Pharmacy has TERRIBLE customer service. My sons prescription was out of stock and I received no phone call to alert me. I was told I would need to wait 2 more days. I asked if they could send it to a nearby pharmacy and I was rudely told I could go to another location and ask them myself. The pharmacist was rude and condescending to me the entire time. It’s obvious these ladies do not truly care about their customers health needs. I will NOT use this pharmacy ever again. Do NOT recommend!!!!!!

I could not believe how the pharmacist, Jillian, spoke to me. She was rude, condescending and demeaning. I can't believe someone with an advanced medical degree could treat patients so poorly.Little did she know I'm a doctor myself and there's a running joke in Georgetown that no doctors want patients to fill medications at this Walgreens because their service is so poor.I will happily take my business to HEB from now on and recommend my patients and professional colleagues seek pharmacy services elsewhere.

My regular Walgreens didn’t have the medication I needed so I called this one asking if they could fill it. The lady on the phone was rude and snappy. I was told my medicine was an antibiotic and she snaps at me saying “no this isn’t a antibiotic it’s a cough medicine!” In such a rude tone that I almost hung up. I then asked if it could be filled and she said “obviously. We can have it ready at 12:30.” If I was given wrong information by my doctor that’s not my fault and there was no reason to be rude or have an attitude. She could have informed me nicely. I am a teacher so I get being short staffed and over worked but you can’t just be mean to everyone who needs medicine! Worst costumer service! Not coming back here after this!

I only gave this review a 2 because of the fact of how I was treated at the pharmacy today. Jackie was by far the rudest pharmacy tech. I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me and the attitude. I really don't think she can handle the fact pace environment because the attitude speaks on it. She definitely needs training or perhaps something else to get her attitude in check. I definitely will be reaching out to corporate about my visit.

Areas that need improvement are customer service & service time. I walked in to see if my prescription had been sent but was told it hadn't and to return in a couple of hours, totally reasonable. I called a few hours later to confirm it was ready and the lady that answered had trouble finding the prescription/insurance. She did search for me til she was able to verify both and instructed me that the prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. The wait to pick up the prescription at the window took about 30 minutes although the conversation had been held hours before. Almost as though they were preparing it at that moment.

This pharmacy is horrible! I have been a Walgreens customer for years with all my prescriptions!!! I moved to Georgetown and this store is the worst with customer service in the pharmacy! Some of pharmacy people are nice and helpful but one stands out to be unprofessional and is snarky with customers. They change their hours and say they don’t have enough staff but they have more workers than any of the other Walgreens I have gone to. I went over to Williams Drive and they were polite and nice and filled my prescription fast and without any issues! Good Bye Walgreens on University for any prescriptions wish others would note if they have had issues maybe they can get rid of that issue!!!

When we arrived the manager and her staff we reviewing the days projects. I'm very aware that there is a lot of work required for the staff. Once they were done, I asked a staff member, happens to be the manager, if we could get our passport photos. She quickly wrapped up what she was very busy doing and helped us out! As a previous business owner, I typically do not put reviews up online. However, the lines at Walgreens pharmacy (University Blvd. Georgetown) are unbearable and to boot they just closed their drive thru "until further notice" causing the line in the store to wrap down aisles. This is one of the companies you read about in the book "Good to Great" now they are FAR from great! They were even doing Covid testing in the drive thru and not asking people to pull aside causing the drive thru lane to sit idle for 30 min to an hour at times. Ridiculously poor management and lack of customer service. I sent all of my family's prescriptions to another pharmacy. This means the store wont get my business either. See ya Walgreens!

This particular location is horrific. I have never, EVER, experienced such a terrible wait time as I have at this pharmacy. They are very ill equipped, they move about as fast as a turtle and on top of that they really aren’t very friendly. My experiences at every other Walgreens I have been to (which has been a lot) have been wonderful, which is why I still use Walgreens as my pharmacy; but this location is by far, the worst I have EVER been to. I am not exaggerating at all.

This has to be the worst Walgreens EVER. The pharmacy staff is also extremely rude. I understand being short staffed, everyone is short staffed but to be rude as well is unacceptable. And on top of that, they cut hours to make wait times even longer. I highly recommend any other Walgreens or any other pharmacy.

I am So entirely fed up with looking for and not finding a reliable medical prescription service. I waited in the drive thru line for approximately 40-45 minutes just to have Walgreens close its window just as I pulled up. I was aware that Walgreens drug counter wanted to close at 6pm (which was already early), but they shut down service at 555pm 5 minutes before they were supposed to be closed. Guess there were a couple of “people” that were in a hurry to get home to stuff their faces with cheetos and ice cream. I did 23 years in the army so I’m used to waiting in lines, but I always got what I needed. I’d already been waiting for 4 days for the 3 prescriptions to be ready. When I finally get my medications, I’ll be finished with Walgreens.

