel there for 3 nights. There was only 1 hotel near his shop and it was way too expensive. He even kept contact with us to let us know places were closed still on Monday. He even came to pick us up from our hotel on Tuesday at check out and brought us to his shop. He tracked down the parts that were needed and got the truck fixed in no time. His wife was also really nice too! They definitely made this experience much better than it would have if they didn’t offer to help us out with other stuff besides the truck. I don’t know of anyone else that would have helped the way they did. Thanks so much for everything you and your wife did for us! The truck works great too!!

My family and I were traveling on the Friday before Christmas to see other family in Utah. Suddenly our truck started whistling and rattling. After trying to locate and fix the problem ourselves, we stopped at Skelton’s for some professional help. While officially closed for the holiday, owner Clay and some other employees were there, and he graciously agreed to diagnose and fix our small problem. Less than an hour later, our truck was back in working order and we were on the road again. Clay and his staff were uncommonly friendly and exceptionally helpful to us travelers. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all the staff at Skelton’s!

I am extremely grateful to have found such a great place. I’m from Louisiana, and was heading back home. Well my trucks drive shaft broke, leaving me and my girlfriend on the side of the highway. New Year’s was just a day away. I was unfamiliar with the area, plus Nothing was open due to the holidays. Thank goodness I found Skelton’s Shop to call!Codey was very professional and friendly, he understood our situation right away and without hesitation was on top of helping me figure out what had to be done to get me back on the road, to Louisiana. Because nothing was open , I had no choice but wait until after New Year’s was over before finding the right parts for the fix. He gave us a ride to and from hotel, on top of him having to go to 3 different salvage yards and search for a drive shaft that would fit my truck. He did all that for a reasonable price I might add.If anyone is considering going with Skelton’s for their repairs and or need a vehicle towed I highly recommend SKELTON’S SHOP for your vehicle needs. Codey went out of his way a bit to help me. Take my word for it, Skelton’s is definitely the right choice to make.

This place saved us!! We got a flat tire on our travel trailer and we were completely stranded, having used our spare tire earlier in the day. They came and changed our tire on the side of the freeway and we were on our way within an hour and a half of calling them. Kind hard working group of people! Can’t speak highly enough of them. Our F-250 broke down fearing the worst (cp4 failure) at nearly 2am, we called and left a voicemail and before 3 it was slapped on a flatbed into town, started work on the truck as soon as they opened, and we are back on the road by closing time!(we didn’t have to have our entire fuel system replaced due to cp4 failure but it was still a lot of hours of work pulling the whole intake system out and back in. Oh yeah and they were short staffed). Somehow I got a ding in my car & something underneath was loosened. He had my car ready the next day & it looked perfect. He's not a 100% body man but you'd never know it. I'm picky when it comes to my vehicle. I had them rotate my tires and rebalance. They stripped one of the bolts and instead of fixing it they wanted to replace all and charge me more. It was a very bad experience.In response to your reply sir I did not "show up" at your shop months after this was done. I brought my vehicle back the next day because the locknut was missing. I have extra lug nuts in the key bag and an extra lock nut on my spare tire. After you lost your temper in front of me your son tried to put one of the extra ones on and discovered the bolt was stripped. I asked for the one bolt to be replaced and tried to explain to you that this had happened before and my husband fixed it about a year ago. You cut me off and put blame on him. Then you said you would replace all the bolts and put new lug nuts on for 150 of which I declined. When you brought it to me I asked how much I owed and you said "nothing". If you want to be paid for the lug nuts that I did not ask for or have them returned I will.I'm sorry I thought this was a place to post about your business not an attack on character. I stated my experience. Say what you will.
