Clean and surprising well stocked despite being a third of the size of the nearby HEB super store near Hwy 365. I like it because I can get in and out quickly.

HEB is a good grocery store. Some are fancier than others and the neighborhood market concept, which this store is, has less available than one of the big ones in the city. It served its purpose. Port Arthur is a very poor community and the outside of the store appears run down. Incidentally, it is only 0.4 mi from the birthplace of Janis Joplin, right down the street.

I love this grocery store. Their prices are very competitive and they are coupon friendly unlike Wal-Mart. I like that fact that they also have their own coupons throughout the store to use on different products. This is a great incentive for shoppers and a money saver at the same time. Their cashiers are very friendly.

I like this HEB better than the big one on 365 only because there are less people here usually. I wish they had a bakery and the isles are too narrow, especially during this pandemic. The customer service is always really nice though and we usually find everything on our list.

So I'm the only one in line and all items are on the treadmill while the clerk and another employee are engaged in a conversation (not work related)...I'm waiting. She even cleans something on her right. Then she greets me and begins to process my items. In the middle of my transaction, she's listening to the conversation of a customer who has come in line behind me....and mentions to me that she's eavesdropping. I thought employees were sent to a " customer service training " before being released to the floor. Honestly. I probably looked perturbed because I've trained hundreds of employees on "customer service skills" and I get easily agitated when I witness the opposite!

went back to this heb because I thought my past issue would be solved but looked like the girl Julianna is still working here and as I was waiting in my car for my husband; she flicked me off in the parking lot as she was pushing carts.Why is she still employed for your company when she acts like this while on the clock?

Store coolers were going out, there were 3 that food had already been removed from the shelfs and the one I got my egg rolls out of was at about 60 degrees, they had 2 breakfast ribeyes with a price of $32.95, and a couple of weeks ago they were $8.95 that's a big difference in price. Overall I got most of the things I was looking for, I've been shopping at this store for the last 20 years, and when I was leaving the store I saw a A/C man working on the Ice Machine that stores the bag ice, it wasn't working either, so if you live in Groves TX you might want to go to the big HEB on hwy 365.

My store.. I love this heb so much that the parking is not much of an issue. Philo was extremely friendly and helpful!! Other employees bag your groceries then hurry off bc they are afraid you will ask for help. Not me... so when I need help, I do the old fashioned method of tipping!

Though the location needs a much better remodeling and updating, it does serve its purpose in the community.This HEB has been here for MANY years and it shows. The employees doe their best with the space provided and everyone in the community comes here to shop.Decent selections for most things and good prices as you would expect.

I have always enjoyed my shopping experience in this particular H.E.B. It is my preferred chain grocery store in the Port Arthur- Nederland area. This store is always clean & the staff is friendly. The fruit & vegetables are always fresh. And I've never had to stand in the check-out for an extended period of time.

For a smaller grocery store, they always have what we need. The prices are great and the staff is helpful and friendly. Checkout lines usually move pretty fast. Even in the busier times, they move more staff to open more registers so you don't have to wait long.

Shopping was easy. When asking an employee where an item was, he knew and I went on my way. The only negative being parking. Usually I shop when the store opens, however today I went around 3:00.It just made me remember to go earky.

They have some good employees and they are very helpful.Also I want to ask a question what happened to HEB shutting down the Gulfway Drive store which is a pantry store and the 32nd Street Pantry store and combining it into one big store. People been waiting on that. Thought they was going to put it on the corner of Gulfway Drive and Jefferson Drive. Now they telling everybody that plan is off the books. That just leave with just one big HEB located on Highway 365. So I'm guessing they're not going to build the store what they say they was going t do back then they scrapped the plans.

As always plenty of checkers, and people on the floor to help you. Under the circumstances doing the best they can. Lots of empty shelves but that is out of their control. Had an orderly system in place to ration out bottled water and security at the door. Great job HEB !!!!

This is an older store. If you're used to the larger hebs with all of the fresh meals, sushi, sides etc. This store is not it. It's very basic with limited selection.

I am 71 and today (Nov 2nd) was the first day since April that I did my own shopping absolutely anywhere for that matter because I'd felt so very unsafe and paranoid due to Covid, but I felt comfortable and safe while at this HEB Pantry... the store was very clean with their spray sanitizer guy constantly spraying everything. Thank you!

Smaller HEB lacking on quite a few items but has all the essential groceries. Not a big selection of fish and does not have a deli. Produce section has a pretty good variety.

This store has somewhat of a limited selection, obviously due to the fact that it is an older and smaller unit than the newer stores that have been opening up in the area. But they have a solid staff and management team, that does a great job keeping the store clean and organized.

H.E.B. is an excellent grocery store, the have wonderful cashiers and management. I love the fact that they accept coupons from the internet as well as from the Sunday paper without any hassle. There prices are very competitive to Wal-Mart and they have better produce than Walmart.

Had something here in stock that family dollar store and market basket didn't and faster to go in than Walmart. Isles are stocked well, but too many people on isle it's hard to move.
