I wanted to share that we made a pit stop here (1/13/24) while traveling and the team leader (Jane?) was amazing. She was so sweet and checked up on us and our kids when we dined in. The team leader and cashier were nice and they delivered the food when it was ready. Wish we had more people like them in the city or suburbs. We would gladly become regular customers if they were near us.

One star is too many! Ordered two small cones to go-first I waited for ten minutes while no one acknowledged me. Girl took my order but made me wait while she took two orders after me. Once she finally finished with the other two orders she said she’d get my ice cream. Instead of making the cones she started working on a blizzard order……then she got my two cones-not even what I ordered. I didn’t even say anything I just took them and left. Will never go back. If you’re ever in Hondo Tx come to our DQ-clean & excellent service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm hard pressed to give less than 5 stars, but this was a disappointing experience. The customer service was ok, but it was the wait time that killed me. Between the order and the wait for the food I swear it was 20 minutes. I think the poor worker was there by themselves, but I couldn't tell from the drive through menu. Please don't set these employees up for failure.The fries were ok, but the chicken tenders were super crunchy and didn't have a lot of meat. I guess they've changed the tenders since the last time I went to DQ.If you're on the road, stop here if you need to. Otherwise, I would suggest you get food somewhere else.

Was headed home tonight and stopped in to grab a quick snack and my son needed to use the restroom. From the moment we ordered till the moment we left. The staff was EXCELLENT!Use to come here often with family as a kid. So glad to see employees trying to please customers. Our food great as well!

There was one employee running the place by herself. She was so cheerful. There were 5 orders inside and not sure how many in the drive thru. She cooked my order to perfection. You have one awesome employee.

I love DQ blizzards. Theirs was fine, but didn't have the correct ingredients. The place is also quite run down. Though it was already starting to look that way before, I believe the pandemic has not helped them thrive. I will continue to go there, though. I believe it is privately owned, and I aporeciate that they are trying to keep it going. And they are super friendly!

This is a nice little place and the staff is friendly. We got the Steak finger basket. The gravy was EXTREMELY watered down and we only got maybe ten friend fries in the basket. We normally love Dairy Queen, but the food quality was lacking.Overall clean place and nice people, just need a little recipe/portion tweaking. ☺️

Ordered hotdog, sundae and steak finger basket. Checked out hot dog to make sure was correct...looked old, dried out and just plain nasty ..sent it back...they bring another one (about 10 mins later). I swear same hot dog they just added more cheese to cover it up...said screw it, we will share steak fingers. Ha, those and the fries were absolutely disgusting...tasted like old grease that had been setting up a while. Put the box in back seat and the dog ate it. The hot dog, untouched is on my table and will be tossed. We waited 30 mins for food that was absolutely not edible. The sundae was good so I guess that warrants the one star these reviews force upon us when we would really like to put zero stars. We were passing thru and by the time we dealt with returning the hot dog and "new one" was no better I decided write off the $16 and just post a review and vow to never go there again.

This DQ location is run terribly. My wife and I and our two kids stopped there at like 7pm last Sunday on our way home from Alabama. The 2 people working there had already turned off some of the cooking equipment so that we couldn’t get some items. I ordered the steak finger basket, my wife ordered the same, and my kids each ordered cheeseburger baskets. After waiting for about 15 minutes, one of the employees came out and told me that they didn’t have gravy for mine or my wife’s meal because he had already turned the gravy machine off and wouldn’t be able to restart it without taking like half an hour. Our food came out like 10 minutes later (keep in mind we are the only people in there, so there wasn’t a lot of orders to slow anything down) and all of our fries were cold and soggy. After almost half an hour of waiting he had the nerve to bring us cold and soggy fries. My toast was not toasted, nor was it buttered. It was just a piece of bread. I asked him to toast it and he informed me that he had already turned the toaster off and that he wasn’t going to be able to turn it back on. He then took the bread from me and came back with it like 5 minutes later with some toasting on it, and it looked like he had smashed it and torn it up in the process. Not sure how it was partially toasted. He acted like we were inconveniencing him by being there. Worst DQ I’ve ever been to by far.

Dairy queen will always have the best ice cream. Now I will say that some days my burger is fresh and somedays it's not. Staff is always nice though. Best place to get a nice treat with your family..

Went there today 4/16/2020. Ordered nachos and the sauce was like water, literally. They must not be able to supply real nacho sauce, it also tasted terrible. The only thing that was good was the Blizzard. The employee at the window was nice though..

Best fast food locally in Hearne. Even at a slow time of day, 2-4, your meal is still fresh and good. The workers are always nice and keep the place clean!

10/12/2020. The ladies that work there are nice but the food was awful the chili on the Coney was cold and greasy tater tots was cooked to long. Also ordered a cheeseburger with mayo pickles and onion only. It just had pickles and onions no mayo. French fries was soggy

It is so delicious and freshly cooked. I loved my belt buster with jalapeños and bacon added to it. And the service was great and welcoming store was clean as well

Both of the dairy Queens in Calvert Texas and Hearne Texas were just outstanding sometimes a little slow because the short-handed but the food was just good ice cream was served well in the one in Hearne Texas employees were always kind and courteous same for Calvert

Food was great and I love a good blizzard. But there was one problem. After a long wait for our food I walked up to the counter to see what was taking so long. The staff was playing on their phones and our food was sitting in the server window behind the counter.

Took too long, burger was burnt & they forgot part of the meal & didn't even try to fix it. We had to go check on it, they forgot & told us another 10 min. Everyone else was finished so we canceled the missing items and left. No apologies we had to ask for our money back. Saw several other look unhappy as well.If your a local and friends with counter staff you get extra special treatment while they ignore travelers and others orders. We will NEVER go back here and suggest you find another city to eat in or stop at the grocery store or convenient store.

Nope. Never coming back here. Service was absolutely terrible. The kitchen area and counter workers seemed very disorganized. Lots of orders get put in the system, and then you wait. And wait. And wait. My food was good, but being there was not fun. You could see the feel of dread on all of the customers as we all waited and watched the circus behind the counter.

Staff were welcoming as soon as we stepped foot in the door. Helped me and my husband with menu choices and wished us safe travels. We will be making this DQ a stopping point next time we travel

After a long wait and watching the server treat another customer with bad service, I I tried to place an order for my son and myself. While placing the order I noticed one of the employees chewing on a straw and two others wondering about. At the store director refused at Dairy Queen coupon purchased at a nearby Dairy Queen. Upon seeing that she would not honor a no kid hungry coupon I chose to leave. Floors were dirty and counters were greasy I would not recommend visiting this DQ, but highly recommend visiting of the Franklin Dairy Queen just a few minutes down the road instead.

Saw 1 guy worker goofing off and eating ice cream w his friends (non coworkers). Long wait.. gave up waiting inside so I went outside to drive thru waited again at her request.. waited too long and had to leave.

Just came in here and my grandmother in law was treated rudely! She ordered 4 meals and got her four drinks and realized she only got three burgers, so she went up with a receipt to show shes missing a burger and fries and they took her receipt and walked away whispering and then the cook took her receipt and ran off and the cashier said oh I only rang you up for three! Horrible! I hope you sleep well at night with your lies! Dont come here if you dont want to be scammed
