Wow, what an amazing spot! When you walk onto the grounds, you can feel that prayer upon prayer has gone up. It's sort of weird to me to build this masterpiece in the middle of nowhere, but I do think there is something quite amazing happening. I can only imagine all the drivers that are randomly blessed by a stop. This is an amazing meditation point where you can walk through life size statues of the passion, go to the cross, even sit at the last supper. There is also a lovely fountain to sit at and pray. If you are ever cruising down the 40, make time for at least a 30 minute stop, longer if you can!

Great place to stop on your road trip. I loved learning more about the Savior and the beautiful feeling you get as you walk around. The gift shop was super cute too.

Be still my heart and thank you for this amazing sight celebrating the life, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The stations of the cross are done beautifully as is the last supper. Take time to study the the facial expression for each disciple. I so appreciated how the artist captured the facial expression and body position of each man. What really caught my heart is the memorial of Jesus on His knees holding a pre born baby. The sadness and gentleness depicted in His face broke my heart. I am move by this remembrance for all the unborn babies never given the opportunity to live out their life due to abortion. The gift store is full of wonderful items.

Oh my! What can I say, but that I'm so glad we stopped by!! Beautiful almost or close to life-sized statues of our dear Lord's last days, brought to life in "The Stations of the Cross." Please take a quick exit into the town of Groom, Texas, and take a look for yourself. There's even a generous sized gift shop with beautiful gifts for purchase.

Nice place to take a break while driving the I40 corridor in Texas. Vary peaceful. A great place to reflect on the Life of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Be sure to take a stroll into the visitor center and say “HI” to Jason.

Technically, the cross here in Groom isn't the largest but I'm not going to point that out to anyone. There's a cross in Effingham Illinois that is a midge taller. But the land here is flatter and you'll be seeing this cross from nearly 20 miles away as you're heading between Amarillo and Oklahoma City.It is located just off I-40 with an easy exit. There is a large gravel parking lot with plenty of room for larger vehicles. At the base of the cross are life-sized statues that depict the 14 Stations of the Cross. There is also a small amphitheater. It's an ideal stop if you're a Christian or Christian-curious.

Good people. Providing a peace-filled reminder to a stressed world that Jesus loves you. You are here for a purpose. The Groom Cross, stations of the cross, and your campus and gift shop are beautiful.

Amazing monument that should be seen, it was an accidental discovery that my wife had driven by for years and pointed out....

A huge cross that can be seen 5 miles away. Very impressive. Nice gift shop. A short movie about the construction. There is a prayer room available. Well worth the extra time it added to our travels. This christian woman was so moved by the stations of the cross, so realistic, it brought me to tears.

Worth seeing with the family. Didn't agree with everything on site (theologically) but it was a good outing while visiting Amarillo.

I really enjoyed visiting this place. So much . Loved reading all the things. Loved looking at all the Statues. Was so neat and moving to go into the cave with the stone that tolled away. Prices was high on most of the things to buy though. Loved, Loved the fountain.

If you want to be captivated by beautiful biblical artwork and sculptures I recommend going here. This area personally for me is very relaxing and really makes me wanna delve deeper into God's wonderful mysteries. This is the very place my husband knew he had to marry me. He told me he felt that God was speaking to him when we visited for the first time with my family. Truly an astonishing visit.

This awesome monument is worth the sidetrip.Though prayerful consideration of each feature is difficult in hot Texas sun, an Easter visit might be more advantageous to contemplation.

This is an interesting stop. The feature of the location is a huge cross that can be seen for miles. Indeed, it was viewing the cross from the interstate that drew us to it. Surrounding the cross are several statues depicting the stations of the cross. Nearby are sculptures showing the last supper, and in the near distance the three crosses of Calvary. There are also a couple displays that present a conservative stance on social issues. A gift shop and restroom are also on the premises. I enjoyed seeing the huge cross, and overall the exhibits are well done.

Very inspirational and emotional. If you are not moved to tears while visiting, you are not human. Definitely worth the stop, and highly recommended!!

Beautiful! Thank you for your hard work. What a beautiful place. Everything is beautiful!I was sad the gift store was closed. We travel from Colorado to Texas and finally went by when we thought it would be open but they must have closed early. Had a list of what I wanted to buy. Was definitely worth the stop! A nice stop to visit with Jesus! A true rest stop!

Wow!!! No need to leave the United States... Jerusalem is right here in Texas. better to stay safe in the US! Stations of the Cross statues are life size. Jesus tomb is life size and the blessed waterfall will keep you speechless. Excellent tour stop for all Christians, yet you don't have to be a Catholic to enjoy this beautiful, peaceful, breathtaking location. Best to come in the day time. Unforgettable site. Must come see it at least once in your lifetime.

I LOVE coming here. Haven't been there in about 4 or 5 years and lost all the pictures I took last time, so I had to redo them. It's an absolutely amazing rendition of the last supper, the tomb of Jesus and the stations of the cross. I feel blessed to have been able to visit again.

This is absolutely beautiful. We have visited a similar place called The Shrine of God's Passion in St John's Indiana (I think), it's also beautiful but without the huge cross. The cross just makes this place so much more impressive.

Great stop. All done so nicely, clean, and great gift shop and restrooms. Touching to see a trucker pull in, walk over to Lord's Supper, put his hand on Jesus, pray, and then hop back in his rig and go. Love that we can publicly enjoy and celebrate our Savior in such a simple yet impactful way.

Such a beautiful stop along I-40. Wonderful gift shop and conference venue. It has all of the Stations of the Cross with life sized bronze statues. Very peaceful and serene. When we stopped the first time, we were surprised at how much there is to see and now it’s a regular stop when we’re out in the Texas Panhandle.
