Don’t waste your time here, I booked 2 rooms then as soon as I went in the room you can tell it had not been cleaned nor sanitized, I removed the blanket and saw a bed bug. I immediately told the manager that I wanted to cancel the rooms. Well he never canceled the 2 charges. My credit card showed it had been charged so I called him like 4 times he promised he canceled the charges but he never did. This hotel owner is a fraud.

Don’t stay here. Rooms are very outdated, not clean, run down and smell bad. Rust on metal doorways in bathroom. Shower dirty with missing caulk and mold present. Low water pressure and little hot water in shower. Beds are very firm. Spiders found in room. Breakfast was extremely limited. Seemed like hotel is run by one family. No outside help. I will sleep in my car before staying here again. Definitely not worth $125

Please do not waste your money here!! We work out of town a lot and we stay in hotels often. Ready for work, no coffee, no breakfast. Owner was mad because I had them honor what his website said which is 15.00 per fee. He wanted to charge 25.00. We have work here but will definitely be staying at other hotel

Stayed 1-night, overall it was pricey but not sure if it was due to the location being so close to downtown and fossil rim or because it is a small town. Our bathroom had a roach in the tube and the water smelt like sewer we didn’t take a bath and we used our water bottles for brushing our teeth. Carpet had a stain and furniture look old/ dirty. They do have breakfast, however, I didn’t indulge due to me not being able to stomach the smell.

Room was pretty clean and didn't smell like cigarettes which was a concern. Front desk employees were both very kind and helpful which made check in super easy. Breakfast was ok basic but decent for the weekend. Monday no breakfast was set out probably cause everyone had checkout and we were the only guest still there. Front desk employee was more then happy to make breakfast for all of us which was present. Service was great small things here and there but nothing to complain about.

Looking for a peaceful getaway with the family ? DO NOT STAY HERE! Go To OakDale Park! Racist, dirty, and my family was harassed by employees. First, a bed bug was found on the bed. Terrible start, then when management was confronted about the bug, they said we brought it with our belongings. After that, I recorded a video of the hotel to show health dept. Meanwhile I was recording the manager, Mike, told me to leave the property as if my money wasn’t valued there, but the other (Caucasian) guests (hate to make it about race, but I couldn’t deny what I saw & heard) were getting asked if they needed help with anything . I have pictures & video of entire scene .Safety: UnsafeNoteworthy details: Disrespect towards my family on vacation

We stayed Nov 10-13, 2022 and came to Glen Rose primarily for the dinosaur tracks. TLDR; I would stay in Clebourne next time as there are higher quality options for hotel and amenities. We learned our lesson by trying to make it work here. The front desk lady the evening we checked in was phenomenal and so nice. Traveling with kids, our priorities with hotels are: getting good sleep, a good breakfast, and a heated pool. Unfortunately, this Quality Inn only nailed it on the pool and dropped the ball on the rest. The pool was heated and awesome - hot tub, too. But the breakfast was so rough. As in, there was no breakfast set out *at all* on weekdays (the set up is that the same person working the front desk is supposed to man that post AND come pick out food for you from the back room instead of just laying it all out) and the breakfast on the weekends was abysmal. Every single morning that we were there, the hot food options were the exact same - microwaved sausage patties and eggs. It was not appetizing and other options at the “buffet” were sorely lacking, especially anything fresh *at all* or remotely healthy. The overwhelming vibe is that management is cheap and stingy about providing a robust breakfast (there are a weird amount of signs posted with rules for breakfast considering it’s sad state). See photos for weekday breakfast versus weekend breakfast…both are truly laughable. The room itself was fine, though there were some stains on the bedspread and sticky spots on the floor. However, our room was on the parking lot side of the building and the curtains were too small for the window…the “blackout” effect isn’t any good if there are inches of open space around all four sides of the curtains. The plethora of parking lot lights stay on all night and our room was 7am bright the entire night. There was also a motorcycle rally in town that weekend and they reliably started warming up their bikes at sunup. Between the noise and the brightness, we slept so poorly. The front power sliding door of the hotel was also malfunctioning for our stay and we often had to manually slide open the door to exit, which seems like a major hazard.

Staff was pleasant but stay was unacceptable. Upon arriving clerk tried to charge me a pet fee more than was the posted price. Our room was suppose to be non smoking, in the bathroom there were cigarette ashes and sink didn’t drain properly. When I reported it the clerk was apologetic but explained it us hard to police guest, she didn’t get it why was I even finding the ashes if the room was cleaned. She offered to move me to another room, when I looked at that room it smelled more like smoke than where I was at. So armed with disinfectant I cleaned my own bathroom. At check out Found the whole wing I was in was smoking but the room we was in, just shaking my head that the clerk last night was trying to move me to another smoking room. Definitely a thumbs down experience.

