Wanted to put our dog there for 3 months as we will be out of town and when we called them they said to come on Monday. When we went they told us that they can't keep our dog because they were closing the business in 1 week. They never told us that when we called before and she kept lying that she told us that. She was also rude about it. Gave 2 stars because the first time we put our dog there there was sweet lady who took care of our dog for a week but this time this another lady was very rude.

Locals with a dog should go see Carol. She has greatly improved our dog life. I look forward to seeing Carol and training with her. She is a great asset to the community. She's so great, I recommend you get a dog just to go meet and train with her. We're working toward our 4th title, training for AKC Open Obedience.

I’ve known Carol for over 14 years now. She trained two Golden doodles during that time. My last two GD’ have been service dogs for me and they were/are trainable, great around other people and animals because K-9’s superior training methods. When I come across a service dog method that I’m not communicating the desired affect, Carol is always there, thank you Lord!Yes, there other places, but none can match the honed skills, levels of training experience and the mental fortitude necessary to bring out the best in your dog.JTC

Carol knows what's going on!We attend a weekly basic training group class, where there's about 10 other dogs. She has learned each dogs names, and knows which ones work well together for exercises that involve pairing up. Carol is extremely skilled, as you can see from her awards and certificates in the lobby. We are very confident in learning and being trained by her!

Carol knows what she is doing. I am over halfway through private lessons for my very anxious/scared rescue dog and we have already learned so much. She has already helped cure him of barking in the car and trained him in leash manners...things I didn’t think were possible. Carol and her daughter were so responsive to my immediate dog needs. I needEd training, kenneling and immediate tips on how to deal with two male rescues. Carol is incredibly knowledgeable and doesn’t pull any punches. She tells you exactly what you need to hear. She was an angel to me. Continuing to go for training and kenneling.

We left our dog to be trained during the week and would pick him up on the weekends. Did a wonderful job with him and he loved the place. Since then we have also brought 2 more dogs in for training and they have done great also. Will always bring my dogs here. It's a great place.

Family owned business with a long history in the area. They offer dog obedience classes and boarding. All levels are offered. Swing by and check out the many awards and trophies won by the Segonias over the years in competitions as well as the numerous recognitions they have received from the community. They really care about the animals and their customers, whom they view as family. To prove a point, when Hurricane Rita struck the area and Groves evacuated, families that couldn't take their dogs with them entrusted their pets to K-9. The owners stayed behind and protected the dogs until the families were able to come back. They did this in 90+ degree heat for weeks with no power.I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Also, their rates are very reasonable.

The owner has decades of experience. She will be honest and upfront with you, but not in a mean way. I will be enrolling my dog for private lessons very soon, and I really appreciate that you can pay half up front, and half at the end of the course! Very helpful staff, as well.

We highly recommend K-9 for training and boarding of dogs. We have had a great experience with Carol and her facility. They genuinely care for all of the animals and go the extra mile to ensure they are safe and active when being boarded.

Carol is knowledgeable enough. We had our GSD trained there and boarded for a week. She came out with huge gash in her leg and with a cough. The place smells really bad and I’m not so happy with our experience there overall. I wouldn’t recommend the services.

BEST DOG TRAINER IN THE WORLD Karol 💜💜my Great Dane Jaxx was sooooo excited to come here he would wake me up and was already by the door as soon as I take him out wants to go in the car to take him to K9 dog Obedience in groves TX , if you live in Nederland or port Arthur literally less than 10 min drive . Also in less than just 2 weeks he is great on loose leash walk , sit , stay , come when called . And the prices are sooo economical . She knows sooo much about dogs I even think knows more than a vet Dr . Will continue to come . 🧡🧡🐶
