Dakota was awesome! He helped me to get coffee within my low-budget price point, and even introduced me to the "café ole" experience.I came to work remotely and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, and free refills.I'll definitely be back, and hopefully early enough to taste the food, too! (It looked wonderfully delicious)

My sisters and I visited Rivery Coffeehouse & Desserts for the first time to celebrate our mother’s birthday! We took her for a tea and it was so beautiful and made for a wonderful memory and day together!We used their online form to make a reservation and the setup was visually so inviting! The tea options are fantastic (I personally recommend the Coconut Oolong) and the pastry items were delicious.It was such a lovely time, I took my husband there shortly after and we tried their cappuccino and a chai. The cappuccino was strong yet smooth and the chai was decadent.The ambiance is charming (Patti at Christmas) and staff are friendly.

Super friendly place. The atmosphere is beautiful! You can tell the owner put a lot of love into the place.I decided to skip Starbucks and Dutch Bros and try something a little more authentic for a change. I got the breakfast croissant with a side salad and a cafe au lait. The coffee and food was delicious! They have plenty of dessert options too, but my sweet tooth wasn't that active. I'll try something next time I come back.There's a public parking lot on the other side of the street; you won't find any luck parking in front/super near as it's in the middle of a shopping center and next to apartment complexes, but it's not a long walk. There's a decent amount of seating inside, and there's a few tables for outside seating as well.It's sort of a hobby of mine, visiting locally owned coffee shops. I'm glad I checked this place. I recommend you do the same!

Great atmosphere and very nice staff. A nice quiet comfortable place to meet with friends for a bite and coffee. I got the almond joy latte and it was good (not great but good), the buttered croissant was fluffy on the inside but the ends were more crispy then I would’ve liked, the puff pastry was a bit dry. There are also chairs and tables outside. Parking is right around the perimeter but looks like it could get packed quickly. A cute cookie place across the parking lot.

The High tea was phenomenal. Just call ahead or email 24 hours ahead and they will make you a magnificent high tea! Thank you for making moms bday special! The baked goods and croissants were beyond fresh. Melt in your mouth!

A very beautiful and aesthetic coffee shop. Good options for snacks and coffee. We were a party of 3 and had a macchiato and 2 americanos with hazelnut flavor. Coffee and snacks were a 3/5 but overall great vibe.

Rivery is so delicious! I visited here with a friend on Feb 2020 right before the pandemic and we reunited here this weekend! Still delicious! Amazing drinks! Great service! I saw the tea set up and cannot wait to book my own! Look at that menu!The croissants are classic and delicious. Try the almond joy latte iced and the lavender lemonade! <3

This is a super cute coffee shop located close to the wolf ranch area! Now, i still prefer my starbucks but i always like to go somewhere local every so often!It is a good place to got before you go shopping or a midway snack! A huge plus for my my gluten-free friends, a lot of the food options are gluten-free!!!The cutest part is the tea set up! It make me want to have a tea party!!

This used to be our favorite coffee place with amazing cakes. Our last visit they only had 3 cakes to select from and told us they will not assort as many cakes as they used to. On top of that we had 2 slices and they started charging $10 per slice which is ridiculous considering you can buy whole cake for $20 in HEB. We ended up paying $37 for two cakes and two cappuchinos. Not mentioning when we asked for spoons they offered us plastic spoons. Very poor experience, we are not planning on visiting this place anytime soon.

Cute shop. The prices are way too high to give 1"$", which is how this is listed. While you can get a single Bagel for $3.50, you pay extra for your shmear or topping. Plain coffee is $3.00 and drink prices go up from there. The breakfasts go from $9.50 -$17.00. What do you get? I had to send mine back. It was a breakfast sandwich, no cheese, on sesame. The eggs were baked in a cup. They were streaked with black, perhaps from off the cup. The first bite tasted like an everything bagel so I sent it back. The manager came to talk to me and assured me that everything was clean but that all bagels are toasted in the same toaster. She offered to bake mine and I asked for my money back which she quickly agreed to. She was polite. I ordered a 16 oz. coffee, while I don't think the cups were 16 oz, I was welcome to refills so I should of ordered the 12 oz. She offered me a full to go cup when I was ready. At that time, the employee took the remainder of my coffee which was cold and poured it in a to go, then asked if I wanted it "topped". I told him I wanted a full cup so he topped it, rather than giving me a full fresh cup as promised, thus handing me a lukewarm beverage. Along with a bottle of Coca Cola, my dining partner asked for turkey instead of ham on his breakfast sandwich. There was a $2 upcharge , about a 20% increase, however, there was probably a 1/2 serving of meat. He wasn't sure his bagel was toasted and had a "meh" response when asked if he enjoyed it. The staff was polite, I did get my sandwich taken off the bill. There is no teacher or senior discount. It was $18 for a bagel sandwich and 2 drinks, had I kept my sandwich it would've cost about $29.00. I wouldn't say I'd never go back because the desserts looked like they could be good, but they weren't cheap. (Cookies cost $3.75.) The atmosphere was attractive and enjoyable. I would not go back for bagels or breakfast.

