Wow, I can't believe it took me 6 years to try this place. The most excellent home cooking that I have ever tasted. Nothing was bad on my plate, sorry I started eating before I took a picture. My wife and I both said we will be back. We had the Chicken Fried Steak...LOVED IT!Parking: Parking is on the side of the building.

Delightful experience - great food. We stopped by on a rainy day for some comfort food as we were passing through Godley. We would up having the buffet and it was very good. Meat loaf, smoked sausage and chicken fried steak along with very good veggies and a remarkable salad bar. My wife and I highly recommend eating here. You won’t be disappointed.

We had family from five different cities meet at Chisholms on Saturday night. The restaurant had our table ready for us when we walked in, as promised. Our large group did not have to wait. I ordered breakfast for dinner, others had the buffet, and others ordered off menu. Our waitress handled all of it with excellent professionalism and efficiency. Thank you for a great evening.

Love coming here. Staff is downright amazing and so welcoming. Love that they interact with the customers in such a friendly manner! Good country cooking is always fantastic!Parking: Old fashion parking right in front and down the little strip.

I went Chisholm Cafe this morning with my mom and I am sorry to say this place is over rated.First the waiter did not explain how to get pancakes or waffles or eggs cooked with included with buffet would have gotten less food on buffet to get more of the cooked to order stuff .Two food buffet did not taste very good.Last and definitely not least you had a group of racist customers that were harassing the waiter about transgender jelly and just trying to start stuff with waiter and other customers. These customers should not be welcome here if their goal is to raise hell with other ppl.Any way will not be back

Stopped for lunch while in the area. Our server Bree (sp) was great. A lunch buffet filled with comfort food is the main offering. My husband tried the chicken fried steak and hamburger steak and I had bites of both. He enjoyed them very much. Green beans were very flavorful. They also had an assortment of pies and we tried the pecan, it was really good. Bree told us they had a breakfast buffet as well, can't wait to try it.Parking: Located Main street in a small downtown so a bit tight during busy times. We were there at 1 pm and no problem.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu

My husband and I enjoyed their Sat/Sun breakfast buffet menu for the third time! Since moving to the area, this has become one of our go-to spots for a hometown meal. I haven’t been here for lunch or dinner yet - that’s to come - but I really enjoy the food they serve in the morning! The buffet includes hash browns, scrambled eggs, well-spiced breakfast potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, meaty/quality bacon, cereal, made-to-order french toast, pancakes and waffles, and more…all for $11.99! You can also order the items individually if you have a smaller appetite, and their prices reflect what you would expect from a hometown favorite - they are affordable. Restaurant owners Pam and Jeff each came up to our table separately to say “hello” and to welcome us in. I am excited for the new seasonal soups because the cooler weather has quickly ushered what I refer to as “soup season”! If you live in a neighboring town, their breakfast buffets are worth the weekend drive.

We chose to stop here as part of a pretty epic road trip, plenty of parking for our two RVs being one of the factors!!The welcome couldn't have been friendlier for 6 weary and hungry travellers from the UK.. Absolutely love this spot! There's something special about a hearty, home-cooked meal in a charming small town diner. Thursday nights, aka barbecue night, are my absolute favorite – a must-try if you're in the area. The staff? Super friendly and always ready to help, but let's talk about the real star – the food. And oh boy, don't even get me started on dessert! You've gotta treat yourself to their homemade ice cream. Trust me, it's the sweetest ending to a delicious experience. You won't want to miss it!

Me and my two Littles came in for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Was not too crowded. Wait staff was very friendly. My Littles got the corndog meals and I got a Cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their food.Price was good.We will be back to try breakfast.

A hidden gem I have lived in Burleson/Joshua area all my life and have never heard of this place. With that said the breakfast buffet was amazing not only in price but in quality and taste aswell. I will be returning, probably tonight for the AYCE steak and fish. Definitely made a fat guy happy 😊Update on 9-9-23So I not only returned that day for dinner. But my family and I now frequent this restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffets the ribeyes are amazing and the shrimp are huge and cooked perfectly then my absolute favorite part the sopapilla cheesecake I order it by sheet pan when they have enough 😋 absolutely love this place and the staffKid-friendliness: They have coloring and toys
