Absolutely amazing! On top of the beautiful atmosphere, perfect seating options for any visitor, and wonderful customer service, the soup + salad bar and coffees are the best I’ve ever had. I hope they expand one day. I’d love to have a Grounded Coffee location closer to home!Edit: October of 2023… had their breakfast for the first time and it was as amazing as everything else! They had a gluten free bun which made it possible for me to enjoy a sandwich like everyone else! I APPRECIATE that so much!

Wow!! The best salad bar I have ever experienced! And so many other goodies. This place of calmness is so refreshing and cute! Thank you guys for being grounded!! We are tourists and were ready for a healthy, tasty meal. Mission accomplished!

I had a negative experience here. The gentleman who checked us out asked me if my name was Sin after a less than warm greeting. I ordered a cappuccino with cinnamon powder, and I got a full on cinnamon latte. We waited 15 minutes for my husband’s tea. I really wanted to like this place, but just weird vibe and didn’t get our stuff right.

Fantastic coffee location. We frequent Glen Rose often enough that I’ve lamented their lack of a solid coffee place, so I was pleased after our visit of Grounded. Plenty of space (not evening including the study areas and meeting rooms outside the main cafe area). Solid coffee drinks with a good menu. Non-coffee drinks will rejoice with there other beverage options, and I love that they have a salad bar at lunch time—would make a great location for working an extended amount of time. Plus you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and effort into the aesthetics of the location, as well as very professional and personable staff.

We had a great visit to Grounded during our Glen Rose trip. The coffee was very good, and the atmosphere and service were both excellent! I really enjoyed my iced brown sugar cinnamon latte. This was a great stop before hitting Dinosaur Valley for the day, and I would recommend Grounded to anyone looking for some good coffee in Glen Rose!

We stopped here on our way back to Lewisville from Johnson City bc we needed a little break. This is the coolest coffee shop we've ever been to. The pastries were fresh and delicious. I had tea, which was very good. My husband had coffee which is exactly what he needed. Then we discovered there were sandwiches, a salad bar, and other menu options. Jessica was the barista who helped us and she was friendly and a welcoming smile. The whole place had a very cool vibe. I would go every day if we lived in Glen Rose!!Parking: We have a van and we're pulling a utility trailer. We easily parked in the lot.

Extremely nice coffee shop with a salad bar and great food. We were traveling through town and needed a bathroom con coffee con relaxation break. This was THE place to get all that. The staff was extremely good, and coffee was just perfect! We loved it.Worth a stop ... maybe even a detour!Parking: Right in front of the door of this little mall. Busy, but plenty of parking spots.

My new favorite coffee shop. Best soup and salad bar you will ever have. Coffee, tea and energy drinks are amazing. They have pastries and other things to order like breakfast sandwiches. Charging ports at the booths. Definitely a place to come hang out or just relax. I also attend meetings in the back meeting rooms too which is super convenient.

This place is not the place you think it is! Grounded Coffee Shop is supposed to be a "christian owned and oriented place", yet they have teenagers who are druggies working behind the counter! I have been told by young people who were former employees. Instead of firing their employee, they just go and "ghost" their workers and never communicate with them. If you ask me, that's is very unprofessional in the workplace. Grounded Coffee I am disappointed!

This is a wonderful place for coffee, tea or a sweet treat. The seating area is spacious, comfortable and looks great. My latte and was truly one of the best I’ve had.

Terrible coffee. Latte was horrible.And very very expensive. 7$ for a small. Never be back. I vote for Starbucks for Glen Rose.

Victoria is amazing! She is very attentive and a great delight everyday when me and my co-workers come for coffee. She knows our name without even seeing our face just from hearing our order . That means she truly pays attention and that is an awesome trait to have in an employee. Top notch customer service from her every time. She is the reason I will come here daily. The coffee is good as well and I have not encountered one staff that was not also a great employee , Victoria just goes above and beyond and I felt she should be recognized!!!

Well laid out, fair prices, pleasant atmosphere, and really tasty soups (I skipped on salad today).My bowl was not as clean as I would have liked, and they use plastic silverware for some strange reason.

It doesn't get any better than Grounded. Best coffee, pastries and salad bar. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff. It is a faith based, Christian owned coffee shop that is a great asset to the community. I'm a member of a small (5) men's Christian group that meet here every Friday for breakfast and discussion. It is the highlight of my week and I can't thank them enough for allowing us that opportunity to meet.OBTW the food is great

Grounded is a wonderful local coffee shop located in the city of Glen Rose, which was made well known by the Dinosaur Valley State Park and Riverbend Retreat Center. I cannot recommend enough taking the time to visit Grounded!First off, it is a Christian business, which I am all for supporting!Atmosphere: Very lovely. Lighting is just right, which can be hard to find if you have sensory processing issues. I've been several times, and each time the music playing is soft, but still loud enough to hear and enjoy. Seating may be limited during the Summer, but the majority of the time you will have somewhere comfortable to sit and enjoy your beverage or food. With armchairs to lounge in and chat with friends or family, it is overall a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.Staff/Service: Staff has always been nothing but polite, friendly, and professional yet still warm in demeanor. I've had small food items missing from an order only twice, and the staff was always very helpful in immediately getting me the delicious cinnamon cookies.My last visit on February 4th, there was an awesome male staff member I don't recall the name of. He went above and beyond in not only checking our orders for the chicken salad sandwiches were satisfactory, but asking for feedback on things currently implemented and future implementation ideas. 11/10 customer service. Listened genuinely to my friend and I's input, and gave us fruit samples before we headed out.Ps: They chill their salad bar plates, and the salad bar is to die for.Food/Prices: I literally love their cinnamon (sugar?) cookies! Every drink I've had, both coffee and other options, has always been very good. Prices could be considered high to some, but in my opinion the quality outweighs any quantity attached. They offer homemade chicken salad sandwiches that rival what Magnolia sells at the Waco restaurant here.Overall, worth a visit if you are in town!

Love that there’s a big coffee shop in Glen Rose now with tons of room to spread out and lots of outlets! Our family loves supporting local so we were beyond excited to check out this new coffee shop. The lattes were good but they def need help in the presentation department - no latte art and the milk foam was the wrong consistency. Once the presentation gets better it’ll be great! We’ll definitely visit again🙂

I was visiting Glen Rose, Tx with family while stumbling on this lovely hidden gem. If you're a fan of coffee or friendly, Christian atmospheres, this place s for you.When my family and I walked in, we were met with a bright greeting and a fun explanation about what makes the coffee shop special. The staff was friendly and the coffee was scrumptious.Would love to visit again!
