Just moved to Georgetown and was looking for a good place to buy barbacoa tacos and we found the jackpot. This place is awesome. Clean, friendly, good stock and lots of inventory. Definitely our go to spot.

Went to La Plaza for the first time. I bought two pounds of cooked meat ($40), freshly made tortillas, Jarritos and Pan de Deluce. We were all impressed with their food, we will be back!

First time coming into this place because it was conveniently open before 8am. However, I could barely walk around the store because of boxes from their delivery. I paid $19 for 2 boxes of animal crackers because it was daughter's turn to provide snack for her class, way over priced. The cashier was rude as well. No customer service. I even said thank you have a good day and she just looked at me then looked away.

It's interesting to shop here. I find such great deals. Whether it's cooked meat prepared or seasoned meat from the meat department, it's always a great price! I was able to get meat for 5 meals with side items for about $35. For me....this is awesome! ☺️There is a slight language barrier. I do not speak Spanish well nor fluently, however, they are very patient with me as I try to read the signs when placing my meat order.The seasoned boneless chicken breasts were a hit for my dish. Very tender and seasoned to perfection. 😋🤗

I have to start off by saying the store was a mess. You couldn't walk through anywhere because they had palettes to stock up at mid day. Our cashier was had no customer service skills at all and she was very rude. And I'll end this by saying the prices are sky high. I will definitely continue shopping at HEB!!!

Just stay AWAY from this place!!I can't believe how bad it gets in the last 2 years, guy at the kitchen With tatts is rude we can't even ask for food options because he act like he is annoyed, I can't believe a plate of food and a flavor water is $25, with only 3 tortillas...really you can eat better and cleaner at 2 salsas for $16. Tables are always dirty and they barely put any food on plates.Hope health department send some inspectors here because food looks old on hot trays and nobody wears masks or hair covers.Never again!!

This is a great place to get meat. The people are nice and helpful. The tamales up front are really good (thick masa and mildly spiced meat), I got a chicken tamale, fantastic with a cold beer. Very reasonable. Has a variety of spices and goods from Mexico. I'll definitely go back.

La comida es buena pero la venden a precio de restaurante de 5 estrellas. Compré un contenedor de 16 oz de pollo en mole y me cobraron $17 dólares.Dejan que expire la mercancía y no la retiran del anaquel. Todo en esa tienda es mucho más caro que en otros lugares.-Food is good but excessively expensive. I bought a 16 oz container with chicken mole and they charged me $16 dollars for it. The beans I ordered (6oz) were really watered down. I found le out they sell expired groceries which they don’t remove .Last time going there. I’m sorry, but the management should know better than to believe they can get away with it. They got it this time, but I’ll throw it out there…. Beware of this predatory store.

If you're looking for the freshest bread, incredible cuts of meat, hard to find Mexican brands, or a quick bite to eat, La Plaza is the market for you. Immediately upon entering your nose is greeted by the smell of meat on the grill. In the back corner, all the bread your eyes can take in will make your mouth water. Go visit and enjoy.

I couldnt find a medicine off the shelf and i asked an " employee " he dropped what he was doing to help me out and after looking for a min and without speaking spanish, He found what i was looking for and was super friendly "the" employee turned out to be the owner and there is nothing better than to be helped with urgency and a smile on the face all the time. Just because of this i highly recomend this place. Give it a try you will find things you didnt expect.

All I can say about this place is that it's important to know some Spanish when you go there. And they're super expensive I mean more expensive than like say Randall's, just my opinion.

There are no prices and if there is a a price it's wrong and when you ask about the price no one knows or cares. I have shopped here multiple times and every-time I get scammed in some way. Today I got scammed I bought 1 chicken breast 2 leg quarters and it cost me 10 freaking dollars, and when I tried to question it the cashier rushed me and acting as if she couldn't understand me. Shoppers beware if you don't speak Spanish you will be treated unfairly.

Employers from the meat section are so rude and unfriendly. They made me feel so uncomfortable ordering. I was going to order a good a amount for a party but then I change my mind because of the way they have an attitude. It was no rush hour and I was the only one ordering. I would understand if they were busy but they weren’t busy at all.

I went into this jewelry shop in a Mexican Supermarket, because the reviews were so good; otherwise I might have gone to commercial jeweler. I was waited on promptly and within 5 minutes had an estimate on the repair of my diamond cluster ring. To replace the diamond chip, clean the ring,and strengthen the prongs in several places, cost $110.00 compared to$1100.00 estimate I received at a jewelry store near where I used to live. It was beautifully repaired within 24 hours and I was told any time I needed it cleaned, to return and he would do it for free. Super happy!

Such a nice addition to georgetown. This store has it all, what you expect in terms of fresh food and meat but what's unique to this place is the fresh food they cook and the bakery. You can order to eat on-site or meat to go, such as barbacoa, which is our favorite. The staff is always nice, and everyone is efficient enough to get you through the lines quickly. Be sure and make your way to the bakery tucked away in the corner of the store for authentic Mexican pastries.

Absolutely hands down the best Burrito I have had in Austin. They load it up with all the veggies, mean, rice, sour cream, cheese, and all for 9.99. The eating area was clean. The chairs and table were comfortable. They have fresh baked mexican pastries for desert. They also have Mexican cokes to go with your meal. All around a fantastic experience.
