I went to return an item, and customer service was closed.. Apparently, they closed down for lunch.. Umm, wth!! Poor management.. You have 20 people working at one time and no one at customer service. So I ended up going to register 8 for a refund and to purchase my new item. The cashier seemed like she did not want to do it.

Already several items we either have to go 45 miles to get for what we need or order from Amazon. Again today same thing! I needed stencil ease for our wood work so there is no sticky residue that ruins the piece. Of course they didn’t have it so I tried the junk they had in the craft isle which was around $10.00. It left so much residue it almost tore my most expensive stencil and ruined the whole piece smh! I refuse to give Walmart any more business. We will just order what is needed or make the trip to Victoria

I asked about an item in aisle FT4. I couldn’t find the aisle, we are out of state, I was told “I don’t know.” And the cashier walked away. I’ve never seen any employee of Walmart so unhelpful and rude!

Solid store, everything was clean and organized. The store smelled fresh and clean. It wasn't busy, and there were plenty of registers open. Found what I needed and was able to check out even faster at the service desk.

It reminds me of the Walmarts they had when I was a kid its awesome bc it's exactly the size it needs to be for this little town and also big enough for this town to make it kinda be the small place but packed with everything Walmart heb, brookshire brother's, oriellys, AutoZone dollar general, sonic, subway, Taco Bell Popeyes pizza hut dominoes, mc Donald's, Jack in the box whataburger, not to mention the lil hometown resteraunts Blake's schobbels, taos, dairy cone, so it's packed with so much stuff and the eating is amazing got everything within like 3-5 miles which I absolutely adored being here bc it's little town that has everything, people are usually super friendly, jobs seem to be available, and the living isnt to expensive atleast yet! And ur 40-45 min to Houston, and hr to Austin, and 2.5 hrs to san Antonio, 1 hr to Victoria, hell San Marcos is an 1hr 10 min .. My favorite place to be so far has had to be in Columbus Tx...

Normally, I am fairly happy with Walmart. I’ve gone to the Hallettsville Walmart several times and been satisfied service. However, today I went in to get some paint earlier in the day. I have been in and ask about some paint that was on clearance and if I could still a get it tinted, and I was told yes, I had appointment so after my appointment I came back and picked up 3 gallons of paint went back to the paint department wasn’t anybody around so I asked someone to page for some assistance in paints which they did then after about 10 or 15 minutes I ask if they would please page again for assistance in paint. After the third time that I had ask by this time quite some time had passed, I actually called to the store told them that I was in paint needing assistance and if they could please get someone over there I was sure they have someone over there shortly after between 45 minutes and an hour I called again this time. The lady who answered I asked for a manager, lady, who answered the phone, informed me that she was a manager over the cashiers and something else I told her that I was in paints in needed assistance, and that I had been calling for it for several times a bit over 45 minutes trying to get assistance . She then asked me if I needed the paint tinted. I told her yes I did. She advised me that their machine was broken. I brought it to her attention that I had been sitting there for over 45 minutes had paged numerous times and no one had ever showed up and that earlier in the day when I asked, they seem to indicate there wasn’t a problem I’m getting the paint tinted . She told me she didn’t know how many people knew that the machine was broken but if I wanted her to send somebody paint she can go ahead, but if I want it tinting the machine was broke. I think she was missing the entire point of the fact that no one came to paints to assist me in between 45 minutes in an hour either to say, do you need tinting our machine is broke what can I help you with? Very very poor service and very poor response from someone who is supposed to be a manager.

They put single items in the bags so we had like 6 bags which 3 would have been enough in doing so one of the items we purchase was left on the carousel it was not a cheap item either noticed it was missing when we arrive to our campground when I could not find it to far to go back and get it it was an hour away, stop using so many bags for one or two items it gets lost on the carousel when 3 bags would have sufficed.

food prices are going up like everyone else, can't find things as they moved everything in new places and not much of things stocked like lance crackers and aisles are too narrow and lines are too long for seniors to stand a long time without sitting down. I get tired when I go shopping there.

I hate Walmarts in big cities. But this Walmart was surprisingly good. Everything you need but clean and not over crowded. People were very friendly.

Parked overnight in my RV. Called the store before hand and they were very welcoming. They just asked that I parked near the highway as to not take up parking near the store entrance. Bought some breakfast.

This store could be improved many ways. First is the excessive amount of parking spaces reserved for curbside pickup, which I never see anyone using, and certainly not six or eight cars at a time which is way more than this small town would ever use anyway. Regular customers, many of whom in this town are elderly or worn out by a hard agricultural life, have to walk much farther than necessary to get into the store itself........where they must invariably wait in absurdly long check out lines with rarely more than two cashiers being on duty out of eight or ten cashier stations. To their credit they will often open an extra register to alleviate the crowd, after many customers (elderly, worn out hard working folks) have been kept waiting way too long. Anytime I need something from Wal Mart, I drive miles out of my way not to have to patronize this store.

I have never dealt with a pharmacy as consistently pleasant as the Walmart pharmacy in Hallettsville, Texas. I really don’t understand why personnel at other pharmacies are so short and standoffish but they could certainly take some pointers from this location

Highly disrespectful customer service, Rin in there asset protection was very unprofessional. Has no customer service skills. No resolution skills, and could care less about the issues caused by the miss guided staff.The customer service booth at this location has no consistency in how they deal with online pricing. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere. They can’t even match there own online pricing. Called multiple times to speak to leader ship at this location and was rerouted to the same individual, Rin!!!

Very good for a hometown Walmart. Obviosly won't have everything, but they do a great job offering things they do carry at a great price. Employees are helpful and friendly. I shop here often.1/6/22 our hometown Walmart now is offering pick service. Masks not required, but still recommended.8/28/23 Everything has been rearranged in the food aisle section and more items are being offered.

Bought a new tv 1 month and 3 weeks ago. The sound stopped working. I took it back to exchange but customer service said all electronics are only covered for 30 days!NOW I KNOW WHY THEY TRY TO SELL YOU THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AT THE CHECKOUT! I'LL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELECTRONIC FROM WALMART AGAIN! If there products can't last more than a month that's really bad for the consumer.
