Great place for boarding and daycare! They take great care of the animals and their love for the animals really shows. My dog goes to daycare every week and he loves it. He is extremely excited when he realizes we are almost there.

Moonlight Shadow Ranch is the only people we trust with our dogs. They will treat your animals like their own. My dogs are always excited to get in the car and go see them. They even send pics of them playing and having fun. I highly recommend them to anyone looking and they are the only ones I trust with my dogs!!

This is the only place I consider taking my dog to when I’m out of town. These people not only have wildlife experience, but are engaging our dogs with their day to day lives. MSR is more affordable than pet smart/co, and MSR does way more for your fur babies then at other pet boarding locations! They also update you during your dogs stay, also sends pictures! My favorite place ever!

My dog Jojo just loves going to daycare at Moonlight Shadow. This is a family run business and they keep the play groups to numbers of 5 or 6 so the dogs that are more shy can enjoy themselves. I like that Jojo has the opportunity to socialize with other well mannered dogs that have his same energy level lol.

Moonlight Shadow Ranch is amazing. Melanie only takes in a few dogs at a time so she can still focus on their care and playtime. She has childrens slides and yard toys for them to play on too. Melanoe is also a very sweet and awesome person as well. Your fur baby will be well loved and cared for. We are having to leave ours for a month unfortunately, but i know he will be cared for.

I love Melanie and Chris at Moonlight Shadow Ranch! They take such good care of my girl. I've been taking her there to doggie daycare for about a year now, and she absolutely loves it! In fact, it's the only time my girl will wait at the back of the car to get in; otherwise; she hates the car. Melanie sends pictures of the pups having fun with their furry friends for even more peace of mind. They are the only daycare that has ever worked around my schedule, and I am so incredibly grateful for the love they show each pet. You should definitely give them a try for daycare, boarding, or training!

Melanie and Chris were the absolute best!!! Very professional and personable! I was sent pictures of my pup every single day and if I had any questions, they answered quickly! They have a wonderful place for the dogs to play and best of all, they are treated like family. No kennel, and are comfortable when we were out of town. My pup was probably sad to leave! 😂 Melanie loves animals and you can see she knows what she’s doing with them! Will definitely be using Moonlight shadow from now on when we go out of town. It’s sure nice to be able to trust a place with your fur baby when you’re out of town.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Not only is the owner an absolutely phenomenal woman, but she puts her pets and all animals above everything else. Her facility is a dog heaven, and a horse haven. I was there to help her facility a horse transfer and when I got there I was stunned by how beautiful her property is. Every animal in her care was happy healthy and mentally stimulated. Most boarding facilities will just crate your dog and let it out to relieve itself but no way not Melanie! She each animal has their own unique space and tons of area to run around and keep exercised. Absolutely consider using her because your baby is her baby too and they get nothing but the best!!!!

Our dogs absolutely love coming here for a visit. They do a great job taking care of all the animals and love them as if they were their own. They are always very accommodating, as our traveling is on a standby basis, and never a for sure thing. We highly recommend them to anyone in the Hunt County area!!

Melanie and Chris are both absolutely wonderful! They know a lot about animals and always take great care of them. Honestly, they are the only ones I would ever trust to look after my dogs. They spent five weeks boarding and training my dog. Their communication was excellent. My dog no longer jumps up on me and he obeys several commands. Much better behaved now. I definately recommend Moonlight Shadow Ranch Pet Resort.

We left our lab with Melanie for a week and were very pleased with her care. She even did some simple training to help Daisy with walking on a leash and other simple commands! We were very impressed w how much she learned. Melanie even showed us how to reinforce what she had taught Daisy to do. We will definitely use this boarding facility again.

Great location with great service. I had a last-minute trip come up and could not use my normal location and so I reached out to Moonlight Shadow Ranch and they were able to get us in. My dog loved being here and got lots of play time and she worked really well with socializing my dog because she hasn't really been able to be socialized a lot recently. She took great care of my dog gave her plenty of outside play time and she came back happy and bouncy. They have a lot of outdoor space along with toys that the dogs can run up and play around in. She pays attention to dogs and if needs to will reduce group play to prevent problems but was also working with my dog in order to ensure she could do group play. They have you bring food for your dog which is a better scenario and the rates are great. When you're getting close it will look like you're at a dead end and you are but you'll turn just before the dead end when you get there. Communication was great anytime I texted I got pictures etc of my dog. I would definitely recommend and will reuse this location.

We love Moonlight Shadow Ranch. Our boy Hank just loves to go there and play. Melanie and Chris do an excellent job with the dogs. We have boarded Hank with them as well and have had nothing but a great experience.

Melissa gave me a very good deal for my 6-month old dog for a boarding and training for a week. She took care of my dog as her own, trained her the basics and also taught us foundation for obedience training so we could continue with what my dog has learned in a week. Will definitely recommend her and will come back next year since we're going out of town again for a few days.

I could not imagine taking my babies anywhere else! They get the best care by two very knowledgeable people. My girl gets extremely excited when she knows she's going to daycare and she goes every other day, she cannot get enough of it! Highly recommend!!

Melonie is an incredible dog trainer. She is a pet lover. Persistent, willing, and holds up her word. We left our 7 month dauschand puppy with Melonie at Moonlight. When we dropped him off, he had bathroom issues at the house, barked incessantly at neighbors if they walked passed our apartment complex, and chewed items in the house. He became somewhat aggressive with his food, too. Weeks later, Hooper came home a well behaved, quieter, trained puppy. He's incredible at home in comparison to how he was when we dropped him off for training. We would do this again in heartbeat. Moonlight Shadow was a lifesaver!

Good people who love animals and go above and beyond for their clients.They’re also being targeted by an entire group of people cyber bullying and harassing them with one star reviews trying to drop their overall rating (all but one has NEVER been a client). The cyber bullies should be ashamed of themselves, with nothing better to do than to try to ruin someone’s livelihood and passion. Moonlight Shadow Ranch is a small family business, with a superb record of great care for the pets of the local community. Disregard the one star ratings —they are hateful lies.

Highly recommend. I was hesitant the first time we brought our two doxies there because this was a last minute trip and I've never left them anywhere but their previous boarders. They loved it. Since then we've left them one other time. They came home healthy and happy. We will be taking our babies here every time we need boarding.

My huskey and I love this place. Very sweet couple that have become friends. I know my fur babies are very well taken care of and happy when they stay here. My huskey goes to daycare every other day and she looooves it there. Highly recommend fur baby approved!

Great play areas for dogs to exercise & enjoy! Other pets welcome too. The owners are honest, conscientious & caring. They are booked a lot, but that’s because they do a wonderful job.

They really do treat your pet and love it as their own. We got pictures of our pup hanging out on the couch with the family which made us feel much better especially since she wasn’t in a cage all day. We will be using them again.
