I don't know what's wrong with CVS pharmacy in Gladewater but something sure is!The staff is sometimes very nice,other times rude. They don't follow through with Dr/patient requests even though you repeatedly keep checking on the progress. They always have an excuse as to why something isn't done when it's supposed to be. I don't know if they don't have enough man hours to do their jobs properly,if not they need to have more hours allotted to them. They definitely DO NOT go above and beyond! After my most recent experience I will be trying another CVS, taking money out of our small community. What a shame.

Prescriptions are NEVER ready when they say they’re going to be. The staff is mostly nice. I try to take into consideration the job they have to do, the people they have to deal with, etc. but it’s SO frustrating when you have sick kids, get out of the house to get their meds, only to be told “sorry we’re going to lunch in ten minutes, try again in about an hour.” It’s like this every single time, but sadly this is our closest pharmacy :(

If I could I would give this location 0 stars because of Special Kay. Special Kay is by far the rudest "customer service" associate I've ever experienced anywhere! After informing my girlfriend that it takes up to 20 minutes for coupons to reach their system from my girlfriends phone Special Kay kept her attitude. After getting in the car my girlfriend decided to go back in and purchase something that she needed to purchase earlier but felt Special Kay didn't want to do her job so she decided not to get it the first time around. I returned into the store and watched as Special Kay rudefully threw my girlfriends item in the bag displaying her "customer service". As we were walking out I turned to Special Kay and informed her "Maybe next time, do not throw people's products in the bag!"

Place is a joke, line out the door everytime I'm there slowest moving place ever, then when you finally make it the counter your scripts aren't all the way ready even though you got a confirmation text saying it was, beyond frustrating.

I try to call and got hung up on 2 times. I cannot refill my controlled medications without talking with them. Very aggrevating !

I have used this pharmcy for over 10 years but never again. I am unable to get my diabetic meds refilled amd pay out of pocket because their system will not allow them to since my insurance will only cover a 90 day supply never have i heard of such a thing. Time to find another pharmacy.

I was prescribed ivermectin during the COVID pandemic and these NPCs refused to fill my prescription because "orange man bad." I had to go to the Brookshires Pharmacy, and they filled it with no issues.

I have never had anyone in this CVS treat me poorly. They have always been extremely helpful and cheerful. Both in the pharmacy and on the sales floor. The photo attendant is always happy to help however she can. I have always had pleasant visits to this CVS. I'm thankful for that since they are by far the cheapest and closest to my house.**Update**If I could add more stars I would. My wife and I went to christus today, in the same parking lot as CVS, and in the amount of time it took us to get out of the clinic and to the pharmacy counter at CVS, we had already been called twice. Once to inform us that my wife's prescription had been bumped up and once to inform us that it was ready for pickup. Thanks CVS staff!

I would give it a zero star. The only option available to me that’s even close to what I would rate this place is one star. The pharmacy I shop at was out of my prescription, so I call this one, and they wanted to wait two hours before they even call my pharmacy to get my prescription. I’m sick with an awful infection and it’s not even a drug that you have to mix. It comes in a box, and they told me I had wait until the afternoon which was 3-4 hrs to get my medicine, when there was no line, no reason for me to wait. Terrible place.

While the Pharmacy is great, for the most part, their service for UPS drop off is not. My packages will sit there for 3 days before being picked up. One problem is the same older lady that works the front counter.

My wife went in to get the Covid vaccine. The sign on the front door says walk in’s welcome, as well as the recording. We walked to the counter and were met by Laura, the pharmacist. She advised my wife she would need an appointment. While talking with my wife, she advised that they were just too busy and she would need to schedule to come in. There was absolutely nobody in the pharmacy area whatsoever. My wife told her there was nobody there and couldn’t she get the shot now and Laura stated no, she had prescriptions to fill. We left and my wife called back and spoke to Laura. My wife advised her that their signs and recordings stated walk ins welcome. Laura became very combative and said she had over 500 prescriptions to fill and she couldn’t do everything. The simple fact is she did not want to be bothered. Absolutely pathetic. When my wife asked for her supervisor, Laura hung the phone up on my wife. Why is CVS in the vaccine program if they’re going to respond like Laura? A total disgrace to CVS.

I looked for and did not find an OTC product so went to ask about it at pharmacy. Stood in line behind 2 other customers and waited. When it was finally my turn the lady behind the counter moved over and waved the guy up that just got there . I left went next door to brookshires found what I needed . I will not go back to CVS again .

The manager of the pharmacy. Guy he's always has a chip on his should. You try being nice and it doesn't work. I had to get my regular pharmacist to call so he'd fill my pain meds. Walkers pharmacy is a 10 star compared to this cvs. I guess He thinks all senoir citizens are. Drug dealers that's how I felt. There's no excuse for his attitude. He needs to go to manor school and be trained properly. I'm 66 yrs. Old and never been treated like this from a pharmacist. My step son is a pharmacist so I know what there dealing with on a daily basis. He needs to find another job.

I have already posted my disgust in these two employees Shannon or Katy. Don't know where that young lady Tiffany or Tiffy whichever her name may be is that I've encountered that makes the store so pleasant is but they need bring her back. Those two fly mouth friends lost y'all couple customers. Do folks not have customer service classes and how not to be disrespectful when talking to folks. Js

This location is charging much more than they should for prescriptions. At Walmart I paid $15. At this CVS the same prescription was $70. At King Soopers I also pay $17. I'm trying to figure out where to report them. BUYER BEWARE!

The pharmacy staff is extremely rude. They seem as to not understand they themselves are not Dr.'s. Always has excuses. I would strongly recommend anywhere else than Gladewater location

Never had a problem with this place except that they didn't accept my parents VA insurance which didn't make any sense to me. But the employees since they built the store have been great.

Was looking at toy cars and an employee came by to "look" at the medication right beside me. I nicely said "oh sorry excuse me" and the ladey just said in a rude voice uh huh. Id wish they were nicer.

The store was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful, and Kay stopped everything she was doing to help me find what I needed. All in all, a wonderful experience!

The manager Kay was extremely condescending & rude to my mother & I when making a return. Corporate wasn't happy to hear that either.
