The most friendly and caring staff. All the ladies from the front desk to the back were beyond kind. They took time to remember us and always made sure we were taken care of. Our baby had terminal cancer and they’ve walked with us step by step on how we can give her the best care before she passed away. They treated her as if she was their own dog, she loved to see them as well. Dr. Melancon was also very kind and compassionate, he made sure we were never in the dark about any changes within her condition. Their clinic is the best in the area with the best staff, incomparable to any other clinic.

Excellent Vets and staff at Groves Veterinary Clinic. Years ago I had a do who had all sorts of red spots that just popped up on her. I took her to a vet in Beaumont and the vet said it's the food your feeding her give her something else.After changing her food I waited a week or two and went back. He said I don't know what your doing but it's something your doing. Well that didn't make much sense to me. Maybe I caught him on a bad day. This upset me because this dog meant a lot to me. I was talking with my in-laws about this and they told me about Groves Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Richey and Dr. Melancon. I really was kinda skeptical but I figured what have we got to lose. Upon the first visit Dr. Richey knew exactly what the issue was and began treatment it took 12 to 14 weeks of shots 1 time per week but they got her fixed up. Since then I have moved to Groves and have 2 more dogs that visit either Dr. Richey or Dr. Melancon. Both are top notch vets. They seem to love our dogs like we do. Their staff is excellent. From the lady who schedules appointments to the ones that assist the vets. Everyone here is wonderful. You can go wrong by going to Groves Veterinary Clinic.

When I had to bring Cora (My 7 month old terrier) in due to an emergency situation they immediately started taking care of her and researched to find answers. Due to the situation and condition she was in she didn't make it but they made sure she was comfortable and content

Believe it or not, Tillman Richey, and Grove Vet Clinic, has provided compassionate and reliable care for my dogs for over 32 years. Even though I now live 25 miles away I have never considered any other service, emergency or not. You are always greeted by patient and sweet professionals and am always seen in a prompt and timely manner. They are a full service facility, serving all your fur babies needs. They are a highly appreciated staple of the community.

Love Dr. Richey!!! The most caring veterinarian I have ever had..We have had him for many years. Even when we moved out of town, we still take our babies to him. He has been with us through many ups and downs. Will never use another doctor for our babies.

Sent here by our Vet too get an ultrasound for our Lab. Very impressed with overall care and manners of staff. The Vet here took extras time to explain findings and help us understand prognosis. We appreciate the individual attention and time given to our pet! Would highly recommend.

This is a superb place to bring your animal. I came from Houston on a recommendation because my dog needed surgery. Dr. Melancon was wonderful. He answered all my questions, called me personally when the lab results came in on my dog's tumor, and generally was a very nice and attentive doctor. The staff was also top notch. You can not go wrong trusting your pet in the hands of this Veterinary Clinic. Also, the costs were reasonable.

I can't say enough good about my experience with Groves veterinary clinic. Unfortunately my cat got sick the night before the ice/snow. I was able to get him to the emergency vet in Beaumont that night, but sadly he was returned home that night because of the expected storm. I got a call from the clinic the minute they opened to bring him in. Everyone at the clinic did everything they could to save my boy, but unfortunately it was too late. Everyone was very kind and considerate of my broken heart, and their compassion made a difficult decision just a little bit easier. I absolutely recommend them!

They know me by name and have always been able to treat my dogs effectively and accurately. They might cost a few dollars more than other vets, but rest assured, they are worth it. They really do treat you like family when dealing with your pets.

I brought my cat in and he was seen by Dr. Richie for the first time. I have never seen a more caring Veterinarian than Dr. Richie. He went above and beyond the call of duty. The staff is number one. My cat and I were both treated like family. Dr Richie and the staff deserve more than five stars. They are my forever Veterinarian Clinic.

This use to be my go to place when my dogs needed care. Now, I will never go here again. Dr. Holland (who now works at the animal hospital in Beaumont) "thought" she saw something in my dogs stomach and told me that he needed to into surgery to see what it was....Over a thousand dollars later, there was nothing in his stomach, (which made me think they gave him an unnecessary surgery for the money) and they pulled my dogs teeth, without consent. The reception had an attitude when I question why my dogs teeth pulled, without my consent and she told me "Well you sign the consent form this morning." Mind you, my dog had stayed over night, so I never went up there, let alone signed anything. Dr. Holland sent my dog home, still sick, almost in worse shape than what he went in. I took him to the Animal hospital in mid county, and they did everything to bring my dog back to his normal state, and sent him home with prescriptions and were amazing and welcoming! They even called me to check on my dog, after they nursed him back to health, where as Groves vet seemed to not care...We are going on week two, and no one has even called to check on my dog, or give me the results to his biopsy. Oh and dr. holland said that my dog will die with his condition, and she didn't know what was wrong with him. Just so insensitive. I would steer clear of these people if I were you guys...

This past week I took my pup to Groves Vet as a result of an emergency referral from our vet in Houston. Dr. Melancon had the tough job of delivering some heartbreaking news to my family. He did so with such care, compassion, and patience. We had never been to see him and were obviously not going to be long-term patients given our location- but, that didn’t matter. Dr. Melancon still took care with every word and answered all of our questions with honesty and empathy. I am very grateful we ended up with him because I couldn’t imagine how much harder it would have been had we heard this news from anyone else. It’s things like this that really matter to people, especially right now. The office had significant, and proper, COVID19 precautions in place. We felt safe and cared for. Thank you Dr. Melancon and the Groves Vet Clinic team. We appreciate you.
