Went in asking for everything to install a shower knob replacement kit. Went home installed it never did work for me so of course I went back to return it since it was a faulty kit. But all they did was kick me to the curve and said they couldn’t resale even tho it was bad from the start.

This place is exspensive and I wish the ppl at the register were a bit nicer. They do not joke around I guess until they know you as a regular. Been shopping here for two years now.

A disabled veteran was wanting to use the bathroom while attempting to purchase a lawnmower. He was refused access to a restroom. He was even parked in a handicap spot. Don’t do business with these people. You could obviously see this man was handicap.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. A little pricey; but that's just one of the perks of living in a small town. I wished they stayed open a little later; but, as stated...small town. Honestly, we are fortunate to have our own hardware/lumber yard.

Had what I was looking for but I didn't need the snotty attitude from employees nor did I ask for parenting advice from them either. This store is not very customer friendly and have huge issues with members of the community who have mental disabilities. I will not be going back to this store ever again! Lots my business for sure. And its sad because We recently bought a home that needs plenty of work.

This place is pretty pricey, but when you only have one hardware store in town, what else are you going to do! Staff is helpful, and they have a fair selection of items just a little on the expensive side.

Poor service in the loading department. We waited and waited for someone to come out. Then a guy finally comes out and goes straight to the vehicle that pulled in after us to help them. My husband ended up having to open a pallet to get two bags of concrete out and loaded himself. We have shopped there ever since we moved here in 94. But now I see why most people choose to go out of town to Lowe's and Home Depot to shop for what they need. We have never been so upset with the service. We felt like our business was that important to.

I have shopped here since moving to the area 12 years ago. I have found everyone to be helpful and friendly. To trash these home town people calling them rude and unfriendly is wrong. I would bet the trash talking people have never taken the time to get to know these good people. They don't have a monopoly, they have a small town business that sells items we need. Without these small business owners we are left with a trip to the city and forced to buy from the big box stores. We are talking about losing local jobs, our friends and neighbors without jobs. Take a look in the mirror, who is being rude. Is it you for not having the courage to face the people you are calling rude and trash them in this forum instead of being a friend and working out what ever perceived problems you might be feeling. Maybe the rudeness you ere feeling was frustration the other person was feeling because you couldn't explain your needs. Be a little more forgiving, life is short.

I bought one sheet of foam board and ask them to cut it in half, so it would fit inside my vehicle. "Nope but we'll loan you a knife", was their response. They will be a place of last resort for me. It's a lumber yard for Christ sake.
