I have 2 staffordshire Bullies that for 2 years I have been taking them to other vets and just kept being told thAT my dogs had allergies. I was told to go see DR Mike and they were correct. He was so good with my animals and so is his crew. for the first time my dogs are not clawing themselves or trying to rip out their toenails. They are doing so good thanks to DR Mike..

I purchased a puppy from a breeder who was seen by Dr. Jones for his 6 week shots. The puppies from the litter had lots of dry skin and the breeder inquired about the skin condition. Dr. Jones did not perform a skin scrape (which I have been told by multiple vets should 100% be conducted) and he told the breeder it was most likely just puppy cradle cap. Sadly, our puppy has Sarcoptic mange and now so do several of our family members. We are itchy, uncomfortable, and now cannot cuddle our sweet boy for 2-4 weeks. He was also supposed to travel with us to visit family and now has to return to the breeder to wait out his quarantine. Please do not patronize this business. I spoke with Dr. Jones to let him know that I would be reporting him to the Texas Board of Veterinary Medicine. Though he is a smooth talker and I assume has great bedside manner, that doesn't guarantee proper care

It's been a very long time that I've been able to find another GREAT Veterinarian AND Office Staff like I've found in Dr. Michael Jones and Beth (Office Mgr.), and their complete caring, knowledgeable Staff. I recently moved to Bosque County and I began going to another nearby Vet Clinic and began realizing that their level of experience and knowledge just wasn't high enough to meet my and my fur babies needs so I began my search for another Veterinarian and that's how I came across Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic. Firstly, I want to say how HIGHLY impressed I am that Dr. Jones was so personable, friendly and intently assertive in wanting to dig-in to my reason for being there at my 1st appointment and carefully explaining what I should anticipate being the next steps to provide EXCELLENT Healthcare to my fur babies. One of my 3 dogs is an 18 years old miniature dachshund and needed a dental cleaning and a few skin masses removed and she also has a slightly enlarged heart and required careful anesthesia because of her condition. The other Veterinarians didn't know this about the anesthesia and simply said they wouldn't help. I'm very grateful for Dr. Jones and that he and his wonderful Staff took such OUTSTANDING care of my fur kids. I am very thankful, grateful, and blessed that I finally found another Veterinarian that I can trust with the care of my babies. I wouldn't hesitate referring him to ANYONE! THANK YOU Dr. Jones, Beth and Staff, Y'all Are AWESOME!!

Each and every visit to Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic is personal. We have just added two puppies to our family and Dr Jones and his crew welcomed them in like family. They are always professional, yet personal. Smiles are in abundance (when needed) and just the way everyone loves each of the animals that comes through their doors is obvious. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great Care team! They were able to squeeze us in after we found our dog injured after being missing for 2 days. They were able to stabilize her and sent us home with medications and education on how to help her recover. The team at GR Vet Clinic is fantastic and I would highly recommend them to take care of your animals.

The staff is very friendly and caring. We take all our pets there. We even had to lay our hedgehog to rest and they were very caring, letting us sit with her till she passed and they offer a cremation service for your pets which I love

I am extremely happy with the services I received from Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic. I didn’t have an appointment but I was told to bring my sick dog in anyway. I didn’t have to wait over 5 minutes and Dr Jones was examining my pet. He is intelligent and personable. His assessment and treatment of my dog was spot on and now she is right as rain. The staff was friendly and professional. Prices were also reasonable. I was very happy with my visit and have made Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic the only place I will take my dogs. All six of them.

Dr. Jones offers practical and good care at affordable and reasonable prices. He has worked with me in a few emergency cases after hours...I truly appreciate his availability because that is when things seem to always go wrong. He has a great doggy bedside manner! My previous vet did NOT have that quality and trust me, when you are in fear for your pet and what medical treatment to get, the last thing you want is a doc that is going to be condescending and hateful. With Dr. Jones...you will be treated with honesty, empathy, and professionalism. Another good thing about Dr. Jones is that he is very involved in our community. I like that he gives back.

GR Vet Clinic is the BEST! Dr Mike Jones is compassionate, competent, and affordable. He charges only ONE office visit for each pet each year, which means it doesn't matter whether you take Spot to see him 1 time or 100 times within that 365 day year...you pay the initial office visit the 1st time. After that, you pay only for the services rendered! Very much unlike other vets who charge the office visit every time you take Spot in.

Dr. Jones is awesome. We had an incident with one of our dogs. We're not from the area and panicked. He called us back after hours to easy our concerns. We ended up taking her to a closer vet. Dr. Jones even checked in on us the next day. I appreciate everything.

Love the service and friendliness here. My cat had surgery so i have to get a special food for him. They carry it in a bigger bag so i dont have to buy all the time. Dr. Jones is a great vet and truly cares about animals. I wont use any other vet.

Returned from vacation late on Friday evening and picked up one of my pups sick from boarding. I called after hours number Saturday morning and Dr. Jones was so nice and said he could see my pup. This is a truly caring place & I trust them totally to make good decisions about the health of my dog. On a previous visit the vet had no idea I could even see him but I was watching him interacting with my dog & I was touched by the tenderness he showed to her. My dog got sick and we took him to Banfield where I have a plan... but they kept him 2 hours then called to say (at closing) that he needed to go to a veterinarian hospital? So we called and the vet met us at the clinic after hours and took care of our sweet boy. After 2 days he’s back to his sweet loving self! And their calling to check in after he left to answer any questions was so comforting!!! We really felt their care and concern for his well being!!

I had a friend that saw a kitten fall out of a car one morning with stopped at the light on Hwy 56/67, the kitten's face was torn up. When she picked up the kitten, we called all the vets in town and Mike Jones was the only one that was willing to heal the kitten and not charge this girl. He now has that same cat at his business. Glen Rose Vet Clinic is the only reason my Apache' made it 12 years. He truly is a humanitarian. I have 2 dogs, and 3 cats and this is the only place we will every go for our vet need. I have highly recommend all my family and friend for an vet need to go to Glen Rose Veterinary Clinic. This staff is awesome and Mike Jones really knows his field.
