This place is amazing! It may remind you of another Texan gas station, but dare I say this one is better! The bathrooms are clean and the drink selection is phenomenal. The iced coffee is delicious and puts other gas stations to shame! But the food is where it's really at! I ordered a party melt and it was so good. I kid you not, it was the best patty melt I've had and the fries were fresh and crispy! These aren't your typical gas station prices, but it's 100% worth it! I'll be stopping everytime I pass one from here on out!

That place is nice and clean food is Great. Just need to improve to make Ruben Sandwich to be served Hot like original Recipe. In past two weeks this is my second time and that meat and cheese is Cold.

The store is full of employees. Also full of customers. Nobody to check you out at the front. Tried to order a kolache, rang the bell after standing there for 5 minutes. I can see at least 4 employees talking. One employee finally comes out of the kitchen then turns around and goes back to the kitchen to finish her conversation with the other employee.I decided I would just move on

If you are passing through, take a break here to stretch your legs. The restrooms are clean, the staff is nice and the grub and snackage sections is vast. You can get all kind of good eats and beverages here. Gas up and hit the road

Cleanliness!!!Cean restrooms, and clean on the inside. Never too crowded. Wide selection of snacks and fast food for the road. However they do have a seating area inside if you are in no rush. Plenty of pumps. By pass 77 and take 59 instead and this will be your new filling station.

My experience at The Texan in Goliad was amazing. The store was very neat and organized and the employees are very welcoming and always greet every time someone enters the store. The deli area is always fresh and my food always comes out very quickly. The restrooms are always clean and stocked. Thank y’all to all the workers for such a wonderful job y’all do.

This Texan is clean and never to busy. I give it a 3 only because the clerks at the counter seem more interested in talking to each other about their boyfriends to each other don’t focus much on the customer. Don’t pay attention to what their doing half the time.I love pizza but your pizza is old and the box’s are greasy. I’ve gotten a few slices and they are always cold and dry not sure when the cook them but not fresh.

Good truck stop. Limited parking. Food is good breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pizza is great. Most of the staff is friendly and professional.

Strange! My detailed review was deleted! (this isn't the first time it happened too!). Well, it was a great place to get gas for a travel travel/truck rig and I am thankful for the thoughtful/roomy layout for maneuvering room. I buy a LOT of gas!! Had a great burger here too! Will give business when in the area!

Cool gas station. Clean bathrooms. We filled up the tanks and grabbed a few snacks for the road. Staff were professional. I like all the rocks they have as landscaping. Tooks cool. They have free air for your tires. Really cool you don't have to dig for $2-$3 worth of change to top off the air in your tires. I probably should have asked but I did take a couple of the stones from the landscaping. They looked really cool. One was purple and the other was all gnarly looking. Going to throw them in the tumbler and see what they look like all shined up.

The Texans is a awesome gas station. I love the chips and the shakes. This gas station is basically a small bucees. It’s actually weirdly identical. I’ve now made it a mission to go to all of them. They’ve cornered the market in the area that bucees is lacking in along the coastal bend moving north.

I frequent this store and generally have a good experience but on 7/20, I went to the store at around 10:45 PM and the night cashier was on their phone in a private conversation - the entire time they were waiting on me! Couldn't even put the phone down and/or stop talking to the person on the other line! I thought that was extremely rude and unprofessional. What has happened to good customer service?

Clean bathrooms with many stalls, several gas pumps and quite a large array of Texas items to purchase. Snacks, drinks, etc. are available. Reminds me of a smaller Buccees. It was difficult to know the prices of many items as there weren’t prices listed.

If I was grading the food alone, they would have gotten 5 stars. However, we’re in the middle of a pandemic and they have employees walking around without masks or pulled down to their chins, including the food servers. Unfortunately I didn’t see this until I was eating my food (the person that handed us our food was wearing a mask). Now that I know that they obviously don’t care, I can’t trust that the person that was preparing our food had on a mask. Very disappointing.

The gizzards are good here the only thing is now 80% of employees don't wear mask. Last time it was 1 or 2 employees now I saw 4,5. All women. Plus the men's rooms was filthy
