Great place! Waited out a storm here and the employee was super friendly!! Spent to much shopping around the neat items they had. Also had the best fried pies ever!! Restrooms nice and tidy! 10/10 worth stopping by!

Everytime I'm in Glenrose I stop in here to get fried pies. They are amazing and consistently good. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. I'm getting hungry while writing this!!!!

My husband n I were traveling through and got separated. We were in separate car's of course. Long story short...He had all money and water with him and I'd had a gas light for at least 30 miles. No AC only one working window on my mustang. Had my little dog who is very old with me. We were both very hot and it showed. The manager allowed me to bring my sweet dog inside to cool off and gave me 6$ for gas witch a customer matched giving me 12$ for gas to get me back home. God Bless those amazing stranger's who quite possibly saved my little dogs life. Im sure i looked a hot mess but these folks helped anyway. Restored my faith in humanity for sure. God bless all of you.

We stopped for the pies in the pie shop at the back of the store as recommend by friends. We were very concerned that the clerk assisting us kept touching her face and wiping her nose with her hands. I can't say that I will ever ever be back. No pie is with that risk.

Very good fried pies but they were a little expensive at almost $5 per pie. Other than that they had very nice facilities and it was the first gas station you see coming into Glen Rose. If they would lower the price of their pies this would have been a five star review

Clean and bright establishment, but don’t let that draw you in! There were no prices on anything in the store. After I checked out I realized I had paid $6.53 for a 10 oz box of cereal. I asked for a refund and was told the manager doesn’t give refunds, only exchanges. Gas is more expensive here too. Don’t waste your time or money here. Go to the Dollar General just down the road.

The coolest gas station ever! Don't buy the gas though because it's$.30 higher than anyone else in town. If they'd lower their gas prices I'd go there for everything . They have a really cool gift shop and fried pies inside.

This is just your run of the mill gas station with mediocre bathrooms. However, the staff is so friendly and you can tell they work really hard to take care of their store.

The prices here are very steep, location is understandable in some instances however less than a thousand feet down the road the prices are around 40% cheaper on some items, I've also been witness to a few female employees being mistreated by the owner on multiple occasions with text messages and me in person during phone calls as a witness, I also witnessed the owner refusing to pay an employee her final check because she quit even though she gave a two week notice and if you do a quick Google search there is dozens of employees that have also been refused to be paid, I don't like gossip or stirring up trouble however if you are a female would just like for you to consider that the owner is sexist towards women and has a history of mistreating refusing to pay them and generally acting as if they are beneath him. However as a man he is treated me with the utmost respect when I'm there, that being said there isn't enough respect in the world for me if women are being treated that way and I will never get my business again. This is in no way defamation as again I personally witnessed this and there are text messages to prove so directly from the owner as well as dozens of other ex-employees who will attest to everything I've said here in this review. I would not recommend this business because of pricing and the history with women.

Very nice place to stop. Got some souvenir t-shirts for my family and I. Got snacks and drinks as well. Service was very kind here! Store and restrooms were clean and well maintained. Great location as well.

Great bathrooms, but the sink was out of order. Great beer selection. Service was amazing. Be sure to try one of their fried pies. So good.

Never get a sub sandwich from the place. My first sub they stiffed me on my veggies. I called and complained. Staff acted like they didn't CARE. So went back and got another sub. Sandwich was DRY! Staff didn't ask me if I wanted my sub toasted. They just out right toasted it. While making my sandwich staff came out from behind counter to go get tomatoes. With the same gloves he touched my sandwich with, he touched all the cases and door. Came back behind the counter to make my sandwich and didn't change gloves. That and they are agonizingly SLOW! I used to work in a deli and THAT is major cross contamination. Good way to make folks sick!

Fairly normal large convenience store. July 2020 - masks required. Not all prices are marked on store items. Grabbed a standard, cheap case of water bottles that run $2.50 at HEB or Kroger, got to the register - $8.99! Excessive.

There prices are way too expensive. I bought 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and a package of 8 very small white powdered donuts for 10 dollars and some change. I felt like I'd been robbed and the only difference is I got change

Clean and nice bathrooms. The fried pie area was disappointing. We requested one on the menu but the worker declined to make it. There were very few in the counter.

Stay away this gas station is only out to rob you they tried charging my card 126.00 for 2 four gallon gas cans when they where marked 30 a piece no shame

Stopped in for a moment late at night. Used the restroom which was filthy, (noticed the checks were marked off on the door) and grabbed a fountain drink. The customer service seemed ok though.

The manager was yelling at staff when my family came in for hot chocolate. Super unprofessional. Will not return. Place was not clean. Prices were not marked.
