I was able to find a dog toothpaste that was perfect for my fur baby and it happened to be on sale at the time. They have a nice sized pet clothing section.

I was really disappointed in the grooming appointment today. My dog evidently spilled his water bowl after his groom, and the girls didn’t do anything to try and dry him. He was covered in other dogs clippings when we left.. who knows what kind of bugs and stuff may had been in there. I’d just assume I wouldn’t be picking up a soaking wet dog. Not to mention they had temporarily added extra cages all over the place. No wonder he knocked his bowl over and had other dogs hair all over him.. he was directly under the grooming table.I had to go outside and dry him with a towel prior to getting in the truck, while the groomers did nothing and returned to clipping dogs. If I performed this service and acted that way, I would be totally embarrassed. What a nightmare.. I was covered and had to change clothes immediately.Would NOT recommend and won’t return for grooming. Too bad I left a 20% tip when I paid before the fiasco happened.I will surely get a reply that petco will “address” the concerns. Hardly an adequate response for this poorly run grooming department. A total refund is warranted here.

Very clean store, the animals looked well taken care of. The staff was very friendly. This isn't my normal store, I happened to be in a store next to it. If I happen to be there again, I will definitely visit.

Manager at this store has been kind and employees are friendly. I use this store mainly for bath & grooming when I do not have time. I cannot choose a groomer due to my time frame, however, new groomer who recently joined the team is kind at heart, truly loves dogs.-------------------------------------------------------I unfortunately changed my rating. This nice manager is no longer at this store and two of my favorite groomers, Camille and Brandon are no longer here. One groomer was arrogant and rude. On my last visit, my poor wee came back with a yellow toe. The store manager was reluctant about finding out what happed during grooming. It was applied to stop bleeding. (never happened for 7 plus years) Petco representatives took care of this situation, they were caring and professional. There is no other Petco close by ,therefore, they terminated membership and replaced my grooming perk to online purchase. I thought I was stuck with the membership for a year so I kept using but I should have stopped using when Camille and Brandon left. Now I read recent grooming reviews rated one star, I feel horrible and I wish this last grooming incident did not traumatize. Convenience has been great but it's better for myself to be my dog's groomer to represent this breed.

This whole shopping center feels pretty run down and so does the inside of this Petco. They also seem to not staff very well as we are usually left standing at check out for awhile before any one notices us

I am beyond frustrated with the utter incompetence and disregard for my pet's well-being at this so-called grooming service. Last week, I made the mistake of entrusting them with my dog's care, scheduling a 10 o'clock appointment for a bath. Little did I know that this would turn into a nightmare.They had the audacity to keep me in the dark until a mind-boggling 1:30 PM, claiming that my dog had transformed into some sort of kennel-attached hermit. Three excruciating hours passed before they bothered to inform me that they couldn't coax her out and essentially washed their hands of the situation, instructing me to bring her back.The frustration is overwhelming when I think about my poor baby girl confined in that kennel for an agonizing three hours, devoid of any care or attention. The entire concept of an "appointment" turned out to be a sick joke in the face of this absurdity.To make matters worse, my dog has returned home traumatized. She's now terrified to step foot outside the door, even in her once-beloved backyard. Her appetite has dwindled, and she refuses to go out for her basic needs. It's enraging to witness the impact this ordeal has had on her, and I hold this grooming service responsible for subjecting her to such distress.This experience has not only left me frustrated but also deeply concerned for my pet's emotional well-being. I wouldn't wish this negligence on any pet owner, and I am determined to make my dissatisfaction known far and wide. This establishment has lost not only my business but any shreds of respect I might have had for them.

Well, I want to address my humble opinion here that I highly recommend all the grooming specialists get standard training and enhance the technics. Because as customers we never know who is going to groom our pups. At least if we have some standard here, we would receive less “surprise”. For example, today I took my 4-month old puppy to his first grooming, and Sierra B was the technician who helped him, apparently she took his cuteness away. I couldn’t recognize him when I picked him up. I had an emotional moment when I took him back to my car. Hopefully he will grow back the hair faster, and I won’t go back to Petco Grapevine again.

I brought my German Shepard there for grooming services and later found abrasions on his neck from the collar. This must've been caused by bad handling and neglect to cause actual cuts on my dogs neck. This is very unprofessional and borderline criminal. Take caution before using this petco for your grooming services we will stay far away from this place to preserve our dogs well being.

