This is such a beautiful little place. It has old school fashioned ice cream and floats. I had a banana split and it was everything I wanted! The store reminds me of an older all in one shop. It is decorated like a malt shop from the 50’s. There is so much to look at and buy here from miniature toys to bee’s wax products to t shirts. There is a little bit of everything for everyone to see while you wait for your delicious ice cream. When we got there we saw a sign that they were understaffed but this did nothing to the quality and speed of our orders. The two ladies working there were friendly, attentive, professional and courteous. We enjoyed talking to them. This is definitely a place i highly recommend.

An old 1950s style shop playing music from the 50s and 60s, A sweet elder couple, runs the shop. The ice cream was off the chart good, The toys in the shop are cool, saw some candy I have not seen in 30 years there. Overall sweet atmosphere, 27$ for a banana split, 2 scoop ice cream cup, 1 banana pudding shake medium and one harmonica and one bottle water. I thought the price was reasonable. Everything was clean, neatly priced and I can see some unique Christmas ideas here too.

Came in with my two youngest kids and got a sticker decal because we collect those and got two white chocolate-dipped pretzels. Those were ok, not the best but not bad. They also had rock candy which I hadn’t seen in a long time so I bought those and candy cigarettes for my kids for old times sake. Seems like a sweet place.

Ice cream was good but it was way too crowded in there. I realize that they can't control the amount of people in there, but there was so much merchandise! There were only 2 tables for seating otherwise they expected you to sit at the soda counter. I am in a wheelchair so sitting at the counter was impossible for me. The tables were jammed in a corner with merchandise all around. I really felt like I was in the way.

A wonderful family owned soda shop filled with candies from a bygone era.. You can sit at the bar and order a handmade milkshake. Ice cream banana splits all your favorite sweets. A very cool shop with lots of souvenirs to purchase.. Kudos to Mckenzie for making us 2 awesome milkshakes :) If you're in the Glen Rose area, you need to check out the Shoo-fly soda shop :)

Complete throw back to the good days. Old school, good feeling place. The customers are so happy, the staff is happy. Never been in a place so perfect. If your driving by this place, I would easily go out of my way to go here. There are nice little shops all around it, my wife spent two hours walking around this area. The entire experience is amazing

I really liked this place. When it is busy it smells like fresh waffles because of the homemade ice cream cones they make. The service is friendly and ready to help. And if it is a toy or candy from your child hood you can find it here.

We stopped by before going to the State Park. We sat at the counter close to where they make the waffle cones. It was lunch and a show! They make the cones fresh and while we waited on our lunch, they gave us one that didn't seal well so we could try it. It was very good.I ordered the Rockin' Robin. It is a very well made Reuben served with chips and a pickle. My wife ordered the Dean Martin. It is a grilled cheese with Colby jack, provolone, swiss American, pepper jack and bacon. It was so good. We were too full to try the Ice Cream but it all looks great! If you are in the area please stop by and give it a try!

We stopped in for lunch during our “dinosaur vacation” as we wanted to do something local instead of a fast food chain. I didn’t get any photos of the food because as soon as it showed up we all inhaled it instantly. I would say it’s more of a snack place, as it took quite a while for us to receive our 5 top lunch order. (There was also 5/6 people sitting at their only other table and they ordered riiiight before us.) They have a small kitchen from what we were told so we were patient and browsed a little before the food showed up. Stand outs: the chocolate milk shake was amazing. The grilled cheese (Dean Martin) was pretty good. My daughter said her small sundae was great and it was enough for her to split it with her step-brother and there was STILL some left over. Very cute local eatery with lots to browse and shop while your there!

The girls working were so so amazing and the stuff we got tasted fantastic! There's such a good variety of treats and eating them at the bar was Great. Its also toys and knick knacks for kinds and a boutique-esque shop in the back for Women. There's also fudge!

The three of us went for our birthday lunch...with high expectations for birthday dessert! The Reuben was the best my mom had ever had. The lettuce wedge was incredible. The fudge Sundays had a DRIZZLE of fudge...highly disappointing. I don't understand, why so skimpy on the fudge? I haven't had a Sunday in years!!!Might want to serve hot chocolate in a nice mug with whip cream instead of lukewarm in a styrophoam cup. Charge more, that's okay. But this little gem of a place could be 5 star with a few improvements.

It was such a great family experience, absolutely a neat old time soda shop, in a small town square. The staff is extremely friendly and made the experience that much better. They had such yummy ice cream and treats, as well as cute clothes, sauces, candied jalapenos, taffy, and so much more. We left with so many items! They have cool games the kids can play, outdoor seating with more games. It was a great time.

Stopped in here for lunch before heading home. Was expecting more of an experience than good food but we were pleasantly surprised. The “Rockin Robin” Ruben was the best thing we ate on our whole trip to Glen Rose. I’ll dream about it. The Nutella shake was amazing and the hand mixed sodas are too die for! Make this a for sure stop when you’re in Glen Rose!

It’s one of the cutest store that has everything for everyone. Food, milk shakes, floats, ice cream, chocolates, gift shops, candles, jams and jellies, clothings, soveniers and list goes on n on!!! It’s impossible to walk out if here without grabbing anything. We ordered coke and vanilla float and it was amazinggggggggg!!!! Wish I had bough big size, though small was just as good size but it was so good wish I could have more. My video and pics will give you a good tour, be sure to stop by and say hi to cute sweet servers who are very courteous and helpful. I love their uniforms too... hope you enjoy this place just as much.

We were here in September of 2021 for a trip we took to Dinosaur Valley park and stopped into Shoo-fly on a whim. I am sure glad we did. We haven’t stopped talking about how good the soda and ice cream was, along with the service, since we got home. We were in need of drinks today while out and about, and it came up again how much we wished there were something like this closer to us in East Texas.

Friendly owners, clean and tidy shop. We had an ice cream sundae which was delicious. It was about $5 for the three scoop sundae and as many toppings as you want. I thought the ice cream was homemade but there was a Blue Bell sign which is why I'm giving four stars.
