We are RVers.Only grocery in Glen Rose. Most of the associates were friendly and helpful. Item I thought should have been available in a country town were not. I asked butcher about smoked jowls for beans. He left me belittled that I didn't think salted jowls were good enough. He didn't think the smoke flavoring was important.Otherwise, everyone else I approached for help was friendly and helpful.We understood the cost differences of big city shopping versus small town. I do know that with the variety of city stores and sales prices vs. the supreme overhead of the country groceries, we paid twice as much as city groceries. Proteins for sure must be planned for the trip.Overall, Brookshire's Glen Rose is a good place

Great grocery store. Priced a little higher than I would like but conveniently located close to me so it's a trade off. The fresh bread is good, meat quality is good plus they offer some good sales weekly.

The wine section is ok, the dairy section is a bit lacking in quality cheese's. Produce is not bad, but its no HEB.

The Glen Rose Brookshires is a wonderful. Friendle place to shop. Its always clean and has employees that are willing to help.

Nice small store. Isles are a bit tight. Not much room to look at things when it is busy. Organization is a bit weird.

I use to work at Brookshire’s, in the bakery. Very hostile environment to work in. Informed store manager and department manager, zippo done. Like I said in my opening line, I use to work there. I WILL drive to Granbury. There loss, I am a very good worker.

It is hard to find items that are not Brookshire's brand. New self checkout is nice, but staff need to give customers a little space. Invade personal space, watching over your shoulder at all times. If you hesitate at all, they are reaching over you to take over. When you ask for space, you get a haustle, aggressive response of "I'm just doing my job." Well, your job of upsetting customers and reminding them why it is always a good idea to drive to Granbury.

Usually more expensive. As much as twice the price of Kroger and HEB, even when using the membership or frequent buyer card. But, it is a good store to go to when I have an immediate need in the somewhat rural area where I live. It's clean and they are helpful. Hold on to your grocery cart in the parking lot because it is not level.

The store is very clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The District Manager even spoke to me and shook my hand. Pricing is fair, with good product selection for this type of rural store.

I just had the most amazing customer service from Pamela in the floral department. I placed an order on Instacart for a flower arrangement but Instacart has no pictures. I called Pamela and she described what she could do for the price listed and built the most beautiful arrangement! This was a birthday gift to my mother and I could not be more pleased! Thank you Pamela!!

While out camping in the Glen Rose area, I stopped by here to snag some groceries. All of the employees I came across were helpful & kind. Angela who checked me out and Easton (or maybe Weston…I don’t exactly recall) who bagged my groceries and took them out to my car were great. While being clean and updated; it still has a nostalgic (in a good way) feel. It sounds odd to say, but I enjoyed my grocery shopping experience here.

Brookshires does an excellent job. They have plenty of employees. When you have a question regarding where something is, they will walk you directly to that item. Having to stand in line at the checkout, for more than a few minutes is a rare occurrence.

Great looking store. But watch sales. They aren’t for visitor. Dr Peppers are 4-$11.0o on sale. Register rang up for $6.69 each. Asked employee why. You have to have loyalty card to prove you don’t buy more than 4. What a joke!!

Got a Birthday cake from the deli. It was awesome. They do a great job on the cakes and I'm a last minute person and they don't mind it one bit. They made a cake for me several times last minute and it was always beautiful and taste great. Good job . They always make me feel welcome and they are all very friendly.

I never thought I would be writing a review for a grocery store but this one blew me away with the kindness of each employee. This is how customer service should be modeled after! Even my 9 year old daughter had commented how nice the store was and the employees!

Update: still very organized, clean, and friendly customer service...They keep it very clean, organized and stocked as much as possible. The workers were extremely nice! The names I remember are Angie, LeeAnn and Andrew. They were very nice and helpful.
