Absolutely amazing with our 31lb. pup! They have been caring for him since we got him at 5 mths old. They neutered him at almost 7 mths old, and we've had zero problems with the procedure/healing. We recently had them board him for 4 days/3 nights and he seemed to do very well. They had him well bathed for us upon arrival to pick him up, and he seems his normal playful active self. Everyone there is always so friendly, and patient with us with we call or bring him in. He never seems anxious or nervous when we visit, he always goes in there happy like he's visiting friends!

Dr. Hobbs was great. Not the "friendliest" vet that I have ever been to, but VERY knowledgeable and explains complicated issues so that a layman can understand. I completely understand and appreciate that some people are "all business". Plus, this is the first time she has met us.I have a reactive dog (only reactive to other dogs, is a cuddle baby with all humans), but I explained this when I made the appointment. They were SO kind! They had me call when I got there and came out to get me to come in a side door. I so appreciated their willingness to work with me!Everyone from the front office staff, to the techs, to the doctor, were kind, professional, and empathetic. I will DEFINITELY be using this clinic as my vet from now on.

Excellent Veterinarian! Very experienced and knew just what to do. They got us in on an emergency as my cat was bit twice by a snake. The treatment worked great and it’s been a week and he’s running and jumping again. Thank you! Will definitely be returning for any pet care needs.

Dr. Hobbs and her clinic are the best. She is kind, caring, and the smartest, most talented veterinarian. She has literally been a lifesaver to our large group of animals that we have. Our family dog roxxane(bloodhound)got hit by a car and broke her leg badly . She has been a patient there since we got her. they took really good care of her and made sure she was comfortable and as pain free as possible ! They were able to do x Rays and find out what injuries she had very quickly after controlling her pain. we ended up having to get her leg amputated thanks to to everyone there she is back home and recovering . I highly recommend them they are highly professional and courteous

For a business to claim they are an Emergency Clinic they seem to. It understand the terminology very well. I am appalled by the way my pets needs were just ignored and treated as if her being sick form a toxin wasn’t anything they wanted to deal with. I just was told by the Vet Tech that they couldn’t see my puppy who is sick because they have 1 more patient to see today and couldn’t get me in. Ummm they close in 2 hours. And their website claims…… “welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients”. Well they don’t. I was told to go to Tyler for vet care that they are not an emergency vet clinic. So folks don’t waist your time here.

6 months ago they neutered two sugar gliders for us and they've been doing great. Helpful staff and was easy to get in on a short notice.

A huge thank you to the entire crew this place is not what I expected. Not once did my dogs shake walking in. I have nervous dogs. My dogs are fine and happy not what I was expecting. Nothing is what I was expecting. It was an experience that I was part of the family and the best part I got to stay with my babies all the way through they never took them any where out of site. Thank you so much for caring for Kati & Graci both are happy and not having any side affects or seizures my biggest concern and having reactions to being vaccinated. They are eating and drinking. Thank you again

I just want to share that I was completely happy with this place when I brought my bun here. Dr. Hobbs was great at taking care of my bunny until we realized there was nothing else to do for him. I still appreciate everything she did for him even when she had the most hectic days. I'm just saddened that I lost my friend of 12 years. I would definitely recommend this veterinarian. They will take good care of your fur babies!

She has only been caring and compassionate with great knowledge to share and teach. This has been the best vet I have had over the years. I am blessed to have her in the neighborhood. Everyone working in this place is caring and compassionate. Dr.Hobbs is very thorough.They don't just leave. Emergency vet number on weekends but the Dr leave her cell number so she can be reached if her patients are in need.I would recommend this place to anyone.

I didn't actually visit this place, but my dog did... she was rescued by a very sweet lady and taken here to be scanned for a chip. Thank God for microchips. The vet was helpful in obtaining the much needed information for me to be able to be reunited with my very loved dog, Bella. I'm not sure of the costs of the services rendered to my dog, but would very much like to be able to at least pay it forward some kind of way. I am truly grateful for kind people in this world. Thank you Hawkins Pet and Exotic Animals...for just being the great people that you are!

I was very impressed with Dr. Hobbs and her staff. Our rabbit was very sick and we couldn't find anyone on short notice, and a saturday. She took her time to give him a thorough exam and really put us at ease. I cannot express how grateful I am, because I truly do not think he would have survived through the weekend. Would definitely recommend them.

2017 review. Personal care at very reasonable prices.Update 2021, a year ago my dog got very sick on a Friday and we called to get her in. They said they couldn't see her and to either wait til Monday or drive to a vet in Longview. Since that experience we now take her elsewhere. This was a 5 star rating til this happened.

We have taken all of our animals to Dr. Hobbs and her staff for years. They are amazing., and I highly recommend them! Just an example of their level of customer service: We bought comfortis for our cats (flea pills), but it didn't work completely. I called and spoke with the gentleman at the office, who told me he could give me another flea med, if I would just pay the difference. Awesome customer service!! Thanks for always going above and beyond!

I will not use any other vet again. Dr. Hobbs and her staff care so much about our furbabies. But they care about us too. They are the best. They do everything they can do to help the animal and to keep them happy and comfortable. They're compassionate, honest, friendly and such a blessing from God. I will Never go anywhere else.

I asked them if I could bring my puppy in for shots. They said not until 4 months. I scheduled the appointment and got the shots and my dog died the next day. Then she said I should have gotten shots every 6 weeks. Do not bring your pets here.

My bengal cats and kittens have always received excellent care at this office. The Dr. is the best in my opinion, very caring, friendly and professional. Great staff and reasonable prices, makes this one of the very places you can go to and still walk out with something left in your pockets! Love these people! A++++

I've used Dr Hobbs several times when I'm in town. She recently did a pretty complicated surgery on my chihuahua. Dr. Hobbs was very good about explaining the procedure and the after care. After having pets for many years - I found Dr. Hobbs to have done excellent work...the incisions and stitches are very neat and clean. I would recommend her clinic to anyone in the area looking for a very hospitable knowledgeable vet.

Our daughter has several exotic pets. Her bunny needed to be spayed. Our pet was treated kindly and the vet took time to explaun the procedure to our daughter and give her post operative instructions. This vet is wonderful and we are Blessed to have such a vet in this community.
