Walburg Nice 5☆☆☆☆☆place to stop for gas/Fuel 5☆☆☆☆☆ 5 restaurants to choose from, clean restrooms spacious 5☆☆☆☆☆ very very busy place that means something about the place keeps people coming back. Truck parking is way out from the building plan to walk along ways folks. Huddle house zero☆'s very depressing place, it could have been way better my ham steak w/bone-in was more like a piece of cardboard or like the soul on my shoe way over done came W/3 eggs asked that they be over medium got them well done, wish they had runny yokes my husband had asked for a steak and got cut-up fajita meat the size of his pinky finger. Sad to say the cook should cook the food for the customers not the way the cook would eat t heir food. But I can say the best part of the meal way the Salsa in the jar. "If we come back," we will try one of the other restaurants

As stated in previous reviews. THE PRICES ARE NOT MARKED AND YOU WILL GET STICKER SHOCK AT THE REGISTER. $3.89 for a energy drink. $4.99 for a slice of hunt brothers pizza and $4.99 for a bag of Doritos. First and last time stopping!

Exit 268, i35 Northbound. Very nice food court, specially Krispy chicken 🐓. Clean rest rooms and Plenty of truck parking. Awesome place to stop👍

Stopped here because it looked clean and had good food options.Staff was awkward and stood in walkways just chatting. 3 employees blocked the hallways on the way in and out of the bathroom and seemed inconvenienced when I said “excuse me” and squeezed by.We got sandwiches at Quiznos and the interactions were super awkward. Shrugged it off because there was somewhat of a language barrier. I ordered a sandwich and the employees including the manager never took my husband’s order. The manager was very preoccupied with weighing meat and appeared perplexed by the varying weights of the pre-rolled packages. My husband finally said “May I get a sandwich too?” And eventually we got our orders.At checkout they have two lines and four registers but if someone is buying lotto tickets or has a time consuming need, you end up waiting an excruciatingly long time. Just seems it would be more logical to have one line for the multiple cashiers.Bathrooms were clean though and the sandwiches were good so there’s that, but half an hour is too long for what should have been a 10 minute stop.

Large parking. Great fuel prices. Very clean bathrooms. Great variety of items. I stopped by for some snacks and found so many great options. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff and fast service.

This place surprised me very much! On the outside it doesn't look as big as when you walk in, there is tons of pumps to pump gas, for cars and semi trucks. You walk in and it is super clean and there is so many things to look at! They have a food court, they have 4 restaurants to pick from, they have a truckers lounge, showers and huge bathrooms with a lot of stalls, best of all, they are clean and we'll maintained. There is so many food options from beer to coffee to pastries to chips. There is plenty to choose from here and I definitely recommend anyone traveling to stop here for a safe and clean stop.

Your waitress was amazing, always ready to refill our coffees, and tea. If I were food order was messed up she was determined to always fix anything that came in wrong. Is a very pleasant experience.

Parking is a chap shoot. No prices on anything in the store. You will see why real quick. Food is pretty good.

I pass by this location at least once a month. There is a huge variety of souvenirs little keychains belts memorabilia my favorite are the hats I have gotten a couple of them in the past. The staff acts a bit annoyed. The bathrooms are always clean never out of toilet paper or hand towels. Pleasant little stop definitely enjoy it.

Love this place. Lots of truck parking. Even late at night. Showers are 10 bucks. Lots of food variety. I always get Quiznos or tacos. The real kind, not the texmex nasty ones.

Stores clean, showers were decent with the common issues of a public shower. Staff was cordial but not really friendly, like I’m here at work and you came to my place of employment but nothing more or less (disappointing as I tried to engage a few of the staff to no avail). Some didn’t even acknowledge me when I stood by the restaurant counters looking at food and ended up talking to myself when I tried to engage them. I realized later when the shower attendant didn’t speak English that the other encounters may have been dry or non engaging bc of a language barrier. 🤷🏽‍♀️Not sure how that works if you’re in customer service and dealing with mainly English speakers (management may want to reconsider that)Walked into a clean store but the parking lot was quite filthy, alot of variety with souvenirs, novelty items, & jewelry and as other reviews mentioned (things are a bit pricey) paid $16.00 for a pair of kid troll sunglasses …Showers were clean at glance but as with most public showers the people who clean them seem to not have the right equipment to get the corners and walls free of hair and other debris which lead to mold and horrible looking grout and tile and me showering with the previous guest personal items (I wear shower shoes and use my own towels bc I just don’t trust the cleaning abilities of truck stop employees. You’d think store owners would want their investment to last but I guess not). A better cleaning system that includes bleach, mildew remover, and/or comet would help but I guess not.My pictures shows little balls of debris and the filthy corners with trash and unknown items …not sure what the red stuff is (maybe cleaning solution) as it was on other areas of the bathroom also. I stepped out to take a pic (the white stuff is my sugar scrub which washes down the drain as I’m showering).I had to sign a list after purchase of my shower…the list that required my name, company name, time in, and time out; when I asked why (in Spanish) the attendant didn’t know why my info was needed (I presumed to make company drivers using the shower less prone to bad behavior in the shower). 🤷🏽‍♀️Who knows.There’s also no shelf to hold your bottles of shampoo/conditioner or body wash.They have 4 restaurants to choose from(including Quiznos subs (😳shocker bc I thought Quiznos were all permanently closed).I was hoping for a better experience but atlas 3 stars it is.

