This place is beautifully dangerous. I just went in to buy 20 6" pots to repot some seedlings and walked out with six lantana, a butterfly bush and an Abelia.

I love this place! They had the best selection of roses at the beginning of springtime. You can also find amazing seeds that aren't common to find everywhere else. Prices are good, and their delivery is much better priced than all other nurseries nearby. Costumer service is great as well.

Knowledgeable people. been to the garden center a dozen times. Most recently, I asked what to use to get rid of ground nesting yellow jackets. The guy told me what to do and have not seen any more yellow jackets. By the way did not have too buy anything. The man said to mix up 10 gallons of really soapy water and pour on the area. Worked like a charm.

They never disappoint! $14.99 for this little Fiddle Leaf Fig. I don't think I have ever seen one smaller than a 3 gallon. So, she is now a part of our collection!

Great customer service! Stopped in because I needed too soil for grass sod and they were nice enough to figure out how many bags I would need to cover my square footage. They were right on the money! They also have a wonderful selection of just about any flower or tree you could possibly want for your yard. Will DEFINITELY be a regular there. SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS!!!

We love to visit McIntires Garden Center. Our toddler loves to see the plants, kittens and chicks in the store while we find beautiful plants and inspiration for our home. The garden center is not only peaceful, relaxing but a place for education.I find the prices to be really well priced compared to other stores in the area, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate for their work. I appreciated the quick lesson in tomato types.

We recently bought 8 crape myrtle trees from McIntire's, they are beautiful and starting to thrive! Lisa gave us great advice on which ones to pick from based on our needs for height and purpose. They offered reasonable delivery too. We purchased on a Saturday and trees were delivered 8am on Monday. Customer service was wonderful! I highly recommend shopping here!

Great place, a true local nursery that sells what grows here not like the big box stores selling plants that wont survive our area, friendly staff, they even have seed potatoes by the lb. and bulk vegetable seeds, very knowledgeable, worth the drive from Manchaca. Thank you for being here!

This place is awesome! A coworker recommended it to me. I went on my lunch break and found myself surrounded by a beautiful array of plants. A lovely employee helped me pick out the perfect succulent along with a pot and water tray. She even took it to their dirt pile and planted it while I checked out! 12/10 will recommend this place to anyone who wants plants or gardening supplies!

I really wanted to like it but most of the plants are in a not so healthy state (maybe because of an extra dry summer?). That gives a beginner like me second thoughts that if they can't keep them healthy what chance do I have. I did buy some seeds and the person at the counter was helpful.

Local gem! Great variety of plants at decent prices. Staff members are extremely knowledgeable and can always answer my questions. It’s not visually appealing or easily laid out like some newer/bigger places, but I enjoy rambling around and finding neat surprises. They pack a whole lot of punch into a relatively small space. (You can always ask staff if you’re looking for something specific and they’ll lead you right to it.)

Great old school garden center with larger variety than box stores. This is the first place I go for spring veggies and annual flower or any other plant need for that matter.Update: Well i'm sad to say MCIntire's has changed. Feels gentrified this year. They still have a great selection of most things, but the 3 times I've been there this year their selection of 6 packs of flowers and vegetables has been very limited. I really like the folks working there, and will miss seeing them. However, it's simply not worth the extra miles trip any longer.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We showed a photo of our beds and described the area / lighting conditions, and they gave us many recommendations. Will definitely be going back for more plants, and highly recommend McIntire's to anyone wanting to dress up their yard. Many thanks to my neighbor for the recommendation.

I have been a customer at McIntyers for over ten years. They have a couple of star employees who are knowledgeable and helpful. I have used Liz and Lisa over the years to help me with projects. Recently I had a big project and spent between 4-5k on plants. The Italian Cypress did not make it, despite the fact that I did everything I was told. The fact that it died was not anyone’s fault. I followed directions and McIntyers was not to blame, but I had it for only two months so it seemed reasonable to ask for a portion of the cost of the tree back to be used as a credit toward another tree to replace it. Liz and Lisa were not working so I was able to speak with the owner, Katie. She told me that no, I could not have any sort of credit towards another purchase. I told her how much I had spent recently, that I had never asked for a credit before, that I had been shopping there for a decade, and that she would lose a customer if she was not willing to make some effort to compensate my loss. Mind you, I was not asking for a refund. I was asking for a partial credit to use toward another purchase. None of that mattered. She said no. In a small town like Georgetown, relationships matter. Small businesses depend on loyal customers especially in these times. I guess Katie doesn’t feel the same way about relationships or loyalty toward her customers.

New to gardening this year, dear friends gifted us with 6 plants from McIntire's which have flourished and grown into gorgeous healthy plants. Liked them so well, went and bought 3 more that are excellent plants as well! We also purchased 7 dust and snail bait from them. Will be going to purchase seeds for the fall in the next few weeks. Love this place! Love the quality of their plants.