Stay was decent. Nothing too great and nothing awful. The fridge in the room barely worked, the water smells weird and the pool was disgusting. The pool was just cloudy I could barely see the bottom. No cribs available. Although the hallways are hot as ever the AC in the rooms were great and staff was nice. Rooms were clean, Decent channels on the TV. It does the job.

We booked the Quality Inn in Glen Rose, Texas through Priceline. We had a family emergency and needed a place to stay. I did a Price breaker rate where Priceline picks the Hotel. I felt ok about it since and the Quality Inn was listed with the la Quinta and the comfort inn. My daughter and I went to the room, and found it to be extremely dirty, and honestly scary. Stains that looked like body fluids on the carpet, and furniture, cigarette burns on bedding, a broken screen and window that Faced the parking lot. It appeared that the card key on the door was broken as well. We checked out immediately, at that time I asked for the $15.00 in cash I had paid to upgrade from a king to 2 Queen beds, I had paid for the room through Priceline. After arguing with me the clerk reluctantly refunded the $15.00. At that time, I asked for a receipt that showed We had checked out, so I could dispute the Priceline charge. That was a difficult task as well. Today I review my card charges and that had run the $15.00 on my card as well. It’s a Terrible place, don’t spend your hard earned money there.

There was no power when we checked in. The room was not cleaned properly. The pillow s had blood on it. The water in the toilet s stopped working the second night. Wish I would have paid a little more and got a better room. Do not stay here you get what you pay for. They told us there was nothing they can do for us. Made our trip a horrible experience.

The hotel was just ok. No breakfast due to Covid but we didn't find out about it until we checked in. The towels will make you bleed! Bring your own!!!!!! There is a microwave and refrigerator but it was stuck in a corner, no prep space near them. They do take pets which was nice and about half of the associates were pleasant. The other half could care less if we were alive. The AC was awesome, and the pillows were excellent! Would I stay here again? Only to steal the pillows.

We have been very happy with this hotel. The room is clean and has plenty of space. Everything works. The indoor pool isn't huge but it was just the right size. Breakfast was good and even when we showed up only 30 min before it ended, all of the food options were plentiful. The staff has been nice and welcoming. No complaints.

The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast, well... I'd skip that. The AC/heater barely worked and sounded like a loud dishwasher running. Sorry to say, I'll choose another place next time.

Exactly what it says, 2 star hotel. If you're looking for a comfortable bed and hot shower this is the place. Other than that not really that great. When we arrive to a room the air conditioner was off it was hot and stuffy, it smell like somebody had just finished smoking a cigarette in the bathroom. Throughout the night the air conditioner struggle to keep the room cool then the next day after leaving for lunch we returned to a dead air conditioner. I went down to the main counter to let them know the air conditioner was broke and she turned around to a master air conditioning switch for every room and noted that it was turned off and she turn it back on...Keep in mind, we paid for a two-night stay and only been there one night... That night after arriving back around 11:30 it smelled like the dude at the counter have been smoking dope in the lobby. We made a comment about it he joked and said a skunk had snuck in the lobby earlier, jury still out on that one..Friendly people, Hot shower, comfortable bed and breakfast...2 🌟

Big rooms great and caring front desk staff and walking distance to 2 fast food places and convince store. I had to stay here three nights because I lost my debit card and I'm a choice privilege Diamond member choice Hotels gave me two nights (w/ points i didn't have but they added enough)and the owner/clerk paid for one night for me until my debit card came in the mail. Very good people. I would recommend to everyone.

The rooms are clean & comfortable; however they advertise hot breakfast when they are serving no breakfast not even grab and go breakfast, they have no ice machine they keep ice in a cooler behind the desk and fill your ice bucket the owners live in hotel and lock the doors at night you have to call a phone number to the front desk to get in to the hotel even though you have a key. The owners are very friendly and courteous however I do not believe these are the correct ways to run this place based on my experience in staying in hotels.

When i walked into the hotel, it smelled very good and clean. We went to our room but the A/C wouldn't come on. We called the front desk and she came right down. She couldn't get it to come on so she moved us to another room. That A/C worked great. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast so i can't comment on that. The room was nice, i was able to get my walker in and around the room. We will stay here again.

Honestly I really enjoyed our stay. The staff is extremely friendly and the amenities were cleaner than I expected and well staged. My family felt safe and welcome. The pool is pretty small, but hey it's I door heated and when big rock park is so close who cares. Good value to a family.

Easily accessed location, AC damn sure worked, blew super cold and made for a cozy night. Lady who checked us in was polite and prompt. The mini fridge could probably freeze hell over. Water pressure was decent for a motel, TV quality was good, and nothing smelled bad. Overall I would definitely stay there again. The were also USB ports in the alarm clock, but since I am an adult I brought my own charger and didn't need to make use of them.
