Highly recommend. Our sweet dog gashed her leg open on a sharp object during ball play, and required medical care. Healthy Paws accommodated our emergency with patience and caring. Even tho they seemed very busy, they squeezed us in quickly, gave no-nonsense and effective treatment, and were refreshingly easy to work with.

Healthy paws animal hospital is a great place Seems like to take your pets when they have medical needs.I am currently fostering a dog for a rescue society that needed a foster person and I have been taking the dog to healthy paws for multiple issues to get the dog well so we can find it a new home.Healthy paws have worked with both me and The rescue society in payments and have been really good at getting the dog taken care of, which is the primary deal.The staff have all been so very kind and helpful.The facility is very clean and well kept. The information regarding her condition and care was thorough and choices for ongoing care communicated clearly, while allowing me to make the choice I felt best. Love this place! Caring staff…from the time you walk in and are greeted by the front of the house staff to the interaction in the exam room, to the doctors taking their time with each patient and explaining everything to the hooman. ❤️ Truly cares for the wellbeing of their patients!

I love that they take great case notes each visit. Even the smallest details from previous visits they will bring up, remember, and consider, which is awesome and allows for great continuity of care, regardless of which doctor sees my dog each time. They are also very kind to her even though she is a very difficult and fearful dog when at the vet. They do their best to make the experience as quick and painless as possible.

I travel to the area regularly and have a hot mess Chihuahua that comes up with the most random issues at random times. HPAH was able to get her in on the same day and Dr Chambers was very informative and recommended the best route for diagnosis and treatment based on my pups long medical history. We did a couple tests and she clearly explained the results and which medications would be best. This will be our primary care when we are in town. It was a great experience all around from booking, checking in and the exam. Everyone was welcoming and genuine.

Couldn’t have had a better experience in an otherwise heartbreaking circumstance. The staff was professional, worked us in for an emergency, and sent us a handwritten condolence card. I cried like a baby when we received it. A little glimmer of unexpected kindness. They’re always very helpful on the phone. We take our newly adopted pup there today actually. I can't praise this place enough! New to the area- former vet for many years was in Athens. My dog Mister Kye ( pit bull) got hurt yesterday afternoon and we weren't sure if he got hit by the delivery truck or what, but could hardly walk. Still in pain and limping this morning, I decided to check a vet nearby. I read the reviews for Healthy Paws and wanted to give it a shot. The lady on the phone was super nice, compassionate and got me in within just a couple of hours!! Then upon arrival, all the ladies at front desk were so sweet.. the two techs we saw first were amazing.. had to take his blood and the tech holding my Mister Kye was kissing him on his head to try and calm him down. Then, Doctor Spencer and his assistant came in and they patiently listened to my story, thoroughly examined him...also with much compassion. Ended up needing to do x-rays to make sure no broken bones and prescribed pain and inflammation medicine. This is now our forever vet. LOVE LOVE LOVE them and thank you so much for taking such wonderful loving care of my fur baby!!

I had to take in my dachshund Butter today due to some unusual stomach issues and everyone from the front office staff to the tech and doctor were absolutely amazing! He is our first puppy so the process was new but they made me feel like they had been seeing us for years. We definitely will return for sure if we have any future sick or injury visits!

Dr Lane and her crew literally saved my little girl life. Communication was top notch. Dr Lane even transferred my girl to the ER room herself on ice roads. Definitely the best Veterinarian Practice and I 100% recommend it for your fur babies care.

Had to take my Dixie there to get looked at and they were so sweet! They gave my girls coloring pages and made them feel comfortable while they took me to talk private about the options we had. We had to end up putting her to sleep. They were so kind during the whole process! And then received a card a mail. Thank yall for everything yall do! Keep up the awesome work.

Dr Lane was fantastic! and so was the tech with her. They explained everything well & gave us many options for how to handle everything. We are new to the area & so happy we found them. We spent "ALOT" of money today but we got everything handled for a year. They were very much "no pressure" if we wanted to go cheaper or more expensive. It was a very pleasant experience.

