This is the best Dairy Queen that my family has eaten at in years! We have eaten at this restaurant several times, lately. Their chicken baskets and Blizzards are outstanding! My husband loves the Belt Buster! My grandchildren love the burger kids meals! The restrooms are clean and stocked. The building is older, but it is clean. Occasionally, there is a fight to keep house flies out of the restaurant.

Drive there twice a week for lunch. The staff are great, but you are guaranteed to have a wait on Sunday when folks get out of church. One poor girl working the drive-through, one cooking, and one working the cash register, not enough with the lines of people. For example, I waited 45 minutes for my food last time there.

This is yesterday get home and surprise!!! The chicken was burn . 4 employee in the store and the cook by his self in the kitchen. You need to train better or do it you self ... and really is 0 star

Charged 1.08 to get onion rings instead of french fries because I don't care for their fries. The difference in the price of the fries is maybe 50 cents according to the sign. Asked to get pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar, they charged 1.98 for the pepper jack, which is ridiculous. Ordered my mother in law the three tacos with a drink , the tacos were broken, and she couldn't eat them. My wife and father had the fries, and they were cold and greasy, as well as my onion rings.Lessons learned DONT GO BACK. Food is bad and greasy, and tacos are broken and nasty. They overcharged for the substituted items after they say that they can substitute not telling you that they are changing you.I don't care to go back and don't plan on going back.

I have never been so insulted in my life. I treat my granddaughters to Dairy Queen at least once a week. When I asked about our food ( we had been waiting for over 30 minutes) they said what did you order? I said never mind give me my money back. Joyce said we are backed up. I said you should have told us. I will just go somewhere else. She said with a very nasty attitude do what you gotta do. With shock on my face she repeated it. We will never frequent this Dairy Queen again.

Ordered 2 chicken baskets. They came out super fast. That should have been my cue. All the chicken was old and over cooked. The fries were of the same quality and lukewarm. We ate what we could of the meal. I've always loved dairy queen. This is the worse food I've ever gotten from a dairy queen.

This is the best Dairy Queen I’ve ever been too. The guy at the window was super nice. Then the guy that brought the food out to us made sure we had everything we ordered. The food was cooked to perfection. If you happen to drive through Hemphill, TX and you’re stomach is ready for some food, this is a great place to stop. Two thumbs up!👍

Usually the staff is very friendly and the food is hot and correctly made. However, this trip they forgot the cheese on my burger even though she repeated it back to me and charged me for it. Also no one was smiling or even spoke to me beyond the basics.

Ordered a taco salad with the shell and it was the smallest shell and salad I have ever had I my life. The lettuce equaled up to about 1 cup. I am very serious. It would of been enough for my 8 year old granddaughter. I understand the prices have all gone up but to cut back on your sizes I don't understand. The last couple of times all they have had is tea and out of cokes. They could of told you before you pay for your drinks. It's just polite to let the people know. Asked them not to put cheese on the burger and what did they do, put cheese on the burger and even charged us for it. The chicken strips were overcooked and very hard for my 3 year old granddaughter to eat. She couldn't eat them. I love Dairy Queen but won't be back to this one. There's a couple of other place's to get lunch at. Martin's Korner is down the road along with a couple of other places.

The employees are great. But, they arent consistant. Chocolate shakes are either too chocolately and runny or not chocolate enuf and runny. The past few times my tacos were very soggy and shells were either stale or not cooked long enuf, they were hard to bite into. There is always something wrong with our orders-never had a perfect order when everything i ordered was hot, fresh or timely. Ive received the perfect shake one time but it had so little chocolate in it, that it was more vanilla. They really need to take time and clean the windows at the drive thru. All the greasy handprints are a turn off and makes the place look unclean. The manager needs to do a better job or just do it themself.

Just had lunch at Dairy Queen in Hemphill. There was a lady behind the counter named Joyce. She was so very sweet and personable. She really represents your company well.

I will not go back, horrible customer skills. They really need more intelligent people employed. I was told a price on the phone with my To Go order but charged more when I went to pick up my food. Was charged for something I didn't order and the Manager simply said too bad. I don't need this place at all.

Almost every time my wife gets a burger from this place, she usually asks to add bacon. They charge for it, but 9 out of 10 times don't add the bacon. So if they arent gonna add the bacon, they need to stop charging for it. Or get someone who can read the order completely. This is the only occasion our order has been wrong and it's not just about the bacon. But that's what happens when it's the only "fast food" place town within 45 minutes.

Ordered a hot fudge sundae. The woman who fixed it knew she didn't have enough fudge but still chose to give me my sundae with not even a tablespoon of fudge on it. She never said anything except that my total included a discount. LoL I didn't ask for a discount, I asked for a hot fudge sundae!! Store was old, run down & neglected.

My husband got the steak finger basket and it was horrible. There were so many flies I almost walked out. I could barely eat my food because of the flies.akes me want to puke just thinking that I actually ate about half of my chicken fingers. And why don't they have the little crispy French 🍟 they were so much better. Checker was bring out food, taking orders, and working drive through but my 2 stars were for her she was doing a great job.

This place is a joke. Every time I have been to the place, I either get someone who is either to dumb to understand how to put in my order the right way, or the cooks decided to make it their way. Also the wait and the attitude or be on intolabal. 25 minutes I just had to wait and they forget my bacon, ranch, and when I got my meal the mini blizzard was melted. 1/2 a star to no star. I almost tempted to see if they can even pass a health code check

I had a terrific taco salad on their Tex-Mex Tuesday. It was really busy so, I had a bit of a wait but that taco salad was so good, it was worth the wait. It was busy but the staff was friendly and attentive throughout.

My husband and I got 2 chicken strip baskets on our lunch break. The gravy was white water. And the fries were ice cold. Do not recommend the Hemphill Texas Dairy Queen.

In our little town DQ is really the only fast food. However when we travel my family looks foa a DQ. tonight #1 the cheese nurger was excellent. The fries could been fried a little longer but that didn't stop from eating all of them. Of course the employees are extra great.

Although it was pretty busy with lunch crowd all of the food was hot and fresh and served with a smile and "thank you, see you next time"Everything was delicious, I had the chicken strip basket and a sweet tea 🤤
