I came in, ordered a Hawaiian Blizzard and the guy at the register said they don’t make those. I said yes you do, then after going back and forth he said “oh yeah”.Then the Hawaiian blizzard came out and it was so plain Jane - it was like a plain vanilla ice cream cup. Just horrible, the worst I’ve ever had.And the guy at the register had a huge hickie on his neck to his left. Gross, have some decency, cover it up or get sent to the back.The owner should NOT allow this.

It’s an small town favorite! Love Dairy Queen! We had a their awesome ice cream cone and malt. Always enjoy going to Dairy Queen where the service & food is what you have come to expect.

Nachos were soggy as heck, no plastic ware to go with food, had to ask for that plus the cup of ice I had asked for. Had to go back to get our drink, toilet paper in restroom had the bloody marks/stains. Dispenser was already opened.

Usually no complaints. Place is usually fairly clean and food is usually good and service friendly and fast, but... Management needs to teach the young man who was working the register on June 16 around 11:40am how to properly make a banana split and tell his blonde girlfriend that she can't hang out there all day, being as the young man seemed more interested in aggravating her, and the dining room looked very dirty and the tables hadn't been cleaned.

The food here isn't bad. The service is pretty good. The reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is because the chocolate ice cream. I asked for chocolate ice cream in my m&m blizzard and it definitely wasn't chocolate. I'm not sure if maybe it is a Texas thing and they think it is chocolate but it isn't. Or they just didn't do it. It seems like they are all like that here in Texas, I have no idea but it is disappointing.

Ordered a small hamburger, fries and drink waited 15 minutes other orders were filled. I then asked what was hold up and found the young man at the counter had not sent order to cook. Cook asked what i had ordered and said i'll have it right out. 15 more minutes later after other orders were filled i was asked again what i ordered and finally received my order. Thank goodness i don't live in Golthwaite. I won't be stopping there again when passing through.

Took over 20 minutes to get our order of a burger and a steak finger basket, and it was not busy. Watched orders pile up for well over 5 minutes before we had to ask if we could have our order. This place definitely lacks organization and defined job roles as well as any focus on cleanliness or basic health practices. Watched the cook wipe his nose with the inside collar of his shirt and then continue to cook without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Manager looking lady came into the kitchen, but was engrossed in her phone for a while before helping out the cook, she did not wash her hands or wear gloves. My burger was not what I had ordered, and it was overcooked and cold, with a stale bun. Steak finger basket was slightly more edible. The young employees working the register and drive-thru were friendly though.

Probably the worst service I have ever seen in a fast food restaurant. It is nice to know these employees experience absolutely no stress as there is no concern on getting your order out. After waiting 20 minutes for 3 ice creams the totally committed employee came up with , oh I guess he didn’t make it.No desire to do a good job here.

Employees were polite, but the food left much to be desired. I had the 4 pc steak fingers and there was more gravey on the cup than in the cup, the toast wasn't buttered at all and the fries were already cold when I received my tray. Ill stop in again for icecream but I doubt I will eat dinner there again.

There was a real Texas downpour causing the highway to flood so we stopped at this DQ, warmed up, and we bought food the likes of which we hadn't had in ages. But, it was all good and a delightful culinary change. They have an extensive menu, including to my surprise chicken & dumplings! Cold outside, couldn't wait to order... But the price was totally outrageous! But, we liked the food and the employees were friendly.

We ordered and waited for 22 minutes. I approached the counter and asked about our order. Apparently they have not started preparing yet. I heard the staff laughing and i told the guy that it was not funny, and he answered back he did not say it was funny in a very sarcastic way. I was supposed to apologize for assuming but the kid with the sarcastic tone needs to be educated about how to deal with customers…the worst place to go to ever.

I stopped here because I had like a 3 alarm bathroom emergency. I went in and the bathrooms were nice and clean, however the men's room didn't have much room from the stall to the table outside the bathroom. So I had to take extra care not to disgust the old couple eating lunch. Overall, a pretty stressful experience.

I have always had good experiences at DQ. This time was no different. They were out of a lot of things but the covid situation is screwing up a lot of things. I don't believe it to be the stores fault. The staff are great and the good was great as usual. I'll be back for sure!!!

Blood sugar was low and perfect place for a good burger and a very small ice cream cone. Friendly employees...very cordial and quick service. I believe these same folks might own our DQ in Santa Anna. I appreciate going to DQ.

I'm giving this 5 stars, not necessarily as much for the food, though the ice cream is amazing, but for the employees. There are a few employees there that make the experience worth it. I will say, they've gotten dramatically better in the past 6 months than they had in years past.

The only reason this place got one star is because you can’t give negative stars. My order has never been right. They need to get some special needs kids to work here to straighten the place out.. I hope to God this is not the best Gothwaite has to offer.1. Employees are offended when they get your order wrong.2. You have to wait for them to quit texting in order to finish ordering, and hope they don’t get another text in the middle of that order.3. Other employees wandering around aimlessly standing in the middle of the drive-through and hanging through the drive-through window while cars are trying to get their order.4. They repeat your order back to you perfectly, but still ring you up wrong and charge you for something completely different.that was just a days order. ...