My little brother Sparky had an upset tummy and couldn't eat. The Dr's took great care of him. The only down side is he is feeling better and stealing my toys again. 5 woofs!

I highly recommend Healthy Paws Animal Hospital for your fur babies needs! The staff there are super friendly, knowledgeable, and make you and your pet feel comfortable. My 9 year old dog, Sophie, is always nervous coming to the doctor but the vet techs Danni and Heather did an awesome job comforting her by petting and giving her treats 😊 Dr. Points did Sophie’s exam and was absolutely AMAZING. She has a very calming demeanor and was a perfect fit for us!

i have always been very anxious when taking my sweet girl to the vet, due to the unexpected. when we first visited y’all, the unexpected happed and we got a very scary diagnosis. Dr. Spencer made sure to me in detail what i needed to know and what we needed to do to get started on treatments. when i dropped her off in december for her first round, i was utterly nervous. our vet tech ( i unfortunately forgot her name, but i appreciate her with all my heart) made sure to answer all of my worried mom questions and made me feel so at ease. i believe i called around 800 times that day just to check in, and everytime i did, the front desk ladies were ALL so caring and helpful. even when apologizing for calling so much, they gave me comfort by letting me know they completely understood why i was calling. when picking her up, the front desk ladies also let me know just how much they loved my girl and told me how much they were going to miss her! her second and third round of treatment was 100x worse due to her being gone for 2 days instead of 1. again i called about 1000 times over the course of 2 days, but the ladies told me everytime everything i needed to know, gave me comfort when expressing how anxious i was, and made sure to call me with any updates.y biscuit is my whole world. she’s been with me through several of my difficult times over the last 7 years. watching her go through something so horrible has been so hard to see her go through. having an entire vet office show her so much love, care, and support during this time is everything our family needed. i can never express enough how thankful i am and will continue to be.

Everyone was phenomenal, from the individual who checked me in, to the vet tech, to Dr. Lane Arrendell. I was quite distraught based on my dog's symptoms, but they helped calm my anxiety, explain the diagnosis, and gave me a plan of action. They didn't try to pad the bill with a plethora of tests or meds, which I would have paid for at that moment, and instructed me to give her body the time to heal itself. They were incredibly kind and understanding. Hopefully, it will be a long time before I need to make such an appointment again, but when I do, it will be here with Dr. Arrendell.

We had a stray show up a few months ago would eat and leave for days or weeks show up again always really sweet and loving. We found her under the house a few days ago with a broken front leg. I called Healthy paws and they got her in fairly quickly thankfully because she was in so much pain. She had to have it amputated and they did a great job with fair prices! Staff is very friendly, informative and the Vet is great and really did an awesome job on our now adopted Emi. Thank you Healthy paws for saving our kitty!

Always a great experience when taking my fur babies there. They take good care of them while keeping them up to date on their vaccinations and any health issues. We've been a happy customer for over 20 years and four dogs.Update 8/1/23 - My Yorkie mix, Kona got such good care there. I took her in because she was outside too long and got over heated in 105 degree weather. She was very limp and scared me. After placing some cool water on her and placing her in front of a fan, she was not getting better so off we went to Healthy Paws in Gladewater. They took her right in and started her on fluids. Dr Spencer and the staff got on it right away and she was able to go home with me and a follow up of more fluids the next day. She is doing fine now even though I watch her like a mamma bear.

Healthy Paws in Gladewater TX has provided excellent care to our 4 dogs, Inc annual exams, surgeries, and dentals. Several professional down to earth vets and techs. They were very sweet and so compassionate when we had to euthanize our very elderly dog. Their exams are thorough and office staff friendly. They have modern equipment and exam tables that lower for larger or debilitated dogs to easily get onto. They also have a convenient online pharmacy for refills shipped to home. And PetDesk phone app avail for ease of scheduling appointments. Love them!! ~~ RIP Cocoa (17yrs)
