I want to tell you what was the best experience I ever had at the Dollar general yesterday. The assistant manager had someone working there yesterday that would not help me when I walked in the store because I was there to buy some Cokes in a few things. I said y'all don't have any Cokes on the shelf back there or out here anywhere but you have them on sale he's the one I'm sorry. He didn't care. so I asked the assistant manager I said do you not have any Cokes really you know I said because that's the main reason why I came here I'm on a monthly budget and I can only come once a month because I can't drive and so she said hold on a minute let me go check him back. She come out with the 12 12 packs that I needed. she is the only one that cares about the customers in that store. I want to let you know she is a marvelous assistant manager she went way beyond the call of duty I guess and most storage now. She did what was right. And she did it with no hesitation. I want to let you know she is a great assistant manager she should be running one of those stores. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed her and everyone else that was behind me because they were having to wait on me. Dollar general is a number one!

This store is filthy. Absolutely disgusting inside and out. You can’t hardly get a shopping cart down some of the aisles. The employees are always nice though. But the mess!

I wouldn’t recommend this location. Caught the night manager smoking a blunt outside some little girl with purple hair. The assistant is stealing left and right her and her husband all the employees have a attitude problems.. the store manager is a complete mess has no idea how to run a store or manage her employees. They just lost there best employee I will not go in anymore because everyone else is either stoned out of there skin can’t help me or are incompetent chip really needs to get a new store manager in there because it’s worse than when Rachel was there atleast Rachel was nice and never lied about a product was always helpful I normally went everyday before work and after but now I will not go in there until there is new management.

3 stars but still 4 more than Family Dollar. There are many items that are out of stock and they could do a better job of stocking the regular shelves versus completely redoing the whole promo aisle for Halloween. I mean... why can't we buy soda or coffee? Need to better prepare for sales or price drops (manager) to keep up with demand. I like how Dollar General is quick to bring in "new items".

I love the Dollar General and all locations are different. This particular location on the day of my visit was a little rough. Items all in the floor and we couldn't even go down some of the aisles. They do have great prices on most items and I use the digital coupons.

My experience today at this store was a very rude experience. I have shopped at this store for more than 7+years and never have been treated with such rudness and such disrespect. People that are rude and disrespectful should have NO place in a Customer Service Atmosphere At All! There are hundreds/ thousands of people that are seeking jobs with great attitudes and would be Grateful just to have a job today.

I've hardly ever had a shopping experience where I could t find what I was looking for. If I didn't see something on the shelf the employees have checked in the back for me. The prices are great compared to bigger chain markets and the registers actually have people working them. There maybe a line at checkout sometimes but what do you expect from a small town store. The digital coupons save me even more money just make sure you download the app and clip your coupons before going into the store for the internet reception inside is horrible. At checkout just put your number in and all your coupons will b deducted. The employees have a sense of humor and although they stay busy (never see anyone sitting around) they are always willing to help out.. Thanks Guys..

Professional and friendly staff who was willing to help me. I was looking for a table however, they had sold out of them. I bought my item and left. The store was clean and well stocked.

Worst store I have ever been in. It's an absolute mess! I have gotten charged extra for things I haven't bought. I have picked up things that I thought were a certain price and turns out it's in the wrong place. They need a brand new management! Brand new staff. If you feel short of dopeheads go to the dollar general in gladewater... you will be sure to find them!

Staff is ridiculous! Staff was in the back of the store talking about how they should have called the cops on a customer but she wasnt worth it because shes trash!!! So that means no one was at the front of the store and the staff proceeds to talk about how rude customers were for leaving items!!!!! Plus you can barely walk around this store, its a wreck.

the cash is there a very friendly and willing to help you if you can't find anything if they are able to leave from behind the register they will bring them directly to what you're looking for if not they make sure somebody else does

I wasn't very pleased with the way the store looked. It's always cluttered when I go into purchase something, making it difficult to maneuver around comfortably in the store.

Second time this week I’ve been in this location….it is filthy then with this new self checkout even when the buggy’s in front of you are FULL the employees are on their phones instead of actually checking others out.

Cheap place to buy things, and not only that the gentelman in there , the black guy when I was having hip problems where I could barely walk he would get the things that I needed he was so very kind and I would recomend this place highly to anyone. One of my angles for sure

there was more shelves without product than there was stocked shelves, a ubolt of dog food sitting in front of paper products. I only use this store when its a must.
