Stopped in here for a quick lunch break. I have no regrets whatsoever amazing food the owners are just incredibly sweet very kid friendly I highly recommend they've got pet goat in the back that is their mascot that he lets the kids and people feed. Very awesome looking soda machine lots of cool decorative art and pictures on the wall definitely try their steak finger bites with gravy and mac and waffle fries I guarantee you that I will be returning soonKid-friendliness: Definitely a great place for a family to have a good meal and fun for the kids

Visited our new chicken place in town today! It was great. The food was great! Between our family, we tried the nuggets, tenders & grilled chicken combos with thwir waffle fries! All were delicious! The atmosphere was fun! The restaurant was very clean and great service. We had interaction with 4 employees, and all were pleasant! The owner was helping our youth behind the counter learn the ropes of service while being respectful. It was nice to see! We would definitely recommend this place!

Bootleg chicken had great food and great service. Bill and the team took the time to visit with everyone. The original chicken sandwich is phenomenal - juicy chicken breast deep fried perfectly. The chicken tenders were just as good. My wife had the grilled chicken salad - also a hit - she thinks the salad dressing is delicious.A worthy stop on the way to Enchanted Rock or Fredericksburg!

Bootleg chicken is my new favorite lunch spot! Right across from the park, we can eat lunch and go play afterward.The food is very good, the staff was very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is very clean and well put together.They even have a couple of goats in the back that are the mascots 🤣Cute placeParking: Larger spots for trailers & trucks.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the building for easy wheelchair access.

Stopped here on a whim for lunch on a road trip. Food was great and everyone was so friendly! Kids loved seeing the pet goats at the back of the property too. Will definitely be a regular stop for us when we pass through town again!Kid-friendliness: Our 4 and 5 year olds loved it!

Lucky me!! I stopped by here on my way to El Paso from Alabama and ordered the original chicken sandwich southwest style and honestly this was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my entire life hands down, not up for debate ,point blank period. Will definitely be back next chance I get!The staff was also very friendly and food was super fresh!!Bootleg is top tier

Cool spot to eat and stretch your legs if you are traveling, or just have a lunch or dinner if you are lucky enough to be local. Great customer service, food is delicious. I recommend the spicy chicken club sandwich with pepper jack! But they will make it anyway you like it. Don't forget to check out the resident goat mascot behind the restaurant, and grab a piece of pie.

We stopped in one evening on the way home from a basketball tournament in Hamilton. It was pretty late when we went through the drive-through and ordered the 50 nugget tray and a few sides. They had great customer service and were very quick to get everything out. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. We ordered cream corn, but they did not have enough so the owner was whipping up a new batch. We were kind of hurry so instead, he gave us french fries and they were great as well, next time, I will try the cream corn but to be honest with you everything was so great it didn’t even matter. We will definitely stop by the next time we go through thank you to the staff for doing such a great job and the great customer service.

The tenders were just as named, tender and super juicy. They were so large I could only eat 2 of 3 that I ordered and they came with a large variety of yummy sauces. Also had the roasted creamed corn, so so good. The owner, Bill Metcalf came by and chatted with us, what a nice guy. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Kerrville.Dietary restrictions: Bill was very helpful about our dairy allergy, he made sure we were taken care of.

Food was very tasty.I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries.and samples of their tenders.Over the last few years there has been an argument over who has the best chicken sandwich. Well I’m here to tell you Bootleg has all the others beat.Stop in, staff very friendly, place is clean, food is excellent, and meet Bootleg Billy.

We had the best Original Chicken Sandwich— the chicken was wrapped in a paper/aluminum wrapper which kept the sandwich hot. This chicken sandwich out weighs Chick-fil-a. We will be back. We highly recommend you want to take a country drive go to Goldthwaite, TX to experience the chicken here. We also had hot waffle fries and a drink. They do charge extra for side sauce which would be fine if we were told in advance. With that said, both side sauces were out of this world (Chic-nDip and Boom Boom). The bathrooms were spotless, very clean and smelled good. Also a drive-thru.Parking: 7 spots to park.
