Everybody at this location is so friendly. The facility is beautiful & very clean. I was taken back for my appointment on time, Dr. Davis & her assistant were very helpful & thorough answering all my questions. I had a hiccup with getting a prescription on my end & Shea was super helpful in assisting me with a temporary resolution. I have & will continue to recommend Zoot to my friends & family & anyone I meet looking for a reputable vet!

We moved here a little over a year ago and are so happy we got it right the first time with our fur baby's vet. All the staff and vets that we've dealt with are amazing. The facilities are beautiful and clean. They always call to see how our boy is doing after his visits. They offer other services but we've not taken advantage of grooming or boarding - always nice to know that it's an option though. Highly recommend l!

There are so many great things to say about Zoot Pet Hospital! First, I am always greeted with a smile and friendly admin person that gives me the instant reminder that I've come to the right place!. I always see Dr. Ericka Davis who I can not say enough about. Dr. Davis clearly loves animals and her passion and care shines through each time I see her. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in her examination. My last visit I brought my dog in for allergies and I had no idea she had a terrible ear infection until Dr. Davis found it in her exam! My dog is so much more comfortable with her infection on a quick mend thanks to Dr. Davis. I've lived in the area for a long time and have seen many veterinarians. Zoot is by far the best; as is Dr. Ericka Davis!

My dog is a biter, but the staff are aware and are very good with him. Dr. Trip was very informative and spent all the time we needed to explain what's going on with Billy's health issues. Her assistant was great. Would definitely recommend Zoot.

I used to love Zoot, they've always taken great care of my dogs. However, they've had some staff changes, and now I can't even reach my vet. They took blood from my dog on February 8th for almost $200 didn't even see the vet, just a tech. Have called several times since and emailed to get results and two month later still haven't been able to get results from any of the vets. Very unfortunate, we really loved our vet at Zoots but I guess I'm going to have to start looking for another vet.

Another great experience for me and my dog. Such kind and caring people, from the receptionist to the doctor.We were seen quickly but once in the exam room the doctor and her assistant took all the time necessary to exam Denali and explain their findings.

Zoot has been my vet for 10 years and I love them. Recently I boarded my very elderly cat Bill for 2 1/2 weeks and I was very nervous how he would do since he’s pretty much a barn cat. To my delight when we returned I found he was in better condition than when we left! He had obviously been pampered - I was told he was brushed every day and loved it. I am so grateful to the boarding staff for treating him so well. I thought Bill might be declining but after his stay he seems to have quite a bit of life left. Thank you Zoot!

The staff is nice, I'm just concerned that they see our dog, and we never get a fix. It's "give him this, do that, he'll be fine". He's not. They take our 300-400 per visit and we are in the same boat every time. Revolving door of pay money, no relief. Very frustrating....

Lovely place! I took our dog, Belle, here for the first time for a grooming appointment. The staff was very nice and accommodating from the moment we were in contact about a week prior. They made sure our doggie that has a lot of anxiety was taken care of and not in a kennel for too long.The building itself is beautiful and well taken care of. When I was waiting in the waiting room during drop off and pick up, I overheard several customers that were long-time customers being called by name (both owner and pet) and talking about how comfortable and safe this place is for their fur babies. Can’t wait to use this place again for grooming and other services.

We’ve been coming to Zoot for 8 years. The offer the very best care, boarding and grooming. I’ve noticed there is very little turnover in staff so they must be doing it right. I have Standard Poodles and Kristen is the BEST groomer in Central Texas.

My Lab was very sick when I brought him in- they squeezed him in to be seen. Throughout day they kept me informed every step of the way. They recommended imaging to achieve a full diagnosis- they called the imaging facility (Sage) and upon diagnosis they gathered the RX for us to pick up 15 minutes before they closed.Our Vet-Dr.Cannata was caring, compassionate and generous with her time.Happy to say our dog is on the road to recovery. No hesitation to say Zoot is where I will continue to take my dog.

Our vet tech, Amber, and Dr. Tripp were amazing. We visited Zoot for the first time earlier this week and it was the best vet experience I’ve had. The staff were friendly, everything was clean, and Amber and Dr. Tripp were both patient, informative, and kind. Loved them!

My family has been using Zoot for a little over a year. We originally went with Zoot since it is so close to our home. It breaks my heart that my dog was mistreated and they financially profited on this occurrence. My shih tzu is 14.5 years old and went in for her senior check up. I brought up that she had a good sized cyst on her mid back. We decided to try to drain the cyst and proceed with lab work. They took her out of the room to get the specimens. She was shaking when she got back to the room, so I held her until she calmed down. She was in extreme pain later that evening where she cried when I picked her up which was odd because I avoided placing pressure on the mid back cyst location. It was Sunday when my husband was holding our dog, that I noticed bruising on her lower abdomen.When Zoot called early the following week with her lab results, I mentioned the bruising on her stomach. They raised some alarm because the cyst possibly had some mast cells. She went in the next day to be examined, they redid lab work to check that she wasn’t bleeding and had no issues with clotting factors. All of the repeat lab work was still normal. Zoot tried to place blame for the bruising on her lower abdomen on heparin release from potential mast cell needle aspiration. This would be clinically possible but there was no other signs of histamine/heparin release like a diffuse rash, nausea, vomiting, or itching. The only source of bruising was were she was held. Also, the cyst area on her mid back was smaller without bruising and no bruising from blood draw. Unfortunately they did not acknowledge that mishandling our dog caused this bruising. My husband is right, you can tell where they held their hands while doing the procedure. Zoot should have acknowledged their mistake and not charged an additional $272 work up fee for trying to place blame where it does not belong. Hopefully Zoot uses this profit to invest in learning fear free safe handling techniques or allowing owners to help. Physically my dog has recovered but emotionally I do not think she will. When my husband took her back for the reassessment, she was no longer showing signs of pain. However, once inside the waiting area, she started shaking and whining during the entire visit. Once we left, she returned to her normal baseline showing no signs of anxiety or pain. I believe she was scared and traumatized by her experience.

