I FINALLY had a chance to stop by this cute little place in Giddings, TX, and it didn't disappoint! I was surprised to find out that it's not only a cafe, but a pizzeria! I was craving bacon, so I ordered a WONDERFUL 😋 (the BEST) BLT, and fried raviolis that rival any Houston upscale restaurant! Oh! The coconut cake was too good to describe 🤗 If you're headed to Austin, don't just drive through Giddings. Stop and experience what their locals have to offer. They might just surprise you 😉

We did not get to try the food. Although it looked good, we stood around for about ten minutes at the register but no one stopped to take our order... Not sure why, as there were only about five other customers in the restaurant, all who already had food. :-(We'll try again some other day.

Update... March 2024 @ new location. Quality of food seems to have dropped significantly. Atmosphere and service also seem less than before. Noticed quite a few new faces.... Order correctness is hit and miss. Prices have also risen a good amount for less quality. The bigger building does allow for more seating. However, the feel is just a warehouse feel. Bathrooms are quite nice, though.Good food. We like a few of the sandwiches and salads. Today we tried one called "Fallen Angel" and a Greek salad.Fun ice cream, kids loved it, and the fudge is great.It's clean and it's a cute setting with lots of classic movie and concert posters and photos. IE, Elvis, James Dean, Dirty Harry.We will return again.Features: Cashier wore a mask. Make are not mandatory for customers.

My husband and I love Reba's!! Their burgers and fries are great. They also have a couple nice dark craft brews- one is an oat stout, if I remember right. They just moved into a MUCH larger space, and though they're busy most of the time, they still take good care of folks.Parking: It's street parking, so on weekends and at busy times, you might not get to park right outside, but we have never had a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place and it seem like this place loves kids. ♡

Recently reopened! Cute diner vibe on 290 in Giddings. A great stop between Austin and Houston.We got the Pizza - fresh toppings, good crust. Added a lot of crushed red peppers as not too flavorful otherwise.I want to try the sandwiches/ burgers next time and the menu looks great!Easy parking on the side road by the building. Not sure how much parking there is though on a busier night.They have hand-dipped bluebell and shakes too!

Came here to meet up with family, and this place just happened to be halfway between all of us. I'm going to be honest, I wasn't expecting much but the moment we walked in, I could tell we were in for a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly, the food all looked fresh and delicious, and the overall ambiance is something that can only be found in a small town. I had a burger, fries, and fried ravioli and everything was shockingly good. The burger was one of the best ones I've had in a while. Despite living an hour away, I will definitely be returning to try more food!

Great place to stop on our road trip! Drove through on a Saturday afternoon and wanted something other than fast food. Lots of options on the menu. My son and I got burgers that were delicious and fresh. My daughter loved their personal pizzas and my husband ordered the french dip sandwich. It wasn't super fast service, but it was a nice break from the car. They seemed to be short staffed because tables were left dirty for quite a while when people left. We would definitely stop here again!

I'd been planning to go to Reba's with my family, but stopped while on a solo trip back to Houston. To be fair, I went in at the worst time to go into a restaurant and get the full experience, between 2-4p on a weekday, but I can see the potential. It was practically empty. Everyone there was nice. I ordered the Dirty Harry, which was essentially a pastrami/corned beef reuben, and I asked for all pastrami. The sandwich was quite tasty, but it was the skinniest reuben I've EVER had and with the smallish serving of meat, the sauerkraut overpowered everything else. Increase the meat portion and the dressing; a reuben is supposed to be daunting and messy! The fries were fresh and hot - really good. I've passed by Reba's on my trips between Houston and Austin and it looks pretty festive, especially at night, like there's good food and a good time, so I'll have to give it another shot.

The food was fantastic and the service was great. We've had really good burgers before but this one hit the mark - large juicy burger with soft, toasted, crunchy buns and fries that were perfect. Chocolate silk pie - amazing! Passing thru so we'll definitely make this a "must stop" when traveling. Stop here to eat - you won't be disappointed.

A very cool little place right on the main drag in Giddings. One side is the emporium with amazing looking fudge and Blue Bell ice cream by the cone or cup. The other side is a very nice little restaurant serving lots of soups, sandwiches, and salads. Everything we had was very good, but not great. The decor is classic small town, carefully curated, funky and a little corny. The ladies working there could not be nicer. This will be a regular stop of ours when coming down 290.

We stopped by on our way through town and it was pretty quiet. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and some garlic cheese curds and garlic knots. The cheese curds came out first and were amazing. They were light and tasty with excellent breading. The garlic knots came out before we finished and they were about what you'd expect with a large bowl of sauce which was quite good. The pizza showed up not too long after. Flavors were great and it was crust was perfect. All the toppings were fresh. It was cooked perfectly. Overall we had a great meal!Will definitely be happy to come back if I'm ever passing through again!

First time eating here and giving it a try since I've heard nothing but good feedback about the place with word of mouth, Food was very good, definitely worth the high prices. Customer service was horrible, staff seemed to all have attitudes, none seem to enjoy their jobs none of them were friendly or welcoming. Would be nice to not be rushed to order our food, told to sit down and then order when ready, when there was no one at the register besides me and my family. Hope the owner reads this review and talks to their staff about improving their customer service skills.

Gem of a place, serving fresh pizza, hand tossed right in front of you, delicious soup, and great sandwiches, with quick and friendly service. Large selection of fudges, and BlueBell ice cream. But it’s ultimately the ambiance of the place, and the friendly service that really make it stand out, and will likely have me coming back.

I walked in 5 minutes after they opened, bleary eyed and desperately seeking coffee. I asked for the biggest cup of coffee I could take to go. A dude behind the bar asked if I could wait for him to brew a pot.He did not disappoint. Now I feel like I can manifest the will to live through my shift. Thanks, bearded bar guy. You're a real one.

Wow. Just wow. The food is exemplary. The people are friendly and the place aforable.I had lobster bisque and chicken lorraine quiche. Mom had chicken salad and potato soup.Too much food!! This was hands doen the best quiche ive ever had.Do NOT miss stopping at Reba’s in Giddings!

Is a great go to place in Giddings. Food is pretty good, service is something to be desired but given time I imagine it'll be great. Atmosphere is good though. Haven't had anything bad on the menu yet.If the staff would put silverware out slightly quicker it'd help. Overall good food and great atmosphere. Nice place to sit and have a pizza

First time visitor & let me start off by saying wow, such sweet people. 🖤 Not to mention the food was really delicious. Pizza, soups, salads, sandwiches, lasagna. Lot's to choose from! An ice cream emporium is also connected to the restaurant where they make their own fudge as well as ice cream cones! Both are scrumptious so be sure to make room for that dessert. 😋Thank you for the warm welcome & all the kindness you showed to us today. 😊A special thank you to Desideria ( I really hope that's right! ) for being so loving & fun to chat with!