I enjoyed this place. My matcha latte was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and cute. I didn’t love my cookie since I prefer soft cookies, but they looked to have a wide variety of desserts. I would definitely go again.

This is a cute little establishment let’s start there. I normally buy my truffles from here but they discontinued them. ☹️ so I tried their pastries and sadly I was disappointed. Their gingerbread and white chocolate coconut cookie was horrible. Very Dry! However the cashier was a doll. Very helpful and attentive gave suggestions she was great. I also tried the Macaroons..Chocolate and Pistachio they were all dry and tasteless. 2 cookies and 2 macaroons was over $15. After trying the cookies and macaroons I can’t see myself trying anything else on the menu. So I won’t be coming back. My advice get the truffles back.

A place that has delicious gluten-free options is always a 5 star in my book?My auto shop recommended that I try this place out. I originally walked out because I did not know they had gluten-free options on their menu and the line was going out the door. Someone told me they DID have gluten-free options so I went back. I am so glad that I did.They have the most delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies on the planet. I combined that with a caramel pecan gelato and I was in dessert heaven!The ladies are super friendly. The manager is so kind you just want to give her a hug at first sight. Great service. Great atmosphere. Eat inside or sit on the patio.No wonder they are so busy at times. If they are busy, it behooves you to walk around a little bit and come back. This little place is more than a coffee shop. And their treats are delicious.I devoured the chocolate chip cookie before I can get a picture. I just couldn't wait to sink my teeth into that thing. But I did take pictures of other goodies that they had. Enjoy! 😋 ☺️

My mom, sister, and I visited this place today for afternoon tea. How amazing is it that you can get afternoon tea service with just 24 hours' notice and they don't make you wait for a special holiday or only serve on a Sunday or whatever rules so many other places have?! And - it was SO GOOD. There were three of us and there was more than enough food for all, with a bunch leftover that we brought home for our husbands. I had the Earl Grey Lavender and the Jasmine teas both, and they were amazing. My favorite sandwiches were the traditional cucumber, my mom liked the turkey ones, and my sister liked the avocado toast so it worked perfectly. The second layer had almond croissants, apple turnovers and cream puffs and the dessert layer featured lemon bars, truffles and s'mores brownies. Amazing. The service was also excellent, with both baristas checking in with us regularly to make sure we didn't need anything. And how could I forget our mimosas and lavender lemonade!? Everything was awesome and we will absolutely be back for another afternoon tea experience. Go - right now!

Beautiful setting. Nice employee. I got a very stale piece of chocolate cake, and a cappuccino that had that burned taste and had maybe one ounce of milk on top? not even a cappuccino. There were no prices listed anywhere so I had the pleasure of paying over $14 for what I could not consume. (I did ask for a refund on the cake) I was not even going to leave a review, but after reaching out to the company via email, and waiting a week, they have not had the decency to respond--so a bad review is all that is left. Visited on May 1, 2023 photo is of the cappuccino I was served with one sip taken out because I was hoping it was going to at least be an excellent espresso.

The coffee is amazing, environment is cute and friendly, and the staff are super helpful if you aren’t sure what to get. Sometimes the lines get backed up with people from the hotel, but most of the times we have come we haven’t had to wait in line. It can take a bit longer to get a Togo coffee order, so plan accordingly to avoid being late somewhere.

Texted my husband: “best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.” I stumbled into Rivery after a car repair close by. I was pleasantly surprised! Love the decor and the cozy seating area. Not to mention my Lavender Latte with Oatmilk and croissant breakfast sandwich were both amazing. Will definitely be back!

I'm so disappointed. I've been twice before and had the best coffees I've ever had! I went today and got an iced latte and a bagel with cream cheese. The latte was not made with the milk I asked for. It tastes so heavy, like it was made with half and half or heavy cream. The bagel was the biggest let down. Paid extra for cream cheese and there was a hilariously small amount put on. If I hadn't been carrying my infant in his carseat between the coffee shop and the oncology office I would've gone back to ask for these to be fixed.

The desserts look so pretty. I had a great experience from the staff Friday, but not as friendly on Sunday.The cortado wasn't made correctly. When coffee shops have it on the menu I judge the quality if skills on that drink. I most likely will not go back iust for coffee, but will go back to hang out. The place is cute AF. ;)Had the rainbow cake, it was good.The thing I love about this place is that they offer high tea. Will be booking with my kiddo soon.

Since the new management it closes almost everyday at 4 pm, and prices have almost doubled. It’s 5$ for tea. Literal hot water.You can’t work there properly with super early close times. Please go back to 8 pm or even 7. Especially if you’re going to charge double.
