Permanently closed… If you pull out of this parking lot and turn right and go straight through the red light about a quarter mile you will see a dollar store on the right-hand side (just passed Whataburger)..I am not sure if it is a Dollar General or a Family Dollar or what… I can't really remember… I just know that if you're looking at this review, then it will probably help..

It's a dollar general. It is well kept, although the organization of the store is a bit different than other Dollar Generals that I have been to. Even so, this is a great spot to pick up items needed when heading out to the state park or elsewhere.

Generally speaking the store needs more employees I have gone in there on many many many occasions and there is literally been lying down the aisles because there's only one cashier they can definitely use some more help

I visited this brand-new store the day it opened and I was happily surprised to find that it was already fully stocked and ready to go. It's a beautiful new building with a friendly and competent staff. I'll be back!

DG is pretty much the place to go here in Goliad. Chances are you will find what you need, at a lower price than the small, regional grocery store here in town.

False advertising they close at 2pm everyday and have on line there open SMH got me riding down there on my bike to find out there closed from 2pm to 10pm

I use only if a have no choose. Can't stand walking thru the employee smoke at front door. Even if not smoking at the time, ashtrays right at door. I thought there was a law about smoking distance from door

Friendly, helpful people who work at the Goliad Dollar General, especially the management Cris . Other D G's in surrounding towns sometimes hire unfriendly people.
