I have come to this MB for over 10 years now on Sunday mornings to do my shopping and to get my breakfast from the deli. Always the best experience until today when the "deli supervisor " was working the breakfast counter and was rude and disrespectful and acted as if i didn't even exist and wasn't standing there to get some breakfast. Just looked at me and walked off to the back and talked to the other lady while both just standing there looking at me. Didn't say a word. All the people who work in there have always been great ! Nice and respectful and always helpful. I don't understand why the supervisor doesn't treat the customers the same as the others do around there. Makes me not want to ever come back!

They have a great team of trained staff members. When I need assistance locating an item, almost any employee is able to guide me to the correct location. With their new rewards system, it's even better, you get coupons online and special pricing on select items in the store. Some are even free when you use your points.

I wasn't actually shopping at Market Basket I was in there getting a rx filled from Bruce's Pharmacy which is located inside the Market Basket. However, while I was burning time waiting for my rx to be ready I noticed that Market Basket had several items that you prob won't find or find in stock anywhere else. For example, my favorite Body Armor flavor is Blue Raspberry & it's pretty hard to find most of the time but Market Basket has plenty of them along with any other flavor you can possibly want. I like the fact that you can also purchase single air filters & they always have my size in stock. Also, finally found some Aloe Vera sunburn spray that I looked for at a few other places that didn't carry it but I found it very at Market Basket.

I stopped in while visiting from out of town. I didn't have a loyalty card and asked about using someone else's card. The checker, Sugar, refused to let me use any other persons card and stated it was against the rules. She was very rude. Not a good way to represent her employer. I visit often but her rudeness cost the store a customer.

I've grown up coming to Bruce's since before I can even remember. They have always had wonderful customer service and their pharmacy staff is great as well. The deli staff and food are also flawless. What can I say? I love my Bruce's Market Basket!! Thanks guys for making going to the grocery store such a pleasant experience!

My relatives live in Groves, and I come to visit from St. Louis. We shop at Bruce's while I'm there, and I just love this store. The employees are friendly and every dept. always looks very clean. I love the convenience of the store with ample parking. The bakery has yummy food too!!

This store is always clean and orderly. I especially love their produce section. The clerks are always courteous and professional.They had water and allowed me to take 3 cases. Bravo!

Great family store .neat clean organized. The meat is so fresh your mouth salivated when you walk by and see it. And where else can you get a 59 cent money order on Sunday. Check them out you won't be displeased.

The produce was very neatly organized and the fruits/vegetables looked awesome. The staff were courteous and the manager was very helpful & polite. I enjoyed my shopping experience. I absolutely love the Groves. Tx location.

Walked to get a shopping basket but for some reason it would not close. I walked over to this little booth where three employees were sitting. I was ignored at first, so I knocked on the window, although they could see me walk up. Finally, I asked whether either one of them could help me with closing the shopping basket? The younger looking Male exhaled as if I was bothering him but he did come to assist. I politely talked to him and not once did he uttered one word. Finally he said, it's broke. I would have rated the store a five but with the reaction I got from the three employees, I really should have just left the store. I am not a market basket every day shopper and after today I probably won't become a regular shopper, although I just moved to the neighborhood and can literally walk there. The cashier was pleasant.

Please don't change anything. "Some" cashier's (Mainly young girls) doesn't have enough training in Customer Service but I can tolerate their slick rudeness because of the management and products this store sell. I love it.

*Update* Nearly one year ago I visited this store as I annually do when I come in for the holidays and it needed much attention.. but oh how they have changed in a year!I was in recently on my annual trip and needed to stock up on all great Cajun products and meats.. and low and behold.. the revamp of the store was completed.The store front has a new modern face lift that will be bound to survive the next seasons hurricanes. The parking lot lights and area are well lit and open. The overall front area of the store has a great inviting presence.As you enter the store, they have changed the lighting and the walking flow so that you can easily get what you need without clutter and they used clearly posted signs and markings for specials.As to the classic memory of the store, they have kept all of the check out stations just as you have always known them. The baskets as well and the Managers station is still elevated and visible by everyone.. so you know where to find them if you need to.The meat counter area is brightly lit and always providing fresh choice cuts.Overall, the service has improved as well. I simply walked down any aisle and I was always greeted and directed to where I needed to find something. Sometimes, the best stores have the best employees.. and this is a family heritage that covers every generation.Bruce's is a neighborhood staple. It has survived and updated with the times. I am pleased that they finally were able to complete the renovations and stay off the weather of time and be around for future generations.

Great people, a little expensive compared to others, but real good peoole :) Products? Be Careful, about 1/3 of the Food There Is Expired And I'd Recommend Just Checking The Dates Before Selecting That Product For Purchase.

If I can give it less than 1 star I would give it negative 50...told one thing on phone, excusing made not to help me at courtesy both and postings which listed different than the excuse used not to help me.....I never experienced what I experienced during that visit...lost my trust forever and will share with others as well. There are other options than Bruces Market Basket to spend my hard earned money. I am only one man, but a man that will only shop Bruce's market basket as an absolute final need, last resort.

The staff is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. They are always happy to help. I'm giving Market Basket 2 stars because so many of the items on their shelves are frequently expired and the produce is often poor quality. I've shopped there often and on multiple trips came home to find that the tortillas were expired by 2 months, ice cream that had been expired 4 months, even grape juice was expired over a year! A big cupcake bought as a gift was hard as a rock, even a phonebook couldn't squish it. Yesterday we went and found spoiled cherries and the bananas we bought were rotten on the inside!

Great grocery store that has some things there that you can't find anywhere else except in south Louisiana maybe. Nice friendly folks make it a great place to shop for groceries. I highly recommend their green onion sausage.

I found Market Basket to inviting. People were nice and pleasant. But I think if they had more sales. They wouldn't be able to keep food on the shelves. Just my opinion. Food for thought

I grew up using Market Basket I was probably four or five when mr. Thompson about that store in groves on Lincoln. I have always used Market Basket and I always will they take care of me just as if he was still alive. I miss the boss.

Great for the quick trip... Milk eggs bread. Gets pricey for the big haul weekly grocery run tho. Often has good meat specials.

Love market basket. Their meats are the besr, produce is fresh, and the workers are friendly. Also love the christian music playing in the background becauae it does have a calming effect after working hard.
