The store is very organized, pretty big and good selection of merchandise. I do not live in glenrose i was passing by and had to buy a few things. I had to use the restroom, and the restroom is why i rate it 2 stars. It was disgusting! I will add photos. I just held it in instead.

Loved Crystal and Tylina. They were very professional and very helpful! Anytime I make a trip to the dollar store they are my go to gals. They are knowledgeable and work extra hard. 😉

Its the only $ store in town. Things stay stocked often 》they almost always have the cat food i need available. The staff is friendly & helpful. There has been in instance when the bathroom floor was dirty.

Nice to have a quick place to stop in Glen Rose, but I've been unimpressed with the organization and staffing. The workers there are always nice, but I imagine corporate sets how many people are on the clock, etc, so they always seem understaffed. The workers work so hard, but it seems like upper management doesn't have their back.

Skip this DG always a long line no one to check out. NOTHING is priced correctly unless the price is printed on the product. Zero willingness to make miss priced stuff the price that it appears to be on the shelf. 4 times I told them they had the same thing still mispriced and won't honor nor fix it

I spent 30 minutes getting my things together and headed to the register to check out. There were 2 checkers, the woman in front of me had basket full and I mean full. As I approached the extra checker took off in a full run to the back of the store. I had maybe ten item in my basket, this made me so angry that I just left my basket right there and left. If I ever do decide to go to this store again it will not be in this town. I will drive to Granbury before I spend another dollar at Dollar general. I'm so angry that they are so pathetic and could care less about they're customers.i didn't want to give them any stars because they don't deserve them butt this app me give at least one. They don't deserve that one I assure you.

My black friend was treated rudely by the male cashier,hate to say it but it seemed like a nasty racist look. She had to go through the line twice and he barely spoke to her and it just seemed nasty,he even rolled his eyes at her. We were treated very friendly everywhere else so his rudeness really caught us off guard.

I lost my phone in the store. A lady I assumed was management made no offer to help me locate it. She just kept telling me to retrace my steps. A young girl helped me find it. She called my number and thats how we located it. It was in a shopping cart which was in use by another lady. So retracing my steps didnt help. It isn't the first time I have felt brushed off by some employees.

Not the easiest to see off the road. Big enough parking. Store inside was a mess easy time i came here. Staff wasn't friendly but not rude, just didn't seem to be enjoying their jobs. One of the only stores in town that sell necessities.

The one in Glen Rose is by far the best store around Granbury. It is always clean,is fully stocked and you can tell they have a great manager because everyone us always nice and happy .

WATCH OUT, because what the price tag says is one thing and once they ring it up it says another thing this has been happening for a long time. I have to tag pictures of what the price is for every product I buy just to show them to save time. It’s ridiculous

This store carries my cats cat food and litter. They are way to pricey for being a dollar general. The clothes are very high too and they will let there be a line out the door before another cashier comes to open a line. I did have a cashier that help me out when I didn't have the coins to pay for my stuff. I do thank her for that!

Dollar General can be a little overwhelming at times. Some of the isles are so packed with stuff that you cant even get the buggy through it. There is hardly ever a cashier at the register, I normally have to chase one down. The employee are not very helpful or friendly. I only shop here if I HAVE to..

I called Dollar General in Glen Rose yesterday TWICE and asked the clerks (yes, two different women) if they had small glue sticks IN STOCK, on the shelf INSIDE the store, and I was told TWICE that, yes, they had them IN STOCK, and on the shelf. 14 minutes later I walked into DG, and walked every aisle TWICE, and asking both clerks if they had them and where they were located. After going to where I was told they were, and looking everywhere, I came to the conclusion that they were out of stock on those glue sticks. If I call and I am told that they are busy and cannot look at that time to see if they are in stock or not, THAT, I could tolerate. If your clerk is too LAZY to go see if they're in stock or not, I cannot tolerate. Every time I have been in that particular DG, It has been a disaster. The people that work there don't have ANY clue what they are doing. I could run the place better than what's being done now. I'll be waiting for my $10 to arrive in the mail to reimburse me for the gas that was wasted on me driving there because of their laziness and incompetence. DG Corporate needs to take a serious look at their GLEN ROSE, TEXAS store. They are giving you a bad name.

Hammond's BBQ donated meals for the employees today 4/4/2020 on behalf of the SCCOA and the Senior Citizens of Glen Rose and the county. Also Mr & Mrs Bob Willey gave Patrick their manager $200.00; so each employee would receive $20.00 to help them and their families in this difficult time. Thank you on behalf of our family and our church families in providing for us and working hard to protect us all when we enter and exit. God Bless you all at Dollar General in Glen Rose, Texas. Stopped in for a quick shopping trip and was surprised by their selection. Had more items then I expected and was actually stocked very well. Most dollar stores are not this nice.

One of the cleaner Dollar Generals Iv been in, you can actually walk down pretty much each isle and the people are friendly ! Also the biggest Dollar General iv seen .

The store is convenient but it is pricey. I mean nothing in there is a dollar. A loaf ou'd bread is $3.00 and that's not even the good stuff. Convenience is pricey I guess.

Kind of dirty and messy. Like most Dollar General’s I’ve been in around the country. We didn’t buy anything. They didn’t have king size bed sheets and the copy paper I needed was way over priced.
