Nice park. For equestrians it's does not have many miles for riding but it's good to get them out. You can ride to the river which is nice.

The store is cute, has a ton of fun T-shirts and merch (especially in recent years as interest in the footprints has increased) and there are restrooms nearby. Definitely stop here after your camping or hiking trip.Edit: note that the photos you occasionally see of Dinosaur World in peoples' reviews are not in fact part of the state park (or their store), those are further down the road.

Trails are clearly marked and well maintained. The place is dog friendly! The dinosaur prints are clearly marked on the map. You can even wade in the water to some of them.All in all, a nice getaway only 1 hour from Fort Worth.

Nice park lots of hiking and nice views, could not find obvious dino tracks, sings might point to a section where they are. But no way to tell they are there the algae and high water maybe filling them in. Summertime might be a better time to visit to see the tracks. Needs a bit more help in sign/map guidance, kind of vague on map, maybe a picture sign on the trail with highlighted parts exactly where a footprint is, or a sign on trail saying if your heading in the right direction.

An hour and a half from Dallas, definitely a great family day trip. Do make a reservation before you head out so that you don't run into any issues at the entry.

Awesome park with great campsites and lots of dinosaur history. Park rangers were cool too. Several playground areas and horseback riding available. Lots of different hiking trails to choose and see lots of the land out there

Definitely visit the blue hole part of this park. Dress to get wet. Water shoes a must.

Great place to be with family. The tracks are slippery, bring rain boots or water proof shoes to cross the river.

It was really amazing. I rode the outer loop on my mountain bike with a friend. Everything was beautiful and well kept. The tracks were really cool. I've always heard about them but have never been. I'm definitely going back.

A cool stop by while visiting the state park. They have a good collection of rocks, fossils,apparels, lots of dino toys and decorative. Rates are very nominal and the staff is very friendly.

This was a nice quick stop to let us stretch our legs. The dinosaurs were fun, and provided a good photo opportunity. However, it felt like there wasn't very much to do for day use only.

It was pretty neat. Didn't get to see tracks cause of water levels but enjoyed the hike. Also, we didn't know this but they would appreciate it if you made reservations/purchased tickets online prior to your visit.

Good place for camping supplies you may have forgotten. Interesting souvenirs, including books about the trees, flowers and dinosaur tracks.Also you can rent small wagons to pull your camp equipment if you are primitive camping and have a way to go.

Amazing Store. The activities like fossil dig and panning for gems were so much fun. The playground areas are the coolest, too. Love the picnic tables under and awning to give adults a place to sit in the shade and watch their children play. We'll be back!!

WOW....What an experience...be prepared for a long 2 mile hike.But worth the effortGood walking shoes...plenty of water and snacks...walking sticks are helpful.Its very warm walking to and from the site know your limits...take you time and rest if you can along the way...REMEMBER IT'S A 2 MILE HIKE.....But we'll worth it to see these hidden treasures come back alive.WOW !!! WOW !!! WOW !!!