If your stopping because it's convenient, don't stop here. I waited at leastb30 minutes in line. Also, prices were not marked so I had to ho through the line twice. Dripping with sweat by the time I left. It was unbearable hot.Never going to this Walgreens again.

I needed an updated Passport photo and went to this Walgreens because of its convenient location on my drive home. The store was very clean and there was no wait. Rachel in the photo section was very helpful. She helped me get my passport photo quickly and efficiently. I was able to take photo and pick it up within 15 minutes. One of the few stores that also doesn’t have trading cards locked in anti-theft protection. Also a good coffee selection and there is always something on sale. A good, clean Walgreens store overall.

Where is the zero star button? This is the worst Walgreens ever. I honestly think it's because it's in Georgetown, and any business in GT is just going to come up short reaching your expectations. One star for the slow, inconvenient, people of Walgreens and 1 star for GT. Thanks for making me want to move. You're awful people

During these times my Mom cannot travel for the holidays so she wanted to send Gift Cards for Christmas. I went to this store to purchase for her - but could not because there is a limit due to fraud? Fraud...when you are buying with cash?? So now I have to go to 4 different Walgreens to buy...and expose myself...what sense does that make...none. Or why not just go to CVS and buy everything at once! I stopped going to Walgreens Pharmacy because of the poor customer service...seems nothing has changed. I dont want a message from Walgreens saying how sorry you are. The Manager could. have rang me up different times and choose not too...

This Walgreens has randomly closed early again without any notification to its customers. I am without meds I need tonight and can't transfer them. Moving everything to CVS. They are often extremely slow and don't have what I requested.

This pharmacy is in need of some serious help. Pharmacy is closed again today for no apparent reason. I have been trying to pick up meds for a week and either there are 10-12 cars in line for the drive thru and as many ppl in line inside, or they close early or like today, fail to open. What the heck is going on? I have moved my business to H‑E‑B this afternoon. Pitiful.

This Store's Pharmacy has it all together Prompt,Courteous,helpful,professionalism are words that come to mind. If it were possible to rate them "6 STARS" I would...YES they are THAT good. I have used them as my pharmacy for years now...This is an "ALL STAR" team plain and simple. In customer service they rate "A++"

Horrific display of customer service. I needed to buy medicine and the tag stated Buy 1 Get 1 50% off. Prices are also cheaper on their app so I asked the associate to price match. She called the manager over who rudely stated they do not match to anyone, not even their online prices. Yet it clearly states on their website that they do honor requests if asked. Secondly, she refused to honor the tag special. How can a manager deny a customer what the tag and website is stating? I will not be supporting this store any longer.

There is a woman at the front desk who is particularly rude. Perhaps the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Although this is the closest pharmacy to my house I’ve had all my prescriptions sent across town, just to avoid this pharmacy.

The staff here at the pharmacy has been rude to me every time I've gone in. I'm lucky if I get them to pick up the phone, and if I do, the staff is always incredibly short with me and acts like having to deal with me is some kind of huge burden. This is by far the worst Walgreens location, if it wasn't the closest to my house I would never go here.

Disgusting sham of a business. No customer service, does not follow its own hours of operation, constant slow service and “computer crashes” at the window. And they try to make you pay even if you provide proof of insurance. Should be reported to the BBB. Absolutely disgraceful

Bad service, inside or by car service the lines are long. They never answer the phone and if you go in the morning they always open after 8:00 the people are rude, and I'm at the phone right now I called super early and no one answers it's been 30 minutes waiting. Yesterday I went to pick up a prescription and had to wait more than an hour because of so many people. Never answer the phone!

Horrible costumer service. I always go to walgreens for all my makeup needs because they tend to have good deals on different make up labels. I decided to go to this walgreens and noticed they had a few mascara boxes from cover girl on sale, but when I took the boxes to the cash register the older lady at the front said that sale only covered one box, which was completely insane because it did not say that anywhere on the box or the sticker that was upfront where the boxes hang from. She called the manager only for her to say that it was an old sticker and played completely dumb saying sometimes people make mistakes, even though the sticker had the same exact name from the boxes. Both ladies at this Walgreens, a manager named Mary and the older lady as a cashier, were rude, but did not want to honor the on sale item prices. I am so disappointed because they have a lot of competition with stores like walgreens, walmart and CVS, and they act like it's ok to mistreat the costumer and not honor the prices they have upfront to begin with.