We are just getting started with the process of boarding our dogs with Zoot. So not much to review. They did spend a good deal of time with us on the phone explaining everything, and that was much appreciated. Multiple neighbors have had nothing but high praise for Zoot, so I suspect we are going to be pleased.

My dogs love Zoot. It’s the only place I feel comfortable leaving them with. And they love Barnes! Your pet stays in suites. No cages here. They get their own little patio so they have plenty of space to move around. And that makes me feel more comfortable knowing they have their own area where they can move around freely. Highly recommend!

They are always very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of my animals. I have 3 dogs, one of whom is 18 yrs old and 1 Red Eared Slider Turtle. I was amazed the last time a received a vaccine notice, for my senior dog, from a different vet, I decided to come to Zoot instead and found out he didn't even need to be getting the vaccines for the last 3 years! The old vet just kept taking my money and injecting my dog unnecessarily. That sealed the deal for me - this is where I will bring all of my pets every time!

After being quoted $800-900 to drain a hematoma on my dogs ear, the tech had a meltdown in the waiting room after I asked her if the anesthesia was human grade and if there were other options available for sedation as my dog is older. It very obviously offended her that I had mentioned that I previously worked for a clinic, maybe she wondered why I didn't just automatically agree with what she said. She gave me a blank stare and then immediately became defensive/rude and said that her managers treated her poorly and she was already ready to walk out and quit. I asked her to not project her anger on to me and then she stated I was being condescending. The customer service has been lacking every time we have come in but this was a deal breaker.

As usual, Spicy Cat got an appointment at a convenient time for him. I couldn't coax him into his carrier, and so when I arrived with him in a storage box, they were ready with one of their own carriers! They're always so nice over there, and they act like Spicy Cat is their favorite pet, and they tell me he's definitely the cutest...and he is! We love Zoot!

We love Zoot!! We trust them with our dog who has a handicap and they do amazing with him!Zoot did such a great job taking care of my dog while we were out of town. Cindy is so kind, and sent me updates, pictures and asked any questions to make my dog the most comfortable. The whole team is very trusted and treats the pets like their own. We will be back next time we need to board my dog. Big fan of Zoot, their staff and the extra care they provide.

We love how they take care of our cat. They are never pushing too far and let everything happen naturally - if possible. There were times they told us, they couldn’t take a blood test because they feel like our cat has enough for the day and we really appreciated how they take the pet in consideration instead of just getting a job done.We also board our cat there and he really likes it. Years ago I boarded him somewhere else and when I came to pick him up, he screamed as soon as he heard my voice. But whenever we drop him off or pick him up at Zoot, our cat is super relaxed. He doesn’t even seem as if he missed us. I think this is a great sign! And I know everyone at Zoot loves our cat Heman too.

Love this place! My senior dog has diabetes, and it’s been so hard for me to leave her anywhere. But after a couple of great experiences with Zoot (after trying a few other places in town), I don’t even hesitate to book her there!They exude competence, caring, and compassion for her in a way that see are both drawn to. And she loves the nature walks! She even gets excited when she realizes where I am taking her, and there is nothing more soothing to me as a pet parent :)

Took my 2 dachshunds in today and they had the best experience they’ve ever had a vet! They’ve been to Zoot a few times during Covid, but since I had to wait in the car, I didn’t get to witness anything for myself.Zack (Zach?) was our tech and he was wonderful! Usually my boys see a tech and their tails instantly go between their legs, but not with Zack! They very happily followed him to our room! (Huge deal for them to be so happy.) They normally hide under my chair when in our room, but not today! Toby even wagged his tail when Zack picked him up to take him back for an ear clean and nail trim. He was all smiles the entire time. I don’t recall our Vet’s name, but perhaps I heard Dr. Kay? She was great also! Took her time talking to me and explaining their new allergy med needs. As long as I live in GT, Zoot will be our vet! Thank you to everyone ☺️🐾

The wonderful staff at Zoots has been great. They care for Jake in a way that demonstrates the love they have for pets. Jake loves their Doggie Daycare and gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. The only word to describe them is “Great”.

This was my first experience with Zoot. Barnes helped with the evaluation of my two English Bulldogs for socialization. Zoot takes the time to evaluate their socialization skills prior to boarding. He was so kind and friendly, and Zeke and Zoe loved him immediately. They had an amazing time while there. The staff kept me up to date with any vaccines needed. Barnes provided us with a progress report at the time of pick up. The front desk was very kind and informative and the check out process was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend Zoot to anyone in need of boarding services. Thank you Zoot for a fun and positive experience. Zeke and Zoe were so happy and tired when they got home.

Our puppy had her first groom today, and we couldn’t be happier! She came out beautiful, happy, and smelling lovely! It’s like she can tell she looks fancy now😆💕💕🐕‍ pic of the before/after. We asked for as short as possible (within reason), because she runs hot and we do a lot of outdoor adventuring.
