Not the best costumer service but still have some rarity of items you might be looking for. Great for deer hunters and people traveling through but for a local customer the processes are really extreme. Some novelty items are worth the look at and I usually have what you need. Unless you're looking for ammunition then most of the time it's far and few between I guess that's everywhere.

Shopped here for many many years! Couldn’t be any happier with all my experiences. Lots of variety of items, and very friendly staff. The store is very clean compared to other local hardware stores. The very knowledgeable staff when asking about anything to do with hunting, fishing, or firearms. Won’t force a sell on you like other retail stores. I highly recommend this store for local residents, hunters, fisherman, or if your passing through!

The general store has been a golden gem to me and my family. As we need things for deer camp, and for the ranch we go here. The art of knowing your customers is a lost art down here in Houston, Texas. At Mills County General Store, they have perfected it. You actually get help, you get someone like Bobby that knows his way around a hardware store. Good kids toys section for my little one's. Good hardware, hunting, fishing store for me. Good home goods department for my wife.

This place had a great selection of home goods, as the better Ace Hardware/mercantiles do. From garlic presses to buck knives to salt water taffee. I think Johnnie Cash was playing. Good vibe, friendly staff. I bought an exceptional can opener.

A fun hardware store. They have the usual stuff and so very much more. Full service hunting and fishing supplies, anything you could need for canning supplies, gifts, pretty things. Just so much to get lost in. And the people are fantastic. So knowledgeable and very very helpful.

This place is so much fun. It has so many gadgets, you will be overwhelmed. It carries kitchen stuff, hardware, paint, clothing, outdoor items, and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I dare you to get out of the kitchen section without buying something!

An amazing little store out in the hills. Wonderful staff and an amazingly diverse selection of goods. I was just passing through but the store appears to be a huge asset to the town with all their offerings.

This place is a gem in Goldthwaite! Toys, tools, guns, clothes, and even imported olive oil from Greece! This is a must-visit if you're ever rolling through town =)

Everything you need for your hunting or fishing trip, Christmas presents, minor home projects, kids' entertainment, and kitchen! One time, I went in there to grab a few things. I walked out with quart of paint, foam brushes, a spatula, soup mix, some 9mm bullets, and a pair of boots for my little niece. I've got my eye on that Traeger smoker.