No one speaks English...Prices way higher than the other big chains. We spent over a hundred on food, water and snacks in the store alone... We will now fuel elsewhere.They refused to let a married couple of 25 years to shower together.. No problem paying for 2 people. It is environmentaly conscience.. But don't you dare try to make a couple shower separately just because some people can't "just take a shower" it saves time and water when 2 people have a system to make things more efficient.. And it's offensive to married team drivers.. WE and our friends will avoid this business in the future.Don't try to say it's for safety or trying to prevent sexuality. EVERY single male driver masterbates in the shower... A couple is just in a hurry to clean up, so they can go back to the privacy of their sleeper..😑 duhhhh..Keep your store policy. We will keep our values and money..

I had money to get stuck in the Texas Lottery machine and Shanna and Ruby tried to help me and were so kind. This place is also really clean and has a lot of great options for Food and drinks. Just don’t use the lottery machine! Buy tickets at the counter! ♥️

Bathrooms were super clean and private stalls were nice. They had really cool sunglasses and a great selection of them. However there were no prices anywhere. Same for the cigars. Lots of them to choose from but no prices. I asked 2 employees and neither knew the the prices. Also neither spoke English.

Went in for something to drink oh my gosh the smell in there was amazing Three different kinds of foods cooked fresh. They had chicken and then a taco place and a pizza place. So if you're on the road and traveling stop in and get you some gas and some good hot food.

Seems nice enough, but NO prices on ANYTHING. So we just used their restrooms and left 🤷🏼‍♂️ I was interested in drinks, snacks, and even some souvenirs, but I'm not willing to play cash register roulette.Also the men's room urinals were midget-sized.

Nice clean place. Plenty of parking, if you can get though the maze of trucks parked all over the place. Kinda of funny, NOT!!!!!!!!25 trucks park illegally(not in parking spaces) over a 100 empty parking spaces. And it was day light on a Saturday afternoon. I can understand if it was a full lot, but if the lot is empty, GO PARK YOUR FLIPPING TRUCK YOU LAZYA$$ MOTHER TRUCKER!!!!!!Now for Huddle House Restaurant, negative 5 star. Super slow service, burger was drier than a desert, fries were fresh but heck the portion size needs to be a little larger than what your paying.

Go into grab supper tonight 1-21-2024 about 5:30pm and Quiznos and taco place is already closed pizza looked disgusting. Bathrooms stink. Huddle house was ok yesterday. Coffee was better then TA. Hopefully no one else was looking for some food tonight cause that was very disappointing.

Back on November 26th, my wife and I decided to stop at the Walburg travel center to top off our diesel truck and grab some breakfast taco/burrito's. Everything went wrong on this visit... 1st is it was cold outside and we did not have our heavy jackets withu s and the pump would not take any of our CC's. We went inside to get it resolved and prepaying with our CC. I went back out to the pump and it would not reset and let me pump, tried using the call button.... nothing. Back in the store again and they did not know how to resolve, so I asked for a refund... This took a while and employees were confused on how to, and when I asked for a receipt, they again struggled. 2nd, tried to get a breakfast taco at their food court and after waiting at the counter for several minutes was told they were not available. hmm... a sign would have been helpful. 3rd, I decided to grab a bag of sausage sticks (no pricing). I realized when I got back to my truck that it was almost $40 for a dozen.... ugh. So the end result of our first and only visit to the Walburg travel center was no fuel, no breakfast and ripped off!

Only reason why I gave 2 star is for the truck parking. For every thing else its 0 star if you want to get rip off its THE place 2.99 for one apple there is no price mark nowhere in the store you get a surprise at the register

11/29/23….This place is a joke! Rude and offensive employees. No one really speaks or understands English and they treat you like you are the one that cant’t understand. Wanted to return an item that we decided not to gift and was told they don’t do refunds!!!!! Even with a receipt of purchase that happened yesterday 11/28/23. Everything is way overpriced and I guess that is the reason for only placing barcodes on items to scan!!!!!Total rip off and I don’t understand why BBB has not stepped in to do something about it. Do be a fairly new establishment, they have definitely missed the mark on customer service and employee performance!!!!!DO BETTER!!!!!!!!

I really liked coming to this place. I have been coming to it for a year but here a couple of days ago. a cashier, young lady made a big scene of a tool set that I was bringing to the counter. How did I get it out of the showcase? when clearly somebody had gotten it out for me. and her loud reaction, making a scene. in my opinion,was giving an indication that I might have stole it? Even though I was clearly walking to the cashier to pay for it? , along with other items I had.

Wow....If i could give this place ZERO stars i would. I just put $708 worth of fuel through mud flap at this location only for Walburg Travel Center to tell me that I cannot receive a free shower because I used mud flap. That i would need to pay $12 for a shower. What a RIP OFF!!! Walburg you just lost a customer!!!!

Nice place but they are shady. There is no prices on anything and seen two different people walk out after they got sticker shock from the high prices. Avoid any place with no prices. SCAMMERS! I just walked out!
