My wife bought me a Compressor for my birthday when it was on sale last week. She paid $49.95 in cash so I would notice the transaction, and declined to give her personal information at the point of sale. I used the compressor for four days before I realized that it was leaking somewhere and was charging itself with air much too frequently when it was just standing unused, and its incredibly noisy! The solution was to return it for a refund, but when she tried today about one week later with the cash receipt she was first forced to enter a profile with one manager before being allowed to do so. A second manager was then summoned because my wife was surprised to learn that there was a 20% "restocking fee" based on the full price of $60 which she would have to eat or no refund. She was offered a replacement but obviously now had no confidence in the product and did not agree. Then the uppity little manager just changed his mind and said he was not accepting the return, which if you read their small print on the receipt is standard practice to exercise their decision not to.What a scam they are running - I for one will never shop at Harbor Freight again as they treated my wife like criminal for just trying to do what should be her consumer right, until they decided to change that to their advantage.

Went in today to by an oscillating tool. Sign on shelf gave model number and price with 5 accessories included. There was none in the box. I asked the cashier she said it was a misprint and quickly took the sign. I already had a photo. She said sorry. Tough luck. I found a package with 3 accessories. I said throw this in and call it even. She said no can do. I asked to speak to manager and was told he was unavailable on phone.

Have found it to be a great place to shop for tools. Not Mac or Proto, but good enough quality for the things I, and probably the majority of home mechanics and craftsmen need at reasonably prices. And, hell, can't deny it's a great place just to window shop for an hour or so.

We went today to exchange a couple of Pittsburgh Tools. Per the company’s return policy, they request that you bring the whole set, but they will still exchange the tools if you don’t bring the whole set. We didn’t have the whole set with us, and the blonde manager was incredibly rude and wouldn’t let us exchange the tools because we didn’t have the set. It’s one thing to not follow the company’s return policy, but the manager being rude and disrespectful was just uncalled for. We drove an hour round trip to the Cedar Park location and had absolutely no problem exchanging the tools without having the complete set. Everyone at the Cedar Park location was incredibly polite and helpful. Maybe the Georgetown manager should go there for some training in following policies and customer service.

We bought a pressure washer here & we ended up not using it. Brand new, still in the unopened box. They charged us a "restocking fee". Not happy with our service here.

and she product selection is great. Although sometimes it’s hard to find what you’re looking for. The store could have better signage. The hanging white in line to check out was short. Prices are on par with the products you buy. I enjoy shopping here and Will shop here again they always have what I need.

I was in and out! I walked in and a gentleman asked if I needed help. I haven't been in this store yet so I did need some help finding a pump I need. He found the right one for me and after a quick checkout I was gone! 💫💫💫💫💫

Went in because my daughter had an interview..I was in the same isle as another guy looking at the tools. The employee walks by and ask the other guy if he needed any help. I am with my daughter and I look at her and say am I invisible? And then I pointed to my skin and said oh, maybe it’s because I’m brown (jokingly). I just think if you’re going to ask a grown man at a tool store if they need help, you should ask the other grown man right next to him. could take it as a compliment, as if he figured the brown man knew what he was looking at, and the lighter skinned person needed help.I was there for 45 minutes not one employee spoke to me, not even greeted me in any manner.I was interested in buying new tools while I was there, but I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This store is not a friendly location, I tried returning an item to the store and the cashier started with saying I couldn’t return the item with my digital receipt and that was finally resolved with the manager (who provided that she was new) tried doing the refund multiple times, having it fail each time. I was only asking for cash back because it was a debit purchase but she refused and said it must go on one of my debit cards. Finally she said it worked and said the money should be on one of my cards in 5-7 business days. HOWEVER those days have now come and gone and the store refuses to give me money back for my return. Completely illegal and very frustrating considering I paid $90+ dollars for the item and the refund that’s still somehow “processing” is for only $81, and will never actually come through. All I wanted was cash for my return- after being told they could only put it on a card I should’ve ran to another store, because now I will never get any money for the item I returned in any form thanks to the new managers lack of knowledge of the system and the existing managers lack of concern for customer satisfaction, or legal responsibility for proving me with capital for the goods I returned. I’ll have to go to corporate and have this resolved, this location was a waste of my time. Very rude man at the checkout lines as well, he needs to work the back not the front where people expect respect.I went today 7-29-23 to see what relocation could be reached considering the refund has not magically been processed still and the manager said she does this all the time when I told her the refund must not have been executed properly (SHE WASNT EVEN THE PERSON WHO ATTEMPTED THE REFUND) .I WAS TOLD I CAN KEEP GOING UP THERE EVERY DAY AND WILL ALWAYS GET THE SAME RESULTS.Harbor freight what the heck happened, you used to be a good store..

Bought a winch, 12k synthetic. 700 bucks. I'm a business owner so I've probably spent.. over 10 to 15 k in the past 2 years here. Get the winch home and it looks like it came off the ark with Noah and it wasn't even a 12k winch. Went back and explained to the store manager and he treated me like a drug addict that was trying to rip the store off. Customer service told me to kick rocks as well. "The district manager is standing behind the decision of the store manager". Glad we could burn that bridge over 700 bucks. Definitely wouldn't give this company another dime.

Five stars on products and one star for staff. I love the tools, the tool selection and the prices. Harbor freight usually beats everyone on tool pricing. There is one drawback, I dislike the staff and that goes for every store I've ever visited in four states. Trying to either catch a sales clerk or track one down is nearly impossible. I want to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible, but I spend more time trying to find what I'm there for because I can't find à staff person. A happy customer will be a returning customer.

I can always get better prices and selection than 'big box' home improvement stores. The coupons and in store promos are a plus...the 'customer advantage' membership is overpriced 'hardware store hazing'....just give me your best prices everyday.

Went in looking for some plumbing tools. Found what I needed. Store wax not overly busy. They had a lot of products. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Prices were moderately priced in name brand items. I did not know there was a Harbor Freight in Georgetown. Very good experience.

Do not expect their system to keep up with ANY information. I have been to this harbor freight since it opened. I needed to swap out my inverter today and low and behold NON of my pst purchases would pull up in my account. But wombat could see the expired warranty’s on other purchases. Needless to say I was turned away with my broken inverter and was told to call customer service they couldn’t do anything. So it may sound good cheaper tools extended warranty but doesn’t mean much if they don’t honor it and their system is faulty. How convenient for them! I’ll spend more money at Home Depot and KNOW my investments in tools is properly handled

DISRESPECTFUL! I shop at this location by my work because it's convenient and I have always had a good experience at the Georgetown location. On Aug 18 i purchased an item but there was a discrepancy with the price. They assured me the cheaper price was wrong. I bought the item anyway. I got to thinking about it and figured maybe I could talk to the manager and see if they would honor that ticket. I went in with my receipt and the item. The manager Farrah, treated me very disrespectfully. I thought I may has just taken it the wrong way. No, she continued to treat me horribly throughout the process. Then when it came to the refund, she said she didn't have enough cash and that I needed to go to another location. Farrah crammed the tool back in the box. It did t fit, so she taped it shut. I'm still not sure why she was so confrontational but I'll never go back that's for sure.
