What a fantastic store all around backyard bird feeding! This store has everything. I'm not exactly new to this as I already had a squirrel buster feeder and bird bath, but I learned so much here to prepare me for hanging my bird house, and I replaced my bird seed with theirs. The birds love it! It actually smelled good when I opened the bag! The bird seed from the grocery store doesn't ever smell like anything.They have this advanced pole system I bought, that will let me have a bird house at the right height and add a squirrel baffle to the pole later if I find it's needed. I can also add feeders to it as well, which is nice. Janet helped me pick the right place in my yard for it, stopping me from hanging it too close to my porch where I would make it unsafe for them, and she was very knowledgeable about birds. She also showed me tips and tricks that I wouldn't have learned online as quickly. I think a couple of chickadees have started nesting in the birdhouse. I don't want to disturb them too much, but opened it slightly and saw some first twigs arranged on the bottom!The store also has some feeders right in front of the entrance that the birds *love* flocking to it right after a person isn't around. That's quite a good sign, I think, that they know what they're doing here.

I don't know quite how to express my pleasure in my visits to this place. The staff are friendly & approachable, but they are also all committed & aware problem-solvers for your challenges (beware the rock squirrels!). They have a selection that is sufficiently varied to cover any of our regional needs without being intimidating or otherwise overwhelming, and they've had a solution to almost any query I've presented, whether related to season, drought or species.Sure, you might be able to do it cheaper but — and I say this as a career scientist who'd like to think he's pretty good at this — I'm pretty sure you won't do it better. Please help support this resource in our community.

I recently ordered a bird feeder from WBU for my Mother's birthday. After ordering online, the store reached out to me, informing me that the bird feeder was not in stock, but they have it on order, and it should be available next week. Hannah, the Assistant Manager, was pleasant and kept me up to date with the progress of my order. I received the bird feeder on time and was also gifted a small birdseed bag. I admire the time and care Hannah committed to helping me get the bird feeder on time. I will purchase from them again!

From bird sightings to the best seeds and feeders for your needs, you will get great, reliable advice. Can you get cheaper seeds elsewhere, sure, but they will be... well...cheap! You will get the best quality seeds for healthy wild birds at Wild Birds Unlimited and all their feeders and other accoutrements are built to last! And the staff is superb! It's the only place I go for anything for the birds who share my backyard!

I went to Wild Birds Unlimited here in Georgetown Tx looking for hummingbird feeders. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was obvious they enjoy working here and weren't just putting in their hours waiting for closing time. The store was clean and well organized. Enjoyable experience, I will be back.

Today I visited the store for the first time looking for a bird feeder that would last longer and that would deter rodents. She educated me on what would be best for my situation in my yard plus other information that was beneficial for me to know! I was highly satisfied with the experience I had while at Wild Birds Unlimited! I will be back and take the advice of the cost saving ideas and not to mention what would be best for the health of the birds while not feeding rodents in the process. Highly recommend this store!

Love WBU! Their staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about birds and how to deter other critters from stealing the bird food. They have everything you need from bird baths and fountains, poles and hooks for the feeders, baffles for squirrels and other bandits and ant guards for hummingbird feeders, bird houses AND bird food. They have birdseed in various size bags and blends. They have different size & shapes of suet blocks and meal worms, hummingbird nectar. Their seeds are also available with hot sauce coatings or you can get a spray to make any food hot. The birds can't taste the spice but squirrels and raccoons can. I was left a note asking for margaritas in the birdbath.If Wild Birds Unlimited doesn't have, you probably don't need it. (Or they may try to get for you or suggest where you can find it.)

It was a really nice place. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly. I'm really excited about the warranty on their products. The membership already saved me money. This is a great place for bird feeding novices as well as experts

Should have given 1 star but giving 2 stars because Nancy (sales person) was awesome in helping me out.First time experience was good, I was trying to set up bird-watching in my own backyard and Nancy helped me out with that. They were expensive but liked the fact that they stood behind their products with limited life-time guarantee.Later while setting it up at my place I found out that one of the tube feeder had something gooey sticking on it, no big deal I cleaned it up and continued with the installation but I also noticed scratches on a brand new product. That's when I decided to EXCHANGE it for a different one. I also purchased a yearly membership but later changed my mind on that. So wanted to cancel that as well.Three days after my purchase I Go into the store to Exchange the tube feeder and immediately the other sales lady starts making faces and rolls her eyes as if exchanging a product was a crime. I also mentioned that I changed my mind regarding the membership, the sales lady shakes her head and walks away to bring the owner. Owner comes out and immediately tells me refund cannot be issued and then I had to go to WBU website and show them the return policy.That said they gave me a new feeder and cancelled my membership but not without a hassle but now I have serious concern on how they will stand behind their product if something goes wrong. Are they going to shake heads and roll their eyes at me if I go in with a problem on the products I purchased?I understand these are difficult times (COVID) but that's no excuse to treat your customer this way. You guys were flat out rude.UPDATED:Reducing it to one star for not knowing what is happening in your own store. I came back in and also returned the free gifts, (so nothing to enjoy) I received with signing up for the membership. Only employee that knows how to treat customers is Nancy, the rest of the employees and owner need better management/training.

Love this store! The trickle of the fountains and the chirping bids make you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Liza is helpful and always ready to offer some interesting tidbit about birds!

Unique place! Great staff. They were very helpful to me and my two kids. We're not too savy about wild birds but walked out with more knowledge about our local birds and now we're going to install a Martin house at our property.

Great little shop with just about anything one might want for backyard birding. Nice supply of premium birdseeds. Prices are higher than big box stores, but Wild Birds is a franchise business run by small operators and people who love wild birds.

Courteous staff, nicely decorated, hidden location, and HIGH price tags.For the avid bird watcher, finding quality seed is tough and Wildbirds has the answer. Feeders, seed, and birdhouses of high quality are readily available in-store and for custom order.On the other hand, the store takes full advantage of its position in the hobby market to keep product pricing significantly expensive. Most bird seed at lower prices is low in quality so this store places itself conveniently as one of the the only other choices in the area offering the standards bird enthusiasts seek. It attempts to offset high retail tags with a discount program (with membership fee) but benefits are only evident with purchase of several bags of seed.I would buy feeders from here but use another seed supplier like PRD Seed since they have quality seed and deliver it right to your door for free.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a little pricey. Nicely decorated; clean, courteous and knowledgeable staff, background music added a special touch. At first I thought the place was closed since the windows were dark. All in all good experience will make return visit.
