Could this place get any worse?We have been eating here for years, but in the last year, there has been a steady decline. Today was the culmination of that decline.The floors were absolutely filthy. The floors looked as if they havent been mopped or cleaned in a month. When you walked across the dining area, your feet stuck to the floor. The tables were horrible. Stuck on food on many of them. And some of the benches for the booths felt like they were coated in glue they were so sticky.The soda machine, again, was out of Dr Pepper and several other drinks, and the tea dispensers were once again, EMPTY!!After finally finding a clean table, it took over 25 minutes to get food. We were getting up to ask for our money back when our food finally arrived.My sons burger was cold and soggy, as were the fries. My Jalitos Ranch burger was cold, soggy ( the bun fell apart when I picked it up) and drowning in sauce. The fries, alas, were cold and nasty as well.At this point, we were done.We'll not be returning. DQ in Hallettsville has finally hit rock bottom. We miss the old days when this was a great place to eat,Hopefully, the owners will read this and get this placed cleaned up.

This once was a great DQ. Lost manager, Lindsay, and it's not been the same..I ordered Tacos, tasted like plain hamburger meat and was maybe a teaspoon of ingredients per taco. Terrible!

Wonderful place to eat, the staff is friendly and the staff can be funny. It's always good to see them feeling happy about their place of work. The atmosphere is amazing. The inside is almost always clean and the food is fast and delicious. It's good to see familiar people in a work environment especially as a customer. 5 stars all the way! Thanks DQ!!! 💜Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and the parking lot is flat, wonderful way to help.

I stopped here for lunch on Sunday around 11:45 on my way further south. A customer came and opened the door for me as I used my two canes to walk in and use the bathroom, which was nice and clean. There were children deciding on an order at the counter so I returned to my car and pulled up to the drive through, and the sweet lady gave me a senior discount and got my meal out very quickly. Nice place, attracts nice customers and provides good food and good service!

Note to owner. Do you know your employees are closing the store and sending everyone through the drive thru claiming they are short staff? The funny thing is that even though they claimed to be short staff they guy spend more time on the phone outside that actually working and helping customers. You lost a lot of business today. While I was waiting maybe 20 mins or so, I saw more than 30 cars leave the place.

This is the worst dairy queen I have ever been to. They are always closing early like this past Saturday the family and I decided we were going to get some blizzards after dinner. It was only 7 pm and the lights were off, but the staff was inside and laughing at us when we went to the drive thru unaware they were closed. Then a few days later I was driving by around 8pm on a Monday and they were closed again. When they are open the service is ok at best but don't think about using the restroom in that place.

What a NIGHTMARE! Place was filthy, women’s restroom out, no drinks in machine, no tea and wouldn’t make it (I could see boxes so they weren’t out)Then I get chicken on my salad that was hard as a BRICK (and they cut that so they knew) and the GM made it. Then an elderly couple came in, ordered drinks, and never offered to get from the drive thru knowing the front was out. I had to tell the couple. Then, they completely ignored her as she stood up there waiting 10 min! All while the Gm is just walking around on his phone. This place needs to just shut down already. I used to manage This place and it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see the lack of care.

Billy Bob was hungry last night and billy bob arrived at the Dairy Queen at 6:30 PM and they are supposed to close at 8:00 PM. The doors were locked and the drivethru was closed. Them children were horsin' around playin grab butt with the store closed down early. Sounds like one of them franchise suspensions is coming up soon from corporate.

If you are looking for quick service or fast food. This is not the place to go. Now, if you aren't in any kind of hurry. It may be your place. If they don’t run you off from the dinning area during business hours. As you are trying to come into the building. Which is what happened the last time our family tried to eat here. The manager’s daughter said. “I am trying to close the dining area. You are welcome to go through the drive through.”I have work here in the past for over 4 years. I can honestly say. This place is not ran well at all. Most of the time the workers are in no hurry to provide quality service. It’s rare to find good help around here. Good luck, if you decide to give it a try.

The service is terrible. I tried calling in an order and they never answered the phone. When I confronted the mgr about it she said we're to busy. I said to her a customer on the phone is just as important as the drive thru and at the counter. I reported it to thier corporate office who called and asked them why they didn't answer. The mgr stated they had a bus there at 7 pm which I told her I was there at 940 pm and there was no bus there. Instead of telling the truth she twisted her lie to make it the reason why they never answered the phone. Corporate stated that the store is very high in sales and is a profitable store. I told her because nothing is open past 9pm in this small town and they're the only ones open on Sundays. Of course nothing was done to rectiy the issue and others have told me the same thing trying to order over the phone is nearly impossible. I'm from Houston and Dairy Queen I used to go to was way busier than Yoakum and the wait time was about 5-8 minutes not 40 minutes. But I guess it comes down to management if u don't know how to schedule and utilize employees and know when ur busy times are it's never going to change. So I guess it's never going to change and they'll never answer the phone and pay for cold food that u 40 min for.

I waited twenty minutes for my food. People who ordered after me got their food first. All I ordered was 2 burgers, fries and an order was nachos. When I finally got my food, the burgers were ice cold and the patties were hard and cold, cheese not melted at all. My husband wouldn't even eat his food, because as he was sitting in our vehicle waiting for our food, one of the employees was standing at the counter with her hands in her mouth chewing her nails. We ended up.just throwing the food away. Terrible service.

Was there about 8pm on a Sunday night. Waitress had a pretty bad attitude and would hardly talk when I placed my order, only nod. I know the industry can be overwhelming at times, but there were only five people in the place, so no need to be so offputting. I received my order and it wasn't right. At least they did correct my order and the food was good.

We went in for a blizzard it was good but it took quite a while the staff was not in the best kind of mood or interaction with people and the place has a very high turnover rate cuz every couple months on seeing new entire crews in there. Doesnt matter if they are busy or slow, food takes forever to get to you. It's worse than waiting at a diner

Who and where is the owner/operator of this DQ? You should be ashamed of yourself. If you don't want to keep it up or take care of it, then freaking get rid of it. You are horrible. With the Sonic closed you should be able to make money and pay your employees enough to care about the stores cleanliness, quality of the food, etc. At the very least serve warm food.Come on man, do better.

Whole family got sick after eating here!Ordered taco salad no meat! Came with meat and when asked to change the salad, they tried to pick out chicken pieces and served the same salad again. While eating, found some chicken pieces they missed to pick out from the salad.
