I can’t say enough good things about Betty. She’s a true animal lover. She doesn’t kennel your dog, she doesn’t restrain them while grooming. She lets them run around and sniff everything and adjust to the environment. She sends you pictures and videos the whole time they’re with her. My two dogs immediately loved her and felt completely comfortable, and so did I. She even took the time to teach me how to properly trim feet and fanny myself at home! Now that I know about Wholesome Doodle Spa and the collaborative grooming method that Betty uses I’ll never take my dogs to a standard groomer again. This is the way it’s meant to be done. It’s worth every single penny to me to have my dogs come back looking amazing and feeling amazing too.

We’ve been coming to Betty for 2.5 years and she’s made our experience so amazing! She’s very attentive, loving, and educational. You can tell she’s so passionate about her work. At first I was so nervous having heard horror stories regarding pet grooming experiences from other businesses but after our first appointment with Betty, we’ve never had a doubt when our dogs are in her care. They even love her so much that they cry when they see her place come to view! I would recommend anyone to do research on the breed and have photo references to provide to Betty. She is so accommodating with all the haircuts I’ve requested over the years. In addition, Betty’s assistant Adel is also amazing to work with. Overall such great people and I will always and only go to Betty.

Betty is SUCH a GEM! So happy we found her. I brought my golden doodle for her first overdue grooming appt - she was anxious and definitely had several tight mats 😣 Betty’s love, care, understanding and patience are unmatched. She truly wants what is best for the pups she cares for and is very clear on setting expectations and with communication. Results exceeded expectations, and we will certainly stick with Betty from here on out!

I love Betty and how she grooms my Kendi. It is so wonderful to know he is not restrained to a table or left in a kennel. I am so lucky to have found Wholesome Doodle Spa!! I did quite a bit of searching for the perfect place for my puppy! I immediately knew that it would be here with Betty. She takes such pride in her work and is truly gifted! Her attention to detail is so impressive. I love taking my dog to her and I know that he is in the best hands! Betty is amazing. She groomed our doodle recently and she did wonderful work. Bella had some larger matts around her ears and neck and she was able to get control of them without shaving her.She also gave me lots of instructions (verbal and handouts) about the upkeep of Bella's coat and where the hidden, possible trouble spots are for her hair. We like to keep her shaggy and she matts fairly easily.Bella will certainly visit her again.

My experience with Betty was absolutely AMAZING! I just moved to Austin with my doodle and wanted to get a good groomer and Betty exceeded my expectations. She was so thorough, giving me updates as the appointment went on and even showed me before and after pictures of his ears, paw pads, mats, etc. She is so professional and so sweet. Also is great at knowing exactly what you want your doodle's cut to look like. She is very knowledgeable and if you're looking for a doodle groomer look no futher!! She's the best! I was so nervous to find a groomer that would treat my Lil’ Nugget like their own. Wholesome Doodle Grooming (Betty) was absolutely the best experience for my puppy. She greeted her on her level, let her warm up to her before approaching and made Lil Nugget fall in love! She looked perfect when I picked her up and the next time we visited, my fur baby immediately started the tail wags. Thank you so much!!!!

Betty should be called the groomer to the stars, but in this case the dogs end up being the stars. She is incredible, patient, flexible, and it is not your typical grooming experience in all the right ways. She shares her knowledge to help all doodle owners, and goes out of her way to make the dogs feel comfortable throughout the entire grooming process. We've tried several groomers and were beyond happy when we found Betty. We drive from Austin because she's that good. There's a great coffee shop on the G'town square nearby to work/eat/shop while you wait. Great experience for dog and owner.

Betty is the best in the business. Her haircuts are a 10/10. You will know that from the pics. The huge win you. may not know about, that my wife and I prefer, is that Betty works on one pup at a time. We drop Walter off for 1-2 hours and he's done. Other places keep him all day in an assembly like operation.The past week, when we stopped by for our most recent Walter shave - my pup ran from my car and into her studio! He didnt even look back! He loves Betty, and you will too!

Betty is a really excellent dog groomer and such a sweet person. We started bringing our first dog to her when he was a young puppy in 2015 and when we adopted our second dog he joined the appointments starting in 2018.Both of our dogs are large doodles (65lbs and 85lbs), but Betty has no trouble managing both of them, which makes it super convenient for me to drop them off for their spa appointments together.She is incredibly thorough and always keeps us informed if she notices anything that we might need to get checked out such as the beginnings of an ear infection. If one of my dogs is going through some issues like feeling nervous that day for grooming or having a skin allergy flare up, Betty is so gentle when taking care of them and making them comfortable.Betty has been so great over the years to us and our dogs. She's always is interested in feedback and wants you to get the style you're looking for, even if it's not a traditional cute doodle cut and you ask for their hair super short all over (which we always do in the hot summertime!). She treats your dogs as if they were her own so we always have trust and confidence bringing our dogs to her.

Betty did a great job with my puppy’s first haircut. I showed her some pictures to help her understand what I am looking for and she did an excellent job. She plucked my pups ear hairs and filed his nails for free and sent me cute pictures while grooming. She’s quick to respond, very sweet and good at what she does.

She is very thorough and always has great recommendations and advice on how to manage grooming at home between appointments, which is always so appreciated. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for Betty. She took my Benji as a client, knowing he was reactive and had anxiety issues. She took him in anyways. She coached me through introducing him to her and her home.Now I can’t even say her name around him because he gets SO EXCITED. Betty is a magician!!! I have no idea how she does it. She somehow manages to give our wiggle-monster of a dog a perfect haircut in under an hour. We are so happy we found Betty! Duncan was terrified of being groomed before we started going to Betty. Now he lays down and rolls over on his back when he sees the hairbrush and he actually falls a sleep while I am giving him a bath. The brush she recommended I buy to use in between appointments has made it so much easier to maintain his hair. Duncan loves Betty and is always happy and excited to see her which is why I am 100% confident she will always give my doodle the most gentle grooming experience possible.

Education is so important to her so not only is it so relieving to leave your doggo in such educated and caring hands, but she teaches you the tips and tricks as well. I will never go anywhere else and if Adel would let me prebook years in advance I would. Could not recommend Betty more.

We have been using Wholesome Doodle Spa for our Tito for 2 years and we couldn’t be happier. Betty is very professional and kind. Tito loves her which makes it an easy experience. Her specialty with Doodle dogs is a huge plus!
