1. I bought a sale food item that was clearly marked and ended up being charged a dollar more for it.2. My sister was trying to use her app. to take advantage of sales, and it was a technology nightmare to get it to work. A very nice young lady who works at Brookshires came to help her. After about 15 minutes, she was able to get it to work.3. I felt like these are sales only if you can catch the overcharge error on your own. My item, which was not a coupon sale item, should have been entered into their system if they were truly going to give you the sale. I noticed it in the car before I left the parking lot, but it was raining, so I didn't go back in. My sister said this kind of situation is common. We are going to choose another place to shop.

I enjoy my shopping at Brookshire's. Everyone is kind, friendly, and very helpful. They have very good specials and the store is impeccably clean. The beef, fish, and poultry are fresh, and so is the produce. Can't beat country life and hard work. It's seldom a long line... Awesomeness ❣️Thanks, y'all ✌️ ♥️ 😎

I still am having some problems in finding things. But the meats are fresh, the added fresh(frozen) catfish and salmon are very good. I wish the prices were better, but their sales and Tues specials for seniors are helpful.

I love that the grocery store offers a wide variety of items.Their prices are a little high, but that’s expected with any brookshires.The kids that work there are do need to work on their customer service though. There’s been multiple occasions that I’ve been waiting for the cashier to finish ringing my items up and the cashier will start a full on conversation with the guy bagging my groceries that’s not appropriate for customers to hear. Or, the other guys that work there will stand around at the end of the cashier’s station and have a full conversation, in the way of you leaving, and not even move when you try to leave. I wish management would do something about that. I understand kids like to talk and gossip, but there’s a time and a place for all of that.

I would give this store 5 stars because the customer service is on point, but major improvement needs to be made in the bakery. I purchased a 4 pack of homemade cinnamon rolls for my mom & when i brought them home today my mom had one & there was hair all through the roll. DO NOT PURCHASE THE HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS! Whoever made them was not wearing a hair net...sick!!!

I only left a star rating. Then I started reading other reviews for the store so I decided to add some words to my stars.The worst things people have to say about this store Is that everything is expensive and the staff is rude. I disagree with the latter, specifically among the younger employees. They are all pretty polite. And honestly, I couldn't care less if I DONT get a "Hi, how are ya" when I walk in. As far as the price, I agree but that's at a corporate level. Not even Brookshires Corp. The food companies set their prices. So if thats you're issue, then go elsewhere. Walmart is 20 mins away. Yes it's inconvenient but I have family that drives 45 mins just for walmart prices. I don't but that's their choice. Anyway, now something I actually have a problem with. For example, they have say 3 different fancy brands of soy sauce but no low sodium option. There is no worldly foods such as plantain or batata or stuff like that.But now the biggest issue I have.The low quality of the fresh produce. You can expect limp celery, saggy green onions, yucky cilantro... and I've even found bugs in my rice.. which according the Orkin man who once sprayed my home, bugs on brookshires produce is a common complaint.So that's all I got.

It's simple, I like to shop where the management, staff, and atmosphere are outstanding in putting the customer's needs first."Selfless", you could say. That small town, special attention feel when you enter the door. A great smile, a helpful hand to an ailing long time customer, and thank you for shopping with us as they take the time to "ask" which side of your vehicle is convenient to remove your items once home. Oh yes, they usually remember if you are a regular shopper. The little things that move your day smoothly along.

I shop at Brookshire’s in Groesbeck once a week for my grocery needs. I have been back in this area for over seventeen years and when I first started shopping there was somewhat disappointed. Coming from a big city the selection wasn’t up to a big city standards but over the years has greatly improved. Today I went to do my weekly shopping and so was impressed by the selections, the remodeling of the store and felt like I was in Houston, Dallas or San Antonio. Awesome job employees of Brookshire’s, managers and supervisors. The town of Groesbeck should be very proud of the store, the hard work that has been put in to provide the very best for their customers.

Excellent service, prices are a little higher than competitors but it's more convenient than driving. Deli counter has great deals and tasty food. Good local market for getting what you need quickly.

Love my Brookshire's? Let me tell you a little about it.It is always well stocked and lots of friendly checkers at the registers should there be a line they will always open extra registers, the managers are always stocking in the aisles asking you how your day is and can they help you find something, the produce isle through small is all fresh and very appealing in appearance, the fresh cooked fried chicken is to die for the best around here, and the rotisserie has numerous flavors of your choice delicious, fresh bread from the oven makes your mouth water with several choices there to, and they have a hot meal waiting for you at whatever time you want to eat.People sometimes fuss because the prices are a little high but the weekly sales make up for that.The meat market has beautiful cuts of meat in your choice, don't see what you want just ask one of the butchers who are always there and ready to help you.Yes I like my Brookshires just wish it were bigger then I would give 5 ☆'s.

A small-town version of the venerable Brookshire's. they have a medium collection but occasionally are out of a few things. The staff is mostly friendly and offers to help you. Occasionally some don't invite you into the store with a welcome. But, that's seldom the case. Prices are a bit higher than Walmart or HEB. Maybe Walmart may be coming into town soon.

Well stocked store with adequately wide aisles and lighting. Produce, meat department and bakery are exceptional. Most of the staff are friendly and very helpful.Take advantage of sales to stock up.

This store is the local store in our small town. The employees are nice. Expect for one time a old guy bagger told me I need to cover my shoulders up, that its impolite to others. Now the only reason I even care is that I'm a customer theres no reason to say that. And I ONLY my shoulders were showing. Which isnt as bad as some. But all in all my experience and shopping there is great. And the deals they have I love~~ specially the buy one get one for 1cent. Which is amazing when you need to buy a lot but only have like 20-50bucks.