I have a maltipoo puppy on whom I found a flea two days ago and immediately booked an appointment at this store for grooming and flea treatment. I was hoping my puppy to be free from fleas after this treatment which they told will be effect for 24hrs and I have to get a collar to prevent the fleas further. But as soon as I bought him home and checked he still had number of fleas on him. I don’t expect they have treated him well. I do not recommend anyone to give there puppy here.

They sell Just for Dogs and my dog loves it! I buy $100 of this food every 2 weeks like clockwork, along with whatever else I want to buy to spoil my dog. I use electronic gift cards to get a small discount. Lately, those electronic gift cards make the registers malfunction. Usually the workers just take me to another register and it will work. The last time I went in, the lady that rang me up took 2 other customers and tried to take a third customer while my register was malfunctioning instead of handling my order. She just let me sit at this malfunctioning register and took people on the other register. People just keep walking up and I realized she was just going to continue ringing up that line. As I stood there, I kept thinking that she would come back to me and take me to another register that worked.When she tried to ring up a third person while I stood there, I finally spoke up and said that she needed to ring me up. She took me to a third register and my order went through. I was so mad that she just kept taking people in front of me until I said something. Tonight, the same malfunction happened. Cole helped me. This guy needs a raise!!! He actually understands customer service. He was patient and kind, he called additional help to the registers and he suggested a solution on how I can get my order done in the future without running into all these issues. I was actually going to end my relationship with this store because of this problem and how the previous employee handled it, but Cole mended the relationship tonight by the way he handled my order. I will continue spending my hard-earned money there. Thank you, Cole, for making a very frustrating situation for me better. You really helped me and I could tell that you genuinely wanted to help me. Thank you, thank you.

One stop shop for our new pup. He was welcomed in and loved on while we found him exactly what we needed for make him at home with us. Cannot give 5 stars because let's face it they dont have the cheapest things but they have EVERYTHING so it is convenient!

We've used them for 2 years now and the service is getting worse. They are good at washing them, but the actual grooming is awful. We always end up having them trim them up when we pick up our dog. We'll find another place

Clean store. Staff is ok. Though one employee ran from the register after checking out a customer. Customer didn't even get all her bags off the counter and he was halfway to the back of the store. Half of the fish tanks were dark so couldn't see some of the fish in the tanks. Thankfully there were no dead fish that i could see.

There were a ton of loose bugs everywhere including outside in the heat. I saw at least a few dozen dead crickets from the heat alone outside. Not cool.

Petco Grapevine grooming is awful. Beware of Matthew the groomer . We have been taking our dog to Petco grooming for seven years. However, Matthew at Grapevine feels he knows more than our veterinarian at Colleyville Animal Clinic in diagnosing our dogs leg issue. Refused service since she our dog has arthritis and likes to sit . They called us after the bath and said it was too much work due to the leg arthritis . No empathy , we brought vet diagnosis and authorization and groomer avoided us and would not converse . Petco is losing its way with current staff. Do not go here !So is Petco still banning us as we were informed by the store. Just from a loyalty perspective management didn’t think through as we were taking our two full size golden doodles almost every other week for 7 years . Crazy we are banned for the same dog you have taken care of since a puppy. Also we need to cancel the Petco monthly membership for both dogs with credits as we have no use for the discounts since we are banned . Please respond on solution

During a TX ice day while almost all other businesses were closed, we HAD to get puppy food. Donnie was so helpful and patient. We've been coming in the store for years now and I've never had someone be that helpful before.

Nicole is extraordinarily unprofessional. She turned the aquarium lights off while myself and another group of customers were standing in front of several fish tanks. After several minutes of waiting in the dark, I walked to find someone and saw the light switches right outside the aquarium area. I turned the lights on. Immediately from my left Nicole says “please don't touch our lights” to which I replied “we’ll they were off and we were looking at the fish”. She let me know she turned them off because they were closing soon, it was 6:41pm when the store closes at 8:00pm. When I raised this point, she changed her point by saying she doesn’t sell fish an hour before close. Overall, her attitude was indifferent and it felt like she was making up stuff in the moment to justify poor customer service.When we mentioned the lights being off to another employee, she responded knowingly, as if this occurs regularly.I’ve lived in the area for 4 years and have purchased nearly everything for my many animals here. It’s closest and I’ve always had a decent experience. I will not be purchasing anything else from this location due to this interaction.

The only reason I give this place four stars is because of the customer service we received. They were so helpful and sweet. Oh, and they carry the brand of puppy food we can't find at Walmart. Other than that everything is more expensive than Walmart and the quality product is the same.

Love the Petco in Grapevine. The employees are always helpful and friendly. I drive past one of their competitors everyday just for the customer service.
